Pros:

Easy to use
1 step

Cons:

doesn't work well on it's own
dries the skin a bit

Combined with popping the pimples (and extracting all the pus) with a metal tool this brought my mild-moderate acne down to a minimum within 2 weeks. It is almost completely gone and i am very happy with the results. On it's own it doesn't work well, with a scrub it works ok but it's slow. Can't give 5 stars as it doesn't work well on it's own.

Pros:

I used it for a couple monthes. I had a positive outlook from reviews but i guess it just didnt work for me, but it does wipe oil off so i use it after physocal activity to clean my face till i shower the oils off

Cons:

did not really change my acne or pores.

If you work out or run and sweat, this should prevent the grime from your exercise causing you to break out till you can take a shower or cleanse your face.

Pros:

- Alot of product for one pad.
- Helps clear & prevent breakouts
- Convenient. Plus they give you a coupon on Stridex products, making this even cheaper!

Cons:

- CAN be drying
- Does sting a bit
- I cannot use it TOO frequently (twice a day for a sustained period of time) because it drys my skin

I used this in conjunction with a knockoff (like Target brand) of Neutrogena oil-free acne wash. I wash my face then use one of these pads all over, especially to trouble areas. Use a GOOD moisturizer. Sometimes I use this only 4 or so times a week, to give my skin a break. Also worked GREAT for me on back blemishes.

Pros:

A few years ago, i noticed i got a pimple so parents gave me stridex and made most of it go away so i started using it everyday. But when i ran out of it i started getting more white heads. But i started using it again, and have very little acne.

Cons:

It might not make all of the acne go away, but it still works. But it may cause dry skin.

If you have very little acne, i reccomend you to try this.

Amazing for those with oily skin!
I have started using this product a week ago and have been noticing that now I do not wake up with a face full of oil, wanting to wash my face immediately. I also noticed that in the day, my face feels less greasy than usual. This pads also helped remove my pimple really quick. I had a small pimple at the side of my nose which formed a head and disappeared within 2-3 days! As for skin pigmentation, I wouldn't be too quick to judge as these takes much longer than a week to see changes. My regimen now is use a gentle face wash followed by the salicylic acid pad, benzoyl peroxide on affected areas and then moisturise my entire face. Yes, this can be a little drying but I feel the drying effect is not as bad as the benzoyl peroxide. I only use the pads once, at most twice a day.

Pros:

doesn't dry out skin
quick absorption

Cons:

Didn't notice an improvement

After trying many products, I determined Salicylic Acid doesn't help my acne (BP does though). I could see this helping light acne.

Pros:

none

Cons:

irritated my skin, leaves film on skin

i guess this works for some people, but for me, it makes my skin feel irritated. it puts a layer of scummy residue on my face that makes me dry and constricted and has me immediately wash with soap and moisturize.

Pros:

Easy to use. heads. Great at preventing new pimples. Removes all facial scum (oil, dead skin, ect.) Easy to use (has a soft side and rougher side!). Barely stings/burns at all (definitely the least I have ever felt). Drys quickly. Very affordable!

Cons:

May dry your skin occasionally, but any good moisturizer eliminates this problem. Container has sorta small width. Has a smell, but I never noticed it when applied. Doesn't do much for cystic acne (BP works great for that though!)

This a very effective and easy to use product. So far in my 4 year battle with acne, this is the best I have used at preventing acne and treating current pimples. Keep in mind that I have been through many products, such as TriClear, Proactiv, Murad Acne System, AcneFree, and many other over the counter products. In my opinion, the perfect regimen is: 1- Wash with Dan's face wash 2- Stridex pad soft side on over face and neck 3- Dan's BP Gel on affected areas (or all over) 4- Complex 15 moisturizer on face and neck To quell what many have said below, this product is NOT harsh on your skin if you know what you are doing. You MUST use a gentle face wash (such as Dan's or Clean & Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser) and you MUST use a moisturizer (such as Complex 15). You will not have dry skin if you do this. Also, this product doesn't burn on the skin, and if it does for you, use the soft textured side and wipe in soft strokes.
