Be careful of their shelf life.
I've had some of these in my desk at work and at some knock off brands in my purse. I have used them in the past with no problems - and haven't used them frequently in some time. Yesterday or the day before, I used one of these from my drawer at the office - and then when I got home, I found that I had broke out with a cyst up on my forehead (I never, ever breakout on my forehead) and then about an hour later, another cyst on my chin. Two complete separate areas. The only thing I could think of (besides hormones) that had changed in my regimen with my skin was I had used one of these sheets (and I dab them all over my face, mostly my forehead that gets shiny). I'm guessing that these caused me to suddenly break out - I have had clear skin for months (on Dan's acne products) and haven't had cystic acne in ages - even hormonal around the time of my period. This was very out of the blue. I got to looking after realizing the only different thing I'd done was use these sheets - and looked if there was a possible expiration date? Since I have used these in the past with no issues at all. I couldn't find any expiration date on the item itself, but after googling - I found some packages for sale (of these exact ones) wrapped in their original plastic (like if they come straight from the factory) and they DO - indeed have expiration dates! They say "SHELF LIFE: 3 YEARS". So be aware of how old your absorbing sheets/blotting sheets are. Mine had a manufacturing date of 2009 and another from 2011. Both expired by their expiration date. They do contain mineral oil - and I tried to research if that expires, but most sites said "No" because of how processed it is. Either way - these items DO have a shelf life - just be aware. I believe this is what broke me out suddenly.

Pros:

Really does remove oil from your skin.

Cons:

The price is just a bit too pricey for me, I wish they would lower it.

These oil absorbing sheets do really work. At night, my face feels very oily- especially my forehead and after I use a sheet my face feels oil free. However, I then begin noticing some dry spots on my face and skin flakes. Yuck.

Pros:

Does NOT remove my makeup.

Cons:

My face still feels a bit oily after even though nothing is going on the pad.

I use them for emergencies only. Not a 100% necessity. Nice to have on the road or at a long shift at work.

Pros:

gets all of the oils off your face, which makes you feel cleaner afterwards, (i dont really know why, lol) my face just feels lighter and refreshed after using one

Cons:

just the price, but hey, the prices we pay to fix our faces :-)

TRY IT!! I love it. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and I feel much better about myself. Its waaay better than trying to wipe away the oil with your hands, which I used to do when I was around people or before someone would take my picture....

Pros:

Helps get rid of shine mid day, affordable, small and easy to carry in purse

Cons:

Doesn't keep shine away for a long time after use

I have been using these sheets for years now, especially when I was in high school for mid day touch ups. While it doesn't eliminate oils for the rest of the day after using one, it helps take away shine without rubbing off all your makeup. Applying a pressed powder after using an oil absorbing sheet helps keep shine away for longer.

Pros:

Gets rid of all the oil without messing with makeup. Skin feels dry and smooth and clean afterward.

Cons:

Maybe a little pricey, and awkward to use in public (the sheet becomes kind of greasy, can see how much oil was on your face).

Amazing if you have oily skin.

Pros:

It was free...

Cons:

Too thin.

First of all, thank goodness I didn't waste anymore on it to try it, I got the sample. When I tried it, I felt as though it was too thin, so after it's used, you're holding your oil in your hand, and that's so icky. Maybe I have too oily skin...but it just didn't work for me.

Pros:

Gets rid of oil on entire face with just one sheet. I usually go through 2-3 sheets a day.

Cons:

Makes your face a little read after using it.

Its a ggod product and it will definitly work for anybody. You can always buy the knockoff brand and save 2 bucks as well.
