Pros:

It is thick which means it goes a long way and it seems to help dry skin a lot. It works well if spread out thinly and does not clog pores or cause more acne on my skin and I have mild/moderate acne.

Cons:

Can be shiny if applied too thickly or depending on your skin type - its fine for me unless I put it on my nose then it looks really shiny. Some people may not like how thick it is. Sometimes does not stop all the flakes first time.

It is a solid product that is oil free, and very gentle, it has some trouble, being oil free, at keeping the flakes at bay but reapplying it twice usually gets it all for me and my skin flakes a lot. Its very gentle although rubbing your face to get it absorbed and spread out thinly can cause some redness.

Pros:

lightweight, fragrance free, affordable

i have tried every product you can think of to get rid of my acne. i have went to a dermatologist who only gave me products that made my skin worse....made me think 'why would he want my skin to get clear, then he wouldnt have my $'. i have started washing my face with dove soap & afterward i put cetaphil lotion. nothing else. since i've been on this simple routine i have one zit. i usually have at least 5 or 6 just on my jawline alone. this product is great.

Pros:

its not the best but ok, i recomend getting DK Mosterizer

Pros:

I usually have very dry skin in the winter, but since using this my skin hasn't been dry at all. Also, you only need to use a little bit, so the bottle lasts a very long tim.

Cons:

The problem is, it makes my skin so very oily. I use half a squirt to a full squirt and I get so oily I have to blot my skin at least 2 or 3 times during the day. I'm going to have to witch to something else becasue of that.

I like it but it makes me too oily. The con outweighs the pros here, unforunately. But, give it a try and see how it is on your skin, because it does moisturize very well.

Pros:

Feel hydrated! Glowing, when applied.

Cons:

Only moisturise at that moment when you applied but when you wash off it just goes like that. Because it doesnt contain benefits. It contains oil. Yup! when you put oil on your face ofcourse your face will moisturise but only AT THAT MOMENT! when you wash off your face still the same. Because there arent nutrients absorb by your face.

The truths.

Pros:

definitely moisturizes, and never leaves skin feeling irritated. Good if you have DRY DRY SKIN

Cons:

you can feel like you have something there (meaning, its not light, it feels almost like a mask). Claimed not to clog pores but did clog mine. (I have combo skin)

this site is called ACNE.ORG for a reason people! And truth is (esp for the ladies) if you wear this under makeup, it will definitely clog your pores. I recently checked the ingredients and compared it to a list of "comedogenic agents" that i found on the internet this site is called ACNE.ORG for a reason people! And truth is (esp for the ladies) if you wear this under makeup, it will definitely clog your pores. I recently checked the ingredients and compared it to a list of "comedogenic agents" that i found on the internet [link removed]>and it in fact DOES contain a few. I also noticed that if i used this days in a row for long days, i will get one or 2 blackheads. However, it definitely moisturizes. Its totally up to your skin type, but i wouldn't buy this for my face, maybe body.

Pros:

Moisturizes the best of any moisturizer I have ever used.
GREAT price! Only $11 for a huge 16oz bottle!
Completely unscented.

Cons:

Only problem I have is it doesn't glide on perfectly easy, its like its a hair too thick, but if thats the price I pay for perfectly smooth skin then I am more than willing to take that!

Simply the best moisturizer I have ever used. I have tried Complex 15, Murad Skin Perfecting Lotion, and AcneFree Moisturizer, each for consistent months of time. Recently starting Dan's Regimen has left me with dry, peeling skin. Well at least before I used Cetaphil it was! I was on Complex 15 for a full year, and all through Dan's Regimen thus far, but it always left me with dry skin. Now, after just my 3rd application, Cetaphil has given me smooth, moisturized skin with no peeling or drying!

Pros:

You get a lot for what you pay. Moisturizes well.....for me.

Cons:

Eventually there will be a couple of days that this doesnt moisturize very well. It makes my face dry and red. Dont know why.
Leaves your face greasy.

Its an alright product. This is the only mousturizer I would use over my BP.

Pros:

Works well in controlling flakiness in conjunction with Dan's regimen

Cons:

Pretty greasy and feels weird when applying

I use this at night because it's so greasy on my face. It's the only product that controls the flakiness. During the day I use Neutrogena's oil free moisture with a drop or two of jojoba oil. This combination seems to do the trick for my sensitive skin which is flakier than I would have expected on the Regimen.

Pros:

Relatively cheap, doesn't burn or irritate your skin

Cons:

It is oily and doesn't absorb well into your skin - it leaves a shiny oily film

I always used Cetaphil because I thought it was the simplest and gentlest product out there. HOWEVER, I never realized that IT HAS OIL IN IT aka it is NOT oil-free. I was really surprised and when I switched to an oil free moisturizer I immediately noticed the difference. I would recommend that anyone with acne prone skin should look for something that is OIL FREE.
