Not for sensitive skin, but will give you the effects of AHA

Pros:

Cheap
Effective

Cons:

Irritating to sensitive skin types

I would recommend this product in conjunction with your daily toner if you use one.. Alone I believe it would be a little to irritating, especially if you use any other products. It's good for promoting new skin cells, and fading red marks.. but personally I would wait till your acne problem was under control, and your skin was stable before using this product.

Pros:

-Cheap
-Brightens skin
-Leaves face feeling soft
-Easy to use

Cons:

None!

Yes, it will sting. But who doesn't love the satisfaction of knowing that stinging is killing all that bacteria and making your skin better?? I've only been using it for 2 days but it has rocked my world!! Large pimples were dried up and tightened the night after I first started. It makes me start the day feeling clean. Just remember to use a moisturizer after, especially if you'll be getting some sun.

Pros:

- It smells good
- Easy to apply with cotton wool

Cons:

- Didn't see any improvements
- Didn't help redness or spot size
- Stings
- NOT good for sensitive skin!

I think the reason this didn't work for me was because I have very sensitive skin. When I started to rub some lemon juice on to the red scars, I started to feel small spots forming on the scars and my skin would get a bit dry. Although this product is known for reducing redness, I do not recommend this product for those with sensitive skin like me.

Pros:

-Lightens skin over time and gives a healthy glow
-Restores back your face again overtime especially from a picking episode

Cons:

-Stings really bad when used on a picked spot
-May had been the cause of cystic acne on me

I have been using lemons over a year on and off and currently I have stopped using it. Partly because I don't want to get anymore lighter on my face. I think the best way to use it, is before going to bed and using it as a toner with a cotton wool. I never rinsed it off though until the following morning. I am starting to wonder if lemons have been the cause of my cystic acne as I never used to have them before. But that's probably because I never rinsed it off. Overall, I suppose I've taken what the juice has done for me for granted over the period when my skin was really bad (as I am my own cause of self picking) and it seemed to be the best remedy on giving me back my skin again and also at times given me a lovely satin healthy glow. I've stopped using it because I'm worried it has been the cause of my cystic acne, a sort of a 'catch 22' situation. Lemons are ideal for evening out the overall complexion and tone. But I can't remember if it decreased or increased my spots as recently my skin is looking good just using Clean&Clear blackhead scrub.

Pros:

-Lightened hyperpigmentation on my face a lot
-leaves skin feeling fresh
-not greasy or noticeable when dry

Cons:

-may sting a little, but tolerable
-make sure you check for little lemon bits that might get stuck to your face after rubbing it on :P

I had severe acne which I cleared up with Accutane. However, I was left with lots of dark spots on my face at the end of the course. I've been using lemon on my face once a day and the difference is dramatic :)! Really did wonders to lighten up my skin and make the scars less red and inflamed looking.

Pros:

helps my moderately severe acne quite a bit (doesn't get rid of it, but definitely makes a differences)

Cons:

messy, can sting

When I used this with olive oil, i eventually started breaking out. But a few drops of lemon juice on its own or w/ aloe vera has helped. Can't wear it out because of sun-sensitizing potential (or at least, I don't recommend it). I don't like to leave it on, even at night, because it's sticky, so I just use it as a pre-wash treatment.
