Pros:

I've used 100% bottled lemon juice on my face as a toner/astringent. This products works wonders for acne prone skin. The oilness decreased, and my acne scars have faded. I use the product am/pm for abouta 3 mos.

Cons:

Dilute ripe lemons with water; or use bottled concentrated lemon juice

Rave review for lemons/limes. These fruits have lighten my acne scars!!!

Pros:

Reduces redmarks, natural, cheap, smells better than vinigar, makes your skin really soft!

Cons:

can be a little drying and you may need to dilute it if you find it too harsh

*Everyone should know about this!* I applied a mix of lemon juice and egg white (not as harsh as just lemon) to my face last night. When I woke up this morning my mum even noticed the difference. After one application the spots have got smaller and the red marks faded by a thrid. I read somewhere that you can make a mask of egg white, lemon juice and powdered milk- but haven't tried it yet. I think lemon juice and applecider vinigar are interchangeable (though ACV is a little harsher).

Pros:

I have been using Lemon juice for about two weeks now. AND WOW!! the change is def. for the better. My skin is glowing...most of my acne is GONE, and my skin isn't dry and flaking

Cons:

It stings a bit escpecially if you scrub your skin before hand.

It works wonders on blemishes and your overall appearance. No matter how old the blemishes are it still works. When I was a child I got chicken pox and I scratched...ALOT, so my face has about 4 marks that stayed and were quite dark...but now the lemon juice is even fading that! I am very happy with this fruit. I have told my boyfriend about it...since he has acne on his back and he didn't believe me...but now he does. Last week I applied it to his back and in two days I could see and feel the difference.

Pros:

Affordable, reduces swelling in a very short period of time, area affected is instanty calmed, prevents breakouts, natural solution.

Cons:

tingles a bit when you apply it

Easiest, most effective solution i have tried nad would recommend it to everyone with all skin types. Moisturising is essential - using lemon jucie does have a drying effect

Pros:

It works fine.. i havent really used it long enough to get results yet but i have noticed that my face isnt as oily!

Cons:

none yet. it doesnt really even sting for me!

well ive been using GARLIC for my acne. it works wonders! but it DOES dry out the face alot.. and i go through like a whole thing of garlic in ONE WEEK. too much! plus the smell.. ew! but hey it DID work so some of you should try it! i heard about the lemon thing a couple weeks ago i was REALLLLLY hesitant to try it. i mean its basically acid.. wont that hurt your face? i tried it 2 days ago and the next morning after i used it, my face felt refreshed and the smaller pimples were barely even there! the bigger ones reduced in swelling.. but no miracle or anyhting just yet i am going to continue using it and i am gunna start drinking lemon juice as well ill keep you posted on how it works! wish me luck!

Pros:

natural

Cons:

stings! a pain also.

i think this is a very difficult way to clear up your acne. i couldn't bear it more than a few days. it was difficult to continue bc i wasn't seeing any noticeable difference.

Pros:

It really works! It clears up acne, prevents future breakouts and improves your overall complexion.

Cons:

It stings a little when you put it on, but you get used to it.

I apply the lemon juice from a fresh lemon after every time I wash my face. I wear it all day, and apply my make-up on top of it. I apply lemon juice again at night and wear it overnight. It has greatly improved my skin! I used to have bad cystic acne. Before the lemon, I was on all kinds of antibotics for a year and was using Retin-A for two years. They would work for a couple of months and then my body would become immune to it. I was about to get on Accutane but I was sick of taking pills. My mother suggested I try using a lemon. And I love it! It is all I use now!
