Neutrogena : Oil-Free Moisture with Sunscreen SPF 15

I bought this as a "starter" lotion on the regimen. After about 1.5 weeks now, my face looks great as far as the zits are concerned, but I'm pretty dry and flaky. I use all Neutrogena products: Extra Gentle Cleanser, On-The-Spot Acne Lotion (BP 2.5%), and Oil Free Moisture (Sensitive Skin). This just doesn't do a very good job of actually moisturizing. I tend to have oily skin, but after slapping so much BP, my skin isn't really oily anymore...very dry in fact. This lotion just doesn't cut it. I'm going to Neutrogena Healthy Skin variety with AHA. I'm also going to try to hunt down some Jojoba oil tonight. I am very encouraged by the regimen though. My skin looks better than it has in weeks...perhaps even months.

Oil-free and lightweight. It does feel a bit sticky & shiny at first compared to the other Neutrogena moisturizers, but I feel like most SPF moisturizers have the same effect.

I've read reviews that this moisturizer is light and as said on the label: oil free. But for me,it really felt heavy and oily when I apply it. Just half an hour after applying it, my face will turn so greasy. I had some minor breakouts, small comedones erupted in my cheeks. I won't throw this one away but I'll probably use it as a lotion instead.

The chemical sunscreen formulation Neutrogena uses gave me a bad reaction. I give this a 1 star rating, because I had to throw it out after a week of use. My eyes were stinging every single day that I used this SPF 15. The day I went back to Olay SPF 15, all of the problems went away. I guess, chemical sunscreens are not for me, or maybe it's Neutrogena's formulation.

I just couldn't use this anymore, as it was too shiny for my already oily skin. It made my makeup slip right off my face throughout the day. Might make a wonderful nighttime moisturizer. It also did not cause problems for my sensitive skin. I would recommend this to people with dry flaky skin.

Yes i would recomend this product i have acne prone skin and this is the only cream i can use on my face.

I first purchases this product last winter. It works very good in the winter time. It did not irritate my acne at all and its okay on my eczema.

I use this at night underneath benzoyl peroxide and in the day I blot my skin first with absorbant facial sheets and then apply powder. I've been faithful to this moisturizer for a while and love it.

Here's the bottom line; I really like this stuff. When used in combination with Neutrogena On The Spot, shine isn't much of a problem. However, if my face does happen to shine, I simply dab it with a napkin (it sounds odd, but I have tried everything else and high quality napkins [expensive} tend to work the best). Also, I recently ran out of my prescription acne treatment, so instead of using my prescription cream at night I simply rubbed Neutrogena on my face...and it worked great! To be honest, I think the key to remaining acne free is keeping your face fully moisturized and washing it regularly (2-3 times per day with a gentle face wash). I used to use the harsh 10% BP products and SA, but they never really helped. Neutrogena really works (for me), I would recommend it to anyone.
