Tried it today for the first time
I got the "travel size"kit to try out. I don't have acne really, I am prone to clogged pores. I tried the cleanser and moisturizer for the first time today and I can tell Im going to like it. It's yellow because the ingredient Licochalcone is a licorace derivative that helps to fade dark marks. I have melasma and this ingredient is pretty hard to find in Canada, especially in a concentration you can see. I don't know what everyone else is talking about it when they describe it as "greasy". I think a lot of the more popular moisturizers such as Cerave and cetaphil are terribly greasy and pore clogging. I think I am going to love this stuff. I always do best with the stuff most don't.

please help
Today is my third day of this regimen, my skin is too oily, I never use moisturizer before (whenever i did, I got acne). This moisturizer is too emulsive and feels sticky on my skin. (only using one pump). I got 2 more acne because of this on the first day, what should I do? I can't skip this step as it's too early plus BP is drying out my skin. Please suggest.. Do I need to find an alternate? Thanks

It is normal to get few pimples at the beginning of your treatment. If the moisturizer is not good for you try something else that suits your skin.

Pretty good stuff
I want to rate this 5 stars as I have Daniel's other face products however it's not perfect. It gives my skin a cooling refreshing feeling after application however it doesn't fully hydrate my skin. I think it works differently for everyone as everyone's skin has it's own profile. I add six drops of Jojoba oil to it in the morning and 8 drops at night which significantly helps with flakiness. One thing I've figured out is that if I use just half a pump of Olay's moisturizer with SPF 15 in the morning and this product fully at night using Daniel's method, my face becomes fully hydrated and flake free over the course of a week. I highly recommend giving this technique a try if you still struggle with dryness and flakiness after using this.

ITCHY, RASHY, BREAKING OUT - FAIL
I was really looking forward to using Dan's products but unfortunately my skin hasn't taken very well to the moisturiser. Immediately after putting it on i felt a tingle and slight itchiness but didn't want to think much of it to give up on it straight away. So i decided to try it again the next morning and again the same reaction, but worse. It got to the point where i just decided to wash it completely off my face because it was so itchy. I also noticed the morning after using this moisturiser i broke out for the first time in a while with little whiteheads. NO GOOD, i will not be using this again and sadly it will be going straight into the rubbish. Prior to using this moisturiser i was using Cetaphil moisturising cream with no problems and i have gone back to that immediately in hopes of soothing some of the irritation Dan's moisturiser seems to have caused. ARGH!

Moisturizer should Replenish the moisture and nutrients of the skin...not to make it dry, red, flaky, and itchy :(
I've been using the regimen for 4 weeks now. For 2 weeks my face is at worst. Red, flaky, and itchy. On the 3rd week i expected that the peeling, redness will be gone but nope...didn't happen :( my acne cleared up a bit though so i know that the regimen is working. I went back to the website to read reviews and see if there is something wrong about the regimen or good advices to do to improve my skin condition. I read reviews about how bad the moisturizer is so for 3 days, I decided not to use the moisturizer and find an alternative moisturizer. My red flaky, itchy skin got better and my acne is getting better. No more new breakouts. My advice... Use the cleanser and the BP and ditch the moisturizer. It's just bad :(

Which moisturizer are you using?

Oily but not moisturizing! Takes too long to absorb! Yellow!
As many are reporting, this moisturizer is really oily (because of the great amount of jojoba oil in it) and it leaves the skin all day long shining and feeling so greasy. Moreover, like many others, I felt it not moisturizing enough! The yellow color gave such a funny tan on my face that everybody asked me if I had been on a holiday! After seeing the contrast with my neck, they believed I weren't and thought maybe something else had happened to me. Unlike the description, I guess too much jojoba oil breaks me out, that is however individual since everyone's skin is different. So, I switched to another moisturizer by Eucerin and things are getting better now!

I will not buy this again
The first problem when i started using this moisturizer was the matte color that it leaves on my skin (i have a very light skin), it wasn't really a problem until the week 4 when my skin started to become more dry and the flakiness out of control, 2 full pumps with 6 drops of jojoba oil wasn't enough for me anymore, i started to use it more than 4 times in the day (and my skin was still dry) it takes A LOT to absorb and i dont have so much time in the morning because of the school, my skin color was like i put mustard on my face, everyone asking me what happened with my skin or if i were on a holiday... I started to search for a new moisturizer and i found the Avène - Clean-AC Hydrating Cream for people who are on an acne treatment and the reviews that i found were good so i bough it, the first day was OK but in the second day it burned my skin, if it wasn't for the burn i will 100% recommend the avene moisturizer because it worked perfect in the hydration and the flakiness and it doesn't leaves the skin shiny but you guys can try it and see if it works on you. Now im searching again a new moisturizer, please recommend me one if you are on the regimen and you arent using dan ´s moisturizer.

Pros:

None, really. Seems to work for others.

Cons:

-Stained my pillowcases permanently- and yes, I gave it plenty of time to dry/soak in (30 minutes).
-Broke me out again, after my skin was looking so much better on the regimen.

I'd been using the Olay with sunscreen for sensitive skin that is recommended, which worked great but wasn't quite moisturizing enough with the regimen. Switched to this even though there were some negative reviews...which I am adding to. Waste of money and a couple of pillowcases, although I've wasted plenty in my search for stuff to clear my skin- so I was prepared for the fact that this might not work.

Cons:

Takes A While To Dry I Guess
Doesn't Work For Several People

I started Master Dans final regime with his sacred products about 4 weeks ago. I bought the cleanser and the treatment but decided to use other moisturizers since Dans new moisturizer was rated low by a vast amount of critics. The cleanser and treatment wreaked havoc on my acne. I was only trying to reduce my acne to just one or two bumps but it was unmerciful. I want my acne back because I'm so used to it. Anywho, about 1 weeks into the final regime I was skeptical about the CeraVa moisturizer I was using, and after watching Master Dans video on why the new moisturizer is superior to the old on I decided to give this (Dan crafted) cream a try. I started to break out again during week twoish. Then I got my new moisturizer. I was expecting it to not moisturize enough. I used two pumps of everything (cleanser, treatment, and moisturizer). To my surprise Dans moisturizer was very moisturizing. Also it made my skin a lot softer and less red. I was very angry that it worked because so many people hate it? As long as you follow Dans guidelines to the letter then i don't understand why it wouldn't work. To all the you critics who were negatively impacted by this product, rethink what you're doing. Are you waiting until the treatment FULLY dries before moisturizing. Have you giving your skin time to get use to the new moisturizer (I didn't have to though). Are you going out into the sun for too long? Are you itching your face? Are you this thickly applying it and letting it air dry? In conclusion I'd like to say that I've suffered from Acne for a long time. If you are suffering from it and want advice, support, or just someone to talk to give shoot me an email at overseerjames@[link removed] I will not judge you and I know what it feels like to have tried everything. By the way, I'm a 17 year old male with hormonal acne from high testosterone and very oily skin if anyone was interested.
