Pros:

Works, also try lemon juice as topical works wonders.

Cons:

none to daye

For those of you who experience teeth sensitivity, brush your teeth after you drink it. If you can just swish water around your mouth. The basic solution of toothpaste will neutralize the acidic solution of lemon. It is bad for the teeth if you do not do anything so do either two. Don't over do it, one lemon a day. I found out drinking more causes digestion problems and all sorta urination complications. And also try lemon juice as a topical medication, during your sleep. If you do it during the day the sun will burn your skin more. It has helped me, doesnt dry out your skin like BP, no long term irritaion (mild sting), cheap and is as or more affective then expensive medication.

Pros:

Um i like lemons their yellow and thats about it..

Cons:

It sucked I was drinking it for about 1 month and saw abosoutely no difference.

Try it you have nothing to lose. Some other stuff that I have tried that have worked from my friends are: hydrogen peroxide, honey masks, egg masks, baking soda used as a cleanser, calamine lotion, and the aspirin mask. Peace having acne sucks I know but all we can really do is to keep trying to find out what is good for us everybody is different.

Pros:

i just started like literally 3 days ago and im hoping my blemishes will go away but i reli think it will work because my mum has a friend who has been doing this for years like 7 years and she has reli nice skin and reli shiny hair

Cons:

so far its the fact that the lemons so sour that im finding it hard to ajust to the tast as i have a very sweet tooth

i think if u want this to work you have to really stick with it i know that after 7 years the lemon must of worked cas if it didnt i think my mums friend would of quit by now but she has got reli nice skin and teeth so im giving it a go and im hoping it is true

Cons:

Doesnt do anything
Causes diseases?

It didnt work for me. I've got mild acne, and drikning lemon juice really didnt change anything. And it's so sour to drink! And bad for your teeth. Some say it's good for your health, others say the opposite. Whether it's causing an alkaline or acidid effect in the body seems to be uncertain. During the time I drank lemon juice, my joints started to hurt like hell. I searched the internet and discovered that citrus fruit, acording to some, can cause gout (and some say it cures it, wth tbh lol). I stopped drinking this some days ago, and the pain in my joints seems to be going away. It's great that it works for some. But it really didnt work for me. :)

Pros:

Lemon water taste good. Lemons contain a wonderful supply of vitamin C and aides in proper digestion.

Cons:

Lemons are not the least expensive fruit, but that's ok.

This is a part of my whole new skin regimine, thanks to acne.org. I drink a hot cup of lemon water twice daily. I put 1t sugar and let it cool down until not too hot.

i began applying lemon topically the last few nites to a few blemishes, and they've started to dry them up overnight. After reading the board today I've decided to drink the juice as well...soo I'll see how it works =)

Pros:

hmm seems ok

Cons:

no cons yet

hmm intersting, i have read that natural lemon juice is effective at detoxifiying the body, although i have also heard that sour foods..eg lemons are quite bad for acne, so i guess ill give it a try. it quite frustraiting that there is so much contradicitve information out there. this is completely irelevant but i thought id say- antioxidants are good for the skin right? but products like bp use oxygen to kill the bactiria that causes acne, they oxygenate the skin and acne cannot live in an oxygenated environment.. soo is oxygen good or bad for your skin??
