Pros:

This cleanser is not the best on the Neutrogena line but it DOES in fact help clear the skin of all dirt-filled pores. It cleanses each pore and washes out the dirt leaving clear, soft skin.

Cons:

This product MUST be used twice a day (only if your skin is not sensitive). It does not prevent pimples, although it cleanses them well if you apply it to them when they are opened. Dryness does in fact occur.

Although dryness is sometimes a result, clear skin is right behind. Dryness of skin after applying to the face only results because of certain skin types. So many people complain about products. Why not be grateful for so many to choose from? It ALL depends on YOUR TYPE OF SKIN. If it is sensitive, go to your doctor. If it's carefree, experiment with it. Once you find the perfect product, stick with it and it'll stick with you. Neutrogena products are popular because scientifically and because of surveying it seems to help with the majority of people's skin types. Although some it might harm, overall it's effectiveness is positive.

Pros:

Smelled ok and it's neutrogena

Cons:

Dried my skin out way too much!!

I heard this product worked but it just didn't work for me! I used it for two days on the third day my skin, was seriously dry I had tiny little pimples around my mouth and at the bottom of my cheeks. Wont be using it again as I'm too scared the same thing will happen, and didn't like the dryness!!

Ive had mild to moderate acne for about 3 years now and no soap has worked this well before. Ive been using it for about 2 weeks now and I already have seen a huge difference in the way my face feels and looks. My breakouts are occuring less and does a great job of ridding existing blemishes. Try not to rub in for to long as it will make your face pretty dry, but I would recommend this product to anyone.

Pros:

Cleans oils
Leaves face feeling fresh
Helped dry out some of my acne

Cons:

Doesn't clear all the acne
I still continued to get pimples while using the product.

I've been using it for about 3wks so far, and it seems to have dried out some of the acne but not all. I like how it leaves my skin feeling fresh. I use it about 2-3 times a day. Every morning in the shower, and at night before going to bed. Sometimes mid day. I haven't tried to many skin care products becasue i'm scared of the aftermath once i stop using the product. i haven't stopped using this and i'm going to continue it for another 2 months, i'm going to give it a chance. i read more bad reviews on Proactive so i'm sticking to Neutrogena.

Pros:

Comes in a colorful tube

Cons:

Made my face red

I was using murad, and when the cleanser ran out I bought this. I don't like the smell first of all. Look, I want a face wash, not a perfume. It made my face redder than when I used murad's cleanser.
