avoid, avoid, avoid.
I have very oily acne prone skin, used this product for three days, seemed fine at first but as other posters mentioned it is very drying, which I combated with a really good moisturiser. Everything was going swimmingly until I woke this morning, with a face like the firey depths of hell.....extremely itchy Braille like rash, my nose and forehead are slightly swollen. My face is really tender in general. Never again, if I could rate it zero I would.

Did your skin recover - how long did it take?
July 22, 2014
omfg no.
I used this for 3 days and it was fine! I saw little changes, nothing amazing. But tonight when I put it on my face it started burning like really bad so I washed it off immediately and my face still burned a little, nothing major.. But here it is about 4 hours afterwards and my face is dry, itchy, burning, and there are places on my face that are starting to feel like sandpaper. It hurts super bad. I do not recommend using this stuff. I would honest to God rather feel my pubic hairs being waxed off every second of my life than to feel this pain on my face. I do not recommend!

Pros:

Cleaned skin thoroughly

Cons:

Irritation
Dryness
Breakouts

I did not like this product at all. I remember coming back to try it over and over through the years, but it just severely dries my skin out and causes bad irritation to my skin.

Pros:

Inexpensive cleanser
Helps fight acne
Cleans skin well

Cons:

Drying
Feeling of tightness

This was the first acne targeted cleanser I have tried and I'm still using it. After using it over the years, I like to switch up my cleansers once in a while so my skin doesn't get used to the product. Although it may be drying, it works well to fight acne. Make sure you moisturize after using it.

Pros:

Helps to clear face, does so within a few days. It also seemed to dry out my face, but not badly.

Cons:

It may dry out the face too much, but I now only use it once daily and its fine. But this was also due to using too much of it.

If you are not going to use too much and use the way that this site recommends for washing your face-lather the product and gently apply in small circular motions- it works great.

Pros:

zilch. well, maybe the awesome orange color.

Cons:

dried out my skin, made my acne worse.

I tried using it, and it first made my acne worse. I decided to give it about a month and a half, because that's when products usually start to really work for me. But this product continued to wreck my skin. It made it flaky, itchy, and dry, even though i have pretty oily skin. My acne even continued to be worse than before.

Pros:

-Leaves clean feel
-Helps with oily skin
-It helped reduce pimple swellings in my case, though not so much with overall pimples
-The smell's aromatic to me

Cons:

-Dries out skin like no other
-Slow results
-Doesn't fully remove dirt & grime

I was using this for a year before I switched off to a different cleanser for a month or two and that's when I realized that this helped me MUCH better than other cleansers. It has some very drying effects so I always use a facial lotion right after. I highly recommend that you moisturize after washing face with this. Overall, it's a pretty good acne controlling face wash. Use it about twice a day, and always remember to moisturize. Depends on the skin type though...

Pros:

The fact that this product was honoured to be my #1 most ridiculous product ever.

Cons:

It made my face dry so much that it hurts.
I have been getting more acne after uses of the wash.

I don't suggest you do or don't buy this because everybody's skin is different but personally, I would never buy this again.

Pros:

Clears up acne, has a gentle and refreshing smell

Cons:

Dries out skin, so make sure you have a good mosturizer.

This product is pretty amazing. I've tried a lot of things to manage my acne, and NONE has worked as well as this. I went from having 10-20 pimples on my face at once to having one occasionally! The bottom side is that it WILL dry out your skin, no matter how oily it is, so make sure to buy a mosturizer. I usually use it twice a day.
