Does not fit with the regimen

If you are on the regimen, this moisturizer isn't the right one. When I applied it after the BP, it started burning and stinging. I tried applying this moisturizer for 4 days but the burning sensation never vanished. Throwed away the bottle.

A literal life saver!!!!!
This lotion, after six months is one i still use everyday and it makes your complexion so smooth with such a little amount especially when you're on the regimen. I saw no breakouts when i made the switch and i continue to see none after using it for so long

Not identical to the Cerave PM facial moisturizer
Just an FYI- i see a ton of ppl saying this is identical to the Cerave PM facial moisturizer-- it is not. The facial moisturizer has Niacinamide in the main first ingredients, which is an extremely beneficial vitamin for skin. I know a lot of folks like using this, but I recommend using moisturizers made specifically for the face--- on the face. This does not say its a facial moisturizer anywhere on the bottle, and i think Cerave created ones for the face for that specific reason. Just because ingredients listed are close and the same, doesnt mean its identical and formulated for the face vs. the body. Also want to add, over the ten years Ive used DKR's BP etc... ive learned that just bc a product has a highly listed and ranked comedogenic ingredient doesnt necessarily mean you'll have a bad experience or that you shouldnt try it. It may give you no issues-- everyones skin is different. One of the daily moisturizers Id been using for years had Isopropyl Isostearate as the main ingredient which is one of the highest comedogenic ingredients-- never gave me issues. I had no idea until I looked on here but had used it for years- no issues. So dont be afraid to try things to see if they may work for you. Just some thougts!

Good quality lightweight moisturizer

Pros:

No/Low scent
Not greasy
Very moisturizing

Cons:

Reacts slightly with BP

I've recently begun on the Regimen and started before I had a quality moisturizer. My skin was getting REALLY dry and I wanted to get rid of the visual effects of the hardening of the BP. The moisturizer I was using just wasn't cutting it, so I went out and got this one. After about 3 days my skin is almost back to it's normal moisture levels. It's not greasy though may not be heavy duty enough for the depths of winter. It hasn't caused breakouts or clogged pores. The Glycerin does react slightly with the BP on my face creating some mild tingling or burning if my skin is in bad shape but it fades.

Great.

Pros:

Moisturizes
Doesn't clog my pores.
Not thick.

Cons:

Your skin can look greasy the first 45 minutes after applied.

Best lotion I've tried. Works best as a night moisturizer in my opinion.

Leaves a sticky feeling

Pros:

Moisturizes

Cons:

Leaves sticky feeling

I like that this lotion is lightweight feeling on my face. It is effective in moisturizing my face but it seems like no matter how little I use, it always leaves a sticky feeling on my face. I don't even use half a pump.

Pros:

Good moisturizer

Cons:

Cannot use with BP!

It's a great moisturizer while you are off the regimen, however if you put bp on your face before applying this moisturizer it turn really thick and won't spread very well. Force spreading will cause irritation.

Pros:

amazing .... after using Cetaphil and it burning my face off in conjunction with Epiduo ... its making my skin look the best it ever has. Its not greasy at all and I feel it actually absorbs into skin instead of laying on top

Cons:

Pros:

moisturizes well
soaks in
easy to apply

Cons:

burns when using certain acne meds

ok so i have used this product on both realms of skin. i used it before acne meds and during . before it was a wonderful moisturizer. you only needed a little and it went a long way , it was light, and felt good on my skin. during acne meds the burning was so absolutely incredible that as soon as i applied the lotion i burst out screaming and in tears. mind you i have a very high pain tolerance. i however have EXTREMELY sensitive skin. so this is a product that demonstrates perfectly that all products are different for everyone

Pros:

Goes on smooth
Doesn't irritate skin
non-greasy

Cons:

None

This is my favorite of several moisturizers that I've tried. The ingredients are pretty good; I don't believe it's led to breakouts. I am a male and use Dan's BP, which dries out my skin a bit. I've relied on this moisturizer quite a bit to help repair the dry skin, and am pleased with the results. It doesn't always alleviate the flakiness, but for the price you can't beat it.
