Pros:

helped a ton with my acne. I tried everything, proactive, i went to get facials and bought everything they thought would help. I then went online and found the thing about lemon and water and it has worked miracles for my skin.

Cons:

Tastes really bad and to help with that i add honey. People say lemon is bad for your teeth and to balance that out i add honey (honey is good for your teeth) .

Try it! what have you got to lose! :)

Pros:

Tastes nice, Vitamin C, fresh fruit, good for the body

Cons:

Erodes tooth enamel, so my dentist told me to stop drinking lemon water. Some say to drink it with a straw to avoid touching the teeth. Whatever you do, do not brush your teeth after drinking lemon water for at least 1 hour-it will wear enamel away

Lemon and lime juice are healthy, lovely, fresh, cleansing, full of vitamins -- all wonderful. The problem is that fruit acids and other food acids (like vinegar and wine) wear away the enamel of the teeth. My tooth enamel has worn away a lot due to all the acidic foods I used to love, and there is no way to fix this (the re-enamelizing toothpastes don't really put enamel back on your teeth). The dentists say not to brush your teeth after eating anything acidic for at least one hour, to give the teeth time to stabilize before applying the brush to them. My dentist says she can see the brush strokes on the surface of the teeth - due to the acid from the OJ that I drank every morning and then brushed my teeth straight afterwards (before going to work) - it had softened my teeth that much. Please do not trust the review below where the guy says to brush your teeth right after drinking lemon water - you can never get that enamel back. Besides the teeth issue, lemons are great!

Pros:

Good Toner
Works Excellent
Fades Scars

Cons:

Can burn a little but works!!!

The key is to be consistent. I've used it for about a week and a half now and have great results. I put one tablespoon of lemon juice into water and drink about 8 glasses per day.

Pros:

It's not too expensive.

Cons:

It made my acne worse, and I hear it's bad for your teeth too. Plus it tastes horrible.

I used this for 3 whole weeks and it did nothing but make my acne worse. And like I said before, it tastes horrible and I hear it's bad for your teeth. Trying this out was a complete waste of my time, so I really don't recommend wasting your time with this terrible drink! The only thing you should do with lemon juice is pour it straight into the sink, because it's a bunch of worthless sh*t.

Pros:

Clears up acne, lightens scars.

Cons:

Bad for your tenths.

It's really effective.. I recommend starting the day with one glass of hot water and lemon juice from 1 lemon.. I've been doing this for 2 weeks and my acne is almost gone. My tip is that you wait at least 30 min after finishing the hot lemon juice before eating breakfast, to give the lemon time to remove dirt and sh*t from your liver etc..

Pros:

Clears up Acne, and you dont have to bother with face creams which make your face dry and itchy!

Cons:

None so far!

I was on Proactiv for four months and tried sooo many topical medicines for a couple years before and saw no difference in my acne. It had been increasing steadily too. I started drinking lemon juice each day a month ago and my face had no acne on it after three weeks or so. I stopped drinking it and my acne came back, now I'm drinking it again and no new pimples! This is a way to naturally get rid of your acne from forming in the first place from within instead of treating your skin to harsh chemicals.

Pros:

gives you energy, clears up skin, revs up your metabolism (hot cup of lemon water in the morning)

Cons:

wears off enamel on teeth :[

I think everybody in the world should drink one cup of hot natural lemon water a day in the morning. It jumpstarts your metabolism, giving you more energy, and the acidity in it helps clean out your liver which can lead to clear skin. So everybody, DO IT

Pros:

Tastes' great!, balances the pH in the body, cleans liver, makes me happy

Cons:

can wear down the enamel in teeth,

I buy the pre-made bottled organic lemon juice so that i don't have to mess with the lemon skin, pulp or seeds or squeezing. It's cheap Give it a shot! You really have nothing to lose
