Pros:

WORKS!

Cons:

Tooth Sensitivity

Something really important that I didnt see posted on here yet in the other comments is that too much lemon juice can be harmful. DO NOT EXCEED ONE FULL LEMON PER DAY. I rotate 7 days on a half lemon and the next only every second day and then resume back to 7 days.

Pros:

Cheap, Effective

Cons:

Can taste like #$@%

It works. You have to clean everything up from the inside..that's why it works so well. The taste sucks, but if you hate your zits you'll get over it. I use about 3 tablespoons in an 8 oz. glass of tap water..it works. Do it now. Doesn't have to be fresh lemons, by the way. Buy a bottle of Realemon, or whatever brand of bottled lemon juice is available to you.

Pros:

Not only did it make my skin clearer, but it made me skin glow and look healthy. I guess it's because it sorta of detoxifies you. However, use it with other treatments for the ultimate effect.

Cons:

NOTHING!!!!!

It should be an everday drink just because of its benefits not only for the skin. Drink plenty of it. there is a cleanse called "the master cleanse" and you don't eat anything and all you drink for a few days is 1 lemon per glass of water....the result are anything but amazing!!!!!!!! i recommend this to anyone.

Pros:

tastes great, good for you

Cons:

can harm the enamel on your teeth, saw no effect on acne

I love lemon juice, freshly squeezed and drink it all the time, added to tea, hot water, or cold water. It might help stave off colds but I've never seen a difference on my acne. Perhaps this is because my own acne appears to be hormonal in nature, but in my case, no results.

Pros:

Tastes great, deeefinitely helped acne

Cons:

Bad for teeth, but this can be avoided with a straw and drinking a bit of milk straight after

Definitely give it a try... and try putting lemon juice right on your face, too! I don't even use my expensive prescriptions anymore :)

Limited effect
When I first started drinking lemon water it seemed to clear up my skin completely. But I've now been drinking half a lemon in warm water for the past few years and I've had regular breakouts regardless. I think the intitial improvements were due to other factors and/or the placebo effect. I still drink it because I think it does have a slight effect but nothing miraculous.
