Pros:

Can literally feel the little micro beads cleaning out your pores.

Cons:

REALLY REALLY dries out your skin, especially the area around your eyes such your eye lid.

It gets rid of acne but after a while skin starts peeling off of your skin in flakes. I had to stop using the medication and switch to something else that has a natural moisturizer.

Pros:

This stuff is great for exfoliating, wich is essential, my skin will thicken like leather if I dont. It leaves a nice glow, sloughs dead skin cells, leaves your skin looking fresh, brighter, and squeaky clean.

Cons:

If used too often, it will leave your skin red and irritated, I dont have sensitive skin. It is VERY course, so you must be GENTLE! It didnt clear up my active break outs, but it did leave an overall brightness and healthy glow on my good skin area.

I've had active adult acne for the past 10 years. (I'm 30), and not just 2-3 pimples at a time, but huge bottomless pores filled with gunk (ugh)Use this as an exfoliant a few times a week, it does make an improvement in that your skin isnt thick and leathery, which leads to more break outs and deep acne. It leaves your face feeling fresh and squeaky clean, smells great too. This product should be used as PART of your regimine and not as the only source (if you have moderate acne),also I dont recommend it as a daily cleanser, as it is harsh and over time, due to excess peeling, can leave your face looking like you took a chemical bath. Also its important to moisturize after you skin has recovered from the abrasive washing. Overall, I think this product is great for the price and the functionality it provides as a medicated exfoliant..(who needs costly home microdermabrasion kits at $30 plus a pop when this stuff does the trick at just $2.50!)

Pros:

It is reallly great it clears up acne for a while! This product is well worth buying!

Cons:

None. Well not really.

I have been using the Non Medicated formula and that worked great too. But yesterday as I was walking throught Wal-Mart I noticed there was a differnt formula so I had to get it! I have Sensitive skin and I leave this on for 1 min and it still works. All I have to say this is the most greatest acne product ever!

Pros:

Great scrub! Clears pores, removes makeup, leaves skin fresh! Fantastic for body acne or folliculitis/ingrown hairs!

Cons:

Can irritate inflamed zits if you scrub too hard. Contains salicylic acid... but this is the one salicylic acid product that does not make my skin worse! Price raised from $2.50 to $3.50 since new packaging, but still best product for the money!

I've used this scrub for years. I used to stop sometimes to try "better" or "gentler" products, and they were always more expensive and less effective. It will not completely prevent acne alone, so you do need to use a topical medication such as BP, but it is great for keeping skin fresh and clean. Sometimes when my skin is being overly sensitive I switch to using it only at night. It can be drying so I usually follow up by washing with Cetaphil. Great combination! The thing that I have been most thrilled with, though, is that since I started using this to scrub areas where I frequently have horrible, unsightly ingrown hairs- armpits, bikini area, etc.- the problem has cleared up completely! If, like me, you suspect that your worst breakouts are due to folliculitis (acne-like bumps you get in areas where you shave or tweeze) more than acne, give this a try! Keeping the hair follicles clean and clear may very well solve the problem.
