Pros:

None (for me at least)

Cons:

- Irritated my skin.
- Made my skin feel tight.
- Gave me blackheads on my nose!
- Made my skin dull and rough!

I am very disappointed with this product... it did NOT work for me at all!!!!!! It just made my skin tight, dry and it never dried up my acne... I stuck with it for over a month and it just seemed like it did nothing for my face.. I believe it was because of the salicylic acid. I am probably allergic to that chemical.. OR my face is just not meant for that chemical.

Pros:

Looks lovely and is easy to use

Cons:

The following day I looked as if my face had been sandblasted and my eyes have puffed up.

I haven't got sensitive skin generally, so I'm really worried about whats in this product that caused such a huge reaction. Not happy.

Pros:

Contains 2% salicylic acid and works great for my extremely oily non-sensitive skin.

Cons:

May cause irritation if skin is not oily or are allergic to salicylic acid.

After reading the book "The Acne Cure" by Terry Dubrow, I came up with a routine that works great for my skin issues. Just to let everyone know though, I'm NOT allergic to salicylic acid, glycolic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Morning Routine: 1) Wash with Neutrogena oil free acne wash and let sit on skin for about 2-3 minutes, rinse and pat dry. 2) Apply Alphahydrox 10% glycolic oil free formula and leave on (don't rinse off). 3) Wait about 4 minutes and then apply Neutrogena oil free spf 15 lotion with DermaNaturals from the neutrogena acne kit. 4) Apply OC Eight to oily areas of face. Evening Routine: 1) Quickly and gently cleanse with Neutrogena skin polishing cleanser from the acne kit to remove the OC Eight and sunscreen. 2) Wash with oil free acne wash and leave on for 2-3 minutes, then rinse and pat dry. 3) Wait about 5 minutes and the apply the acne control lotion ( has 2.5% benzoyl peroxide) from the acne kit. For me this has really helped to even out my skin tone, clear pimples, blackheads, control oil for most of the day and reduced the redness that I always had.

Pros:

Good Price

It is a Horrible Product in general, it does absolutley nothing for your acne. I stuck with it for 2 months and had zero results, there wasn't even the slightest bit of improvement, and my skin isn't even that bad to begin with! Don't waste your time or money on this proudct .

Pros:

Worked for the first week
Helped balance out my oily skin
Felt nice on skin

Cons:

Stopped working after the first week
Made my light acne into moderately severe
Still recovering from the reaction to it
Smells a little odd but you get use to it
Even though it dried up my face it also made my hands way too dry and cracky that I had to use lotion which I never had to do before.

The first week I used it, I thought it was great since it dried out my skin to the point where I wouldn't have to worry about having an oily looking face but after that it went downhill and made me breakout horribly. I wouldn't recommend this product since it made me break out so much that people were asking me what happened to my face. I gave it another chance a month or so later and had the same reaction.

Pros:

Skin is less oily
Less blackheads

Cons:

Left some dryness
Left some redness

I have been using this cleanser for around six months and have it to work fairly well. Initially it made my skin quite dry, but after a week of perseverance this improved. I have not found my skin to worsen, however the improvements seem to have plateaued, as though my skin has become too "used to" the product. I am now looking for a new cleanser that is a bit gentler as I don't like the redness this cleanser seems to cause.

Pros:

- Smells AWESOME!
- Face felt soft in the SHOWER.

Cons:

- Made my face tight after using.
- Didn't help AT ALL with my acne; made it slightly worse.
- Caused dry patches.
- Made my pimples appear more red

When I first bought this product, I was excited to try it and see the 'magic' the commercial promised. While I showered, I applyed it to my face as instructed and washed it off to the feeling of smooth skin. (with small bumps of acne on the chin and nose) I was ecstatic that I ALREADY felt a difference. When I got out of the shower, I felt my face again, trying to believe the amazement I had felt earlier. It was gone. Instead I felt tight, dry skin. I looked a tad closer, happiness seeping away, and saw dry patches on my cheeks. One thing I didn't have to squint my eyes to see was my chin and nose. The pimples were inflammed and looked even worse. (I could be imagining that with the sudden disappointment, though) I decided that it might be temporary, and went to bed. Wrong. When I gazed in the mirror that morning, I was devistated. My chin (which is by far my worst acne area) was inflammed and glowing red, practically. Another new bugger was present, also. My nose wasn't as bad. I really only have one or two pimples on the sides of my nose, hiding them mainly. But my nose was rough feeling, looking slightly red as well. My cheeks were rough and felt like the equivelent of sand-paper, maybe. It was awful. I stopped using the product - switched to green tea and aloe vera - and have seen a dramatic result. I currently have two big volcanos on my chin, mainly from hormones and stress, but those are aready decreasing in size, I've noticed. All in all - I won't buy it again. It's a terrible product with harsh chemicals that caused my skin to worsen.
