Pros:

- PROBABLY does lighten (I would think it could)
- Cheap

Cons:

- Burns so badly
- Your face turns extremely sensitive to EVERYTHING.
- Your face hurts for a few days

I remember using this a long time ago and hating how painful it was. My face has finally been clearing from neutrogena's cream cleanser, neutrogena's all in one acne control daily scrub, and tea tree oil :D This is all I use, and for moisture I steam my face because moisturizers break me out. My face is almost 100% clear. The only thing I wanted was my scars gone tea tree oil does this great believe it or not; especially when they're red. It turns them brown and then I can finally get rid of it by lightening it up with hydroquinine to match my skin tone. Weird process huh, but it works amazingly (scars are fading ridiculously fast). So y did I try lemons in the 1st place again? I was going to drink it to clean out my body, it was here so why not try it again right? Thankfully I tested it on a small portion of my skin because omg it burns like crazy. PLEASE TEST IT 1ST IF YOU TRY IT! I then continued with my normal face routine; which is very moisturizing and gentle even without moisturizers. OMG it burned that specific area soo bad. When I used the juice I only dabbed my finger on the lemon and patted it on my face. It still burnt no matter what and today is the day after doing it, and its still ridiculously sensitive to everything, and I don't have sensitive skin at all. Just be careful when using this if u must. Use it gently and watered down. Good luck every1, and check out the products I mentioned; they wont fail u.

Pros:

Works well.

Cons:

Stings.

I know this sounds stupid, but would you actually have to have it on your face for discoloration from the sun? Or, can it happen by just using it, then washing it off and going in the sun? One reason that I'm using lemons is because I have a lemon tree and I don't want any to go to waste. P.S. I haven't really gone out in the sun yet.

Pros:

cheap, worth a shot right?

Cons:

none yet

I just tried this tonight but I used natural bottled lemon juice. I don't have any acne maybe a pimple every so often but nothing serious at all. I'm using this method to try to fade post acne marks and scars. The only thing is a lot of people on here have said that they had a stinging sensation, I didn't have that what-so-ever, I'm guessing it's just becaause I have no existing acne in that spot? But anyways I'll keep you posted, and hopefully this does the trick =)!!

Pros:

Seems to work though only been using it for a day

Cons:

stings at first but then goes away

I'm hoping this is gonna work cause I have tried everything else to clear up my acne, it seems to have dried it up a little, which is a good thing, let's pray that this is helps, if so what a cheap way of clearing acne. Worth a shot anyhow.
