Pros:

It works! I've been using it for a week now and I notice my acne is clearing up BIG TIME! Its also fading the red marks left behind from acne. Makes skin look clear, smoother, and health! And its cheap! Better than all other products I've used.

Cons:

It burns, but after a couple of days, when your skin starts to clear up, your skin will get used to it and it wont burn. (in the beginning)Your skin looks irritated red when its on skin, but the redness fades later.

THE TRUTH IS IT WORKS! Before you think of buying name brand products you see you tv, try this first! I've tried everything from Proactiv, Neutrogena, antibiotics cream and pills, expensive lotions, basically most of what you see in the walgreens skin care section, and lemon juice on the skin is the best. At night after I get out the shower I squeeze fresh lemon juice in a bowl, get cotton balls a soak it up, then apply to face. Leave on for about 10 to 15 minutes, then I rinse it off in the sink (but used the sink drinking filter to get clean filtered water instead of coming from the tap). If you feel it burning, just take the pain keep yourself doing something to forget about the burn. When you rinse it off your skin feels great. At that moment your skin will or may look RED where you have acne, but it fades and goes away. After that I apply the Lily of the Desert Organic Aloe Vera. Its helps sooth the skin, moisturizes it, and helps with the acne and scars

Pros:

Quick, immediate, cheap, natural, lemony, vitamin C, acidic

Cons:

Indeed it DOES sting!

I used the juice of 1/4 of a small lemon and applied to my face and neck like an astringent using freshly washed hands. At first it didn't sting at all, but once it started to soak in, it felt like I had just poured lightning all over my body. This would be perfect for practicing/building patience/pain tolerance. It left a thin layer like a mask, which i didn't notice until i started to rub away flecks of pulp and lemon film. When I added benzoyl peroxide to my zits after the juice dried, it got clumpy around the treatment so next time I would wash off the juice after it's dried, and THEN use the peroxide. Though it stung like crazy, it immediately dried out my cystic acne, shrinking it by 75%, making it easier to heal. I did a double dose of this "mask" back to back and my skin got kind of rosy, which I can only assume means some skin corroded away. Use sunblock. I will definitely be using this again.

Pros:

Smells nice, cleanses your skin, burns away acne, lightens your skin (this could be seen as a con, however), leaves your skin smooth, easy to get, completely natural, tasty if you get it in your mouth, leaves your skin feeling clean, and much more.

Cons:

Makes your skin lighter (this can be seen as a pro, as well), stings, may dry your skin, may make your skin peel if you use too much on an area with no acne.

This is wonderful. I don't use any acne creams or washes. Just lemons. I am so happy! Now I don't have to worry about acne, and can walk around proudly with my skin looking and feeling great! Amazing!

Pros:

helps get rid of acne

Cons:

sticky and stings for 2 seconds

I've had acne for 3 years and hasn't gone away. Then i read that lemon juice helps and i tried it. And it helped right away! I saw changes in just two days. All i did was buy lemon juice from Wal-mart and put it on a cotton ball and rub in on my face. It works great!!

Pros:

It works, it is completely natural.

Cons:

Stings a bit. no biggie

Be patient, for the first couple weeks my face broke out even more but this is normal for natural remedies. Symptoms often get worse before getting better. I have used lemon for almost a month now and I can honestly say this works better than any other bullsh*t cream, cleanser, or pill I have ever used. Most dermatologists will not prescribe lemon to their patients because there is no money in lemons and that would upset their friends in the pharmaceutical industry. I use a slice of lemon at night and scrub it directly and gently on my face. I does sting a little for a few minutes but its not a big deal. I guess some other people wash the lemon juice off but I just leave it on all night. I would also suggest washing your face prior to applying the lemon, ideally with an all natural aloe vera soap bar, without fragrance or dye. I also use the aloe vera soap in the morning to wash my face.

Pros:

clears up acne and makes skin tone pretty even.

Cons:

stings a little bit, and in the first day or so it makes acne worse.

i put fresh queezed lemon juice into a cup and replace it about every 4 days. i soak a cotton ball in it and then apply it to my face, AFTER washing my face with my normal cleanser. i leave it on for about 10 minutes morning and night, and then rinse it off with COLD water. day 1- makes acne look worse, a couple more pimples form. day2- same as day one, except old ones are going away. day 3- pimples are drieing up. day 4- most pimples are gone and scars look less visible. day 5- skin is glowing and almost all acne is gone. i relly recommend this(:
