Pros:

helps clear acne
helps fade marks

Cons:

stings like crazy, even when dilluted with water
Doesn't clear everything
gave me a rash

I had high hopes for this due to the reviews. I used it for about a week, and it was really starting to help clear my acne. However, I noticed that the skin on my chin had become extremely discolored and blotchy. I guess I'm just sensitive to citrus or something. It might work for you, so try it anyway.

Pros:

leaves face feeling soft and clean
helps get rid of redness
has helped a little get rid of pimples

Cons:

dries out skin slightly

I have had acne since high school. Although it didn't really start getting bad until I was nineteen. I am twenty two now. My face is always red along the top of my cheeks. People always think im blushing and its embarrassing. I have acne scars and have at at most of regular days five pimples. I have started slowly but surly weaning my skin and hair off of any 'cvs' store bought products. And I must say im not sure I will be going back anytime soon. I bought lily of the dessert after ready some aloe vera remedies for acne thinking ' oh of course! It is a healing plant, this should help' it burned my face more and dried it out terribly. So I started making this remedy Lemon juice Tomato juice Tea tree oil Apply cider vinegar I use a roughly ten ounce brown glass drop bottle It is important , I believe, to use an actual lemon and tomato Roll the lemon on a hard surface to loosen up the juice and make it easier to drain when you cut it. Cut it open and squeeze it into measuring cup ( as to make easier to poor into your glass bottle ). The with the tomato ( no need to roll it for it is already soft! ) cut it open and squeeze a little bit into the lemon juice. I do not use a all the tomato juice because I do not want it to over compensate the lemon juice. And I always enjoy eating the tomatoes while making this remedy anyhow. Put about a caps full Apply cider vinegar and a few drops of tea tree oil and shake the bottle up! Wash your hands then apply a small about of warm water onto your face. Let soak into face for about five minutes then take a wash cloth ( preferably 100 percent cotton ) put warm water on it and GENTLY wash the lemon juice remedy off. When I first started doing this I felt ( when I was washing it off ) that it felt oily and it was not getting the oils off. But after your gently pat your skin dry you will feel your skin is soft and clean. I tend to get a little dry a

Pros:

inexpensive, natural, brightening, clearing, fades redness

Cons:

stings a bit

I have had a very bad acne flare up due to using too many acne medications on my skin. My skin is super sensitive and semi-acne prone but usually have 1-3 blemishes at a time, tops. For the past 6-8 weeks my whole face broke out and in places I don't normally. I tried to stop it with the Clinique acne system which I used before with success but now made my skin burn and breakout. I have lately been using Kiehls Ultra Cleanser then applying lemon juice all over my face and allowing to dry before moisturizing with Kiehls Ultra Moisturizer mixed in with some of the Clinique Acne Solutions Moisturizer (benzol peroxide). In the morning my face looks brighter and my acne scars are beginning to fade. It surprisingly doesn't dry out my skin that much. I just use it as a spot treatment for daytime because it's a bit sticky. It's worth a try! And it's soo inexpensive.

Pros:

Clears up acne, reduces freckles, fades the redness.

Cons:

Burns a little, can't go in sun much.

It works great, better than any actual acne treatments. Your skin feels refreshed and brand new after about a week. Although, you should not use it daily. Otherwise, your skin will get really dry and start peeling. For oily skin, I'd say use it about four times a week. People with dry skin, like only twice a week. :D

Pros:

Bag of organic large American grown lemons, $4-5.
healthy, smells good, natural product. Makes me feel happy and awake. Reduces/defeats whitehead pimples and redness.

Cons:

Does not do much for my real problem, persistent deep blackheads. Actually, the pores close up from the acidic juice, and does not worsen the blackheads, but does not allow frequent/daily use in order to defeat the blackheads.

Get some aloe baby wipes and a sharp knife. Cut a large organic lemon into quarters, and squeeze some juice onto a single wipe. Proceed to wash with closed eyes like it was one of those wonderful Moist Towelettes from the chicken take-out. Do this once daily or bi-weekly, depending on your tolerance. The lemon should last a week if you put the pieces back in the cooler till they are depleted of juice.

Pros:

it works so well, and practically immediately! and my lips taste like lemons :)

Cons:

stings a decent bit at first, kinda itchy, and sticky

works well, and i cut the lemon in half, then into fourths, and used only one of those fourths for one use, so the tiny amount of money you spend goes a long way. i have such sensitive skin to man-made products for skin care, they always make it work. it seems that more natural remedies (like this) work the best- because i really know what is going onto my face ;)
