Pros:

Works for about a week
Lathers
Okay smell
Washes off easily
Fairly inexpensive

Cons:

EXTREMELY DRYING

I have very sensitive skin, and this looked gentle enough. I was wrong. I've been using it for about three weeks. Today, i washed with it and after i dried my skin, my whole face was flaky and scaly. I definitely do not recommend this product for people with sensitive skin. I am thinking about switching over to cetaphil gentle cleanser.

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Dries out skin
Causes irritation
caused rash

This is by far the worst product I have ever tried. I didn't have acne at all and just wanted a cleanser, used this and literally in 30 seconds more than 20 red bumps popped up on my left cheek. I was devastated. I don't wear makeup so this really pissed me off. I use cerave hydrating cleanser, it is soft and great. No irritation! Recommend that 100%!!

Pros:

Really cleans out the oil in your skin.
A little drying for oily skin.

Cons:

Can be too drying for dry skin.

I wash my face with this at night. I like the fact that it is a little drying because right after I use this I put on a retinoid, Ziana, which made my face feel slimey, but it seems to absorb better if I use this product first. Only the luckiest of people are going to be able to clear their acne with a simple face wash, but if you have oily skin and you're using a system where your next product is a little slick or seems to have trouble absorbing into your skin, then this would be the definite way to go.

Pros:

Washes away dirt, oil, and whiteheads!!
Clears Acne!
Reduces surface oils
Reduces Redness
Relaxes complexion

Cons:

Can be a bit drying. But My skin is so oily it will only last for about 30 minutes or so.

Ive tried endless products including proactiv, acnefree. These high end systems work for a while but if you miss one treatment you break out again. Not so with neutrogena oil free acne wash it is very forgiving. But for the maximum results I suggest using it every morning and every night. If used in this manner your skin will be clear in two weeks!!! (depending on the severity of your acne) remember to pat dry after washing product off of your face. If you tend to have dry skin after using i recommend using the clean and clear moisturizers with acne medicine in it. I am a consumer like you, and from my past experiences this is the product to reach for.

Pros:

Inexpensive cleanser
Helps fight acne
Cleans skin well

Cons:

Drying
Feeling of tightness

This was the first acne targeted cleanser I have tried and I'm still using it. After using it over the years, I like to switch up my cleansers once in a while so my skin doesn't get used to the product. Although it may be drying, it works well to fight acne. Make sure you moisturize after using it.

Pros:

Decent Ingredients (other than Salicylic Acid)

Cons:

Too Messy
Irritated Skin, leading to more breakouts
Doesn't prevent new acne from developing

You have to experiment. I realized that Salicylic Acid doesn't help my face, so the cleanser was of little benefit.

Pros:

None!

Cons:

Our 9 year old son used this product and experienced a severe allergic reaction (chest was swelling and tightening, face was so swollen his eyes were shut and now 4 days later it looks like he has eczema). If you look up salicylic acid, you can see all the potential effects of this product and it shouldn't be used by pre-teens.

Be careful with this product!

Pros:

-Cleans deep down
-Gets all makeup off
-Cheap
-Gets rid of any little bumps

Cons:

-Could smell better, but it isn't terrible

I've used this facewash for almost 5 years now because it doesn't have benzoyl peroxide(I'm allergic to it). It's never failed to get rid of any bumps that I may have gotten. I would recommend this product to people with very VERY light acne and not super oily skin. If you have severe acne this may irritate it a bit. So all in all, I love this product!!

Pros:

Clears acne up right away.

Cons:

Leaves skin very very dry and cause other harmful effects to face

It's pretty good. But it does leave skin dry. And lots of other users for this product say it's bad. Here are some causes: irritation, dryness, itchiness, rashes,ect.......... Any ways I wouldn't recommend this for any user unless you want to keep constantly putting on lotion. Well I guess the choice is up to you now. :)
