Amazing regimen for face
I have suffered from acne since very long & tried various products to get rid of it but nothing worked . Then I came across caveman regimen & tried it.
I wash my face with only water in the morning basically just let water running through my face . I have been doing this from more than a month. At beginning days, face got oily but slowly oil got balanced. It got little worse before getting fine so don't worry & drink lots of water & maintain healthy diet. Also not touch your face at all.
So in between I got pimples like currently I have few because I used a homemade facial scrub which was my mistake . Other than that I have lots of acne scars. But I will continue washing my face with only water. Update 17-2-2017
So I have been continuously doing this regimen & it is working really well. I do get some pimples here & there but not as big as I got before doing this regimen. Plus point is they got heel within a day or two. The only change I made with this regimen is that I started washing my face twice with water instead of once in a day. One thing I would like to mention here is if you are reading this & wanna try this method is don't touch your face ever. When you have to wash your face with water, wash your hands first with soap properly. I'll continue doing this regimen in future also.
Update 6 September 2017
I am still doing this regimen and it's still working. But now I wash my face with salted water. I don't use any facewash or soap on my face.

Gonna try it....why not.
Seems I have been forced into using only water seeing as everything else I've used doesn't work. So starting today I used only water. I DO want to use moisturizer, but it may be the moisturizer breaking me out. So if I just use the water for about a week and my skin clears up, I'll know it was the facial cleansing products-- and after a week I will go back to water only and introduce a moisturizer-- and if my face starts breaking out, i'll know it's the moisturizer. Either way it goes I think I'll just stick to water only for a while to see if this will calm my acne down, and, ultimately, eliminate it. A bit about my face: acne acne acne everywhere....and did I mention more acne? It's not accutane severe, but it's severe to me. I get acne mostly on my cheeks...like they loooooove it there, the area where a unicorn horn would be, a colony on my forehead, some on the chin, and then a village on my back. They tried to habitate my neck and I'm like no...just no. We'll see what happens. :) :( :) :( :) :( :)

Using only water is actually a miracle.
So, I'm a 21 year old male who throughout my teenage years did not suffer with acne at all. But recently I have stopped exercising (gym) and my diet is not as clean as it should be. Past few months I have broke out on my left side of my cheek and my right side is as clean as ever not one pimple in sight. I've started using sudocreme on that one left side etc, and many more of these products. But after a few months of using these I'm 100% sure that the left side is getting worse whereas I look on my right side and there's still no pimple in sight. To conclude, I'm just going to leave my face alone now. No sudocreme in the night and just chuck Luke warm water over my face in the morning and in the night. I'm pretty sure cleansers and all that skin routine just doesn't work for Men?

I want to try it
I basically started today....
My current skin condition: a few burned patches caused by my recklessness because I used a harsh acne treatment on my face after an acne mask. I woke up with big, raw skin patches on both of my cheeks. Currently I am using Avene cicalfate on them and I see an improvement.
Small red bumps, 3 on my forehead and 2 on my right cheek and 2 whiteheads on my cheeks. My skin is combination and right now I'm close to my period and my exams so I'm kind of stressed...
That's what I want to do: wash my face only with water in the morning a few times per week and a mild exfoliation (yogurt with nutmeg) once a week or every two weeks.
Will it work?....
I really need an answer because my skin is in a rather good condition now (except for the burns) and I'm afraid of having to deal with a worse form of acne again....

Cons:
Soap in needed to get rid of makeup and can dry out skin but my drinking plenty of water and putting honey on my face it works wonders.
I have always used lots of cleansers from clearisil to neutrogena and none of them worked so I decided to sttop and use really diluted soap with warm water in morning and night. This has been a more natural approach to getting rid of spots and has actually worked. I don't feel cleansers and exfoliators are neccesary at all. I wash my face with diluted soap, exfoliate and dry with a towel in a circular motion put honey on my face for as long as i have time (an hour + a day) and drink 8 glasses of water a day. It's the best resulot i have seen in 4 years.

Pros:
Cheap and easy
I wash my face with a pea size amount of purpose gentle cleanser once a week.

Pros:
Not time consuming
Always available
Cons:
Did not wash off oil
Did not help with acne
When other people can wash with just water and have no acne, that's fantastic, but if you have an acne problem, water probably will not do it for you. It doesn't get rid of the oil your skin naturally produces (I have an oily nose that looks shiny when I wake up in the morning, and water DOES NOT get rid of oil, read any science textbook). It doesn't clear acne. And the quality of water in all parts of the world varies wildly - even though it is tested 3 times a day in most of the US, that doesn't mean water is the same everywhere. I washed my face with water per my mother's instructions my whole life until one day in my tween years I looked at my face and saw that it was doing nothing for me - I was breaking out everywhere and water was not solving it. Even today, after the wild fluctuation of tween/teen hormones, I would not consider going back to water - it just doesn't get off makeup or oil, and that's just not enough for the modern American.

Pros:
I feel that this is the best method ever. At first it's scary cuz you feel like you're not washing your face good enough but if you just get a really light face wash like a clean & clear deep cleanser and some moisturizer, it's amazing. Also drinking a lot of water helps a ton. I recommend it!!
With a light face wash and moisturizer, it works wonders. My face hasn't looked any better.
Pros:
Inexpensive, works brilliantly
