Pros:

-Helps fade scars
-Cheap; especially if you know some1 w/lemon tree
-dries active pimples

Cons:

-Makes spots red after application so its best to use at night before bed

Only use this at night and apply to scars/ affected areas and apply freshly squeezed lemon juice to a cotton ball. Hold the cotton ball on affected area for atleast 5 minutes and you really feel the sting of it working. My scars on my chin have cleared up pretty well; i would say 50% in only about 4 weeks of use almost every night. I leave the lemon juice on my face over night and wash off in the morning. Your affected areas might become slightly dry but it will go away with some moisturizer. I use cliniques dramatically different moisturizing gel.

Pros:

clears mild acne
clears scars
dries them out
leaves skin smooth

Cons:

-stinging (but not such a big problem)
-make sure to apply moisturizer because it WILL dry your face
- try to use real lemons instead of lemon juice

I would definitely recommend this if you want to instantly reduce the appearance of acne. But I wouldn't it recommend it more than twice a week for most people. Definitely not every other day. It will dry out your skin and irritate it since it's very acidic. Make sure to use a moisturizer and try to use real lemons. It's more a trial and error thing because it did irritate some people's skin. If you have very sensitive skin (I have somewhat more than sensitive skin), I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe use it once to test when you know you don't have to be somewhere in the next 3 days to give it time to clear up.

Pros:

natural, cheap, organic

Cons:

inital irritation

I have just tried this for the first time, and the inital burning I experienced was so excrutiating I was afraid my face was going to explode in an allergic reaction. Just as I filled the palm of my hand with face wash, the pain subsided. The irritation for me was extreme, maybe because I use very mild products and my skin is not used to the power of the lemon, but I truly believe everyones skin is different. I'm glad I have given this a chance. This is much better than any of those brands neutrogena, clearisil, clean and clear etc. :)

Pros:

Helps clean the skin
Gets rid of excess oil
Brightens skin tone
Helps redness kind of

Cons:

Stings like a you know what

I have only a few pimples around my nose and a a couple on my forehead. My skin has recently been quite red from the colder temperature and a new wash I picked up. My forehead has never broken out before until I used the wash I got but the lemon juice got rid of the pimples completely overnight and the redness is slightly down. The zits around my nose are almost faded. I also recommend taking a "shot" of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar before bed each night. It helps fight acne before it starts

Pros:

Evened out skin tone, softer skin, natural glow, dreaded PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation) under control, incredibly cheap... what's not to love about lemons?!

Cons:

BURNS! Only for the first few minutes though. Don't be a wimp and wash it off.

Okay, well I'm 16 and I have had acne since I was about 10. I remember getting a pimple smack dab in the middle of my forehead and having my mom pop it for me. I figured that it wasn't a big deal, and it truly wasn't.. until a couple of years later. Suddenly the amount of acne started to increase.. more and more pimples showed up on my forehead, then they spread to my cheeks, chin, and temples. I can't count how many times I've cried over acne. I was a pimple popper, which resulted in the red marks. I still lament the fact that I popped my pimples. Acne is a b*tch. I have spent so much $$ on it and it is the absolute worst. I finally went to a derm. and was prescribed some oral antibiotics and a topical lotion (klaron). It's only been the first month, so I haven't seen any drastic changes. However, with the lemons, I have been applying the juice onto my face for the past 2 nights. My skin's texture has improved, I have seen small improvements but I'm hopeful, since it's only been 2 nig

Pros:

It really works!

Cons:

It stings initially, but it goes away in a few minutes.

This actually does the job! I've tried all kinds of things, even prescribed medications, but they don't work -- lemon juice does! It's affordable and fast.

Pros:

Works wonders! My skin is like porcelain smooth & glowing with use once a night or sometimes in the morning. I see few wrinkles are less noticeable, seem to stretch the skin too!

Cons:

Stings for a minute but goes away.

I thought vitamin C, an antioxidant direct on the skin is great & I was willing to spend lots of money on this product. But I thought, why not try fresh lemon juice, best source of Vit C. So I'd cut up fresh lemon in small wedges & lightly squeeze it all over my face & neck. Stings for a bit that was OK thereafter. Wow, after 6 weeks, Myself & others notice that my skin glows, smooth & reddish blotches dissappeared. I'm not using as much foundation as I used to. Always use sunblock 30-55 SPF. Oh my neck also looks as young as my face. Hey I'm 56 & looks 35. Try this nature's miracle. TIP: store cut up lemons in dark container or jar inside fridge since Vitamin C is destroyed by light. Keep it on face for 10-15 min then rinse & apply your regular face products.
