Pros:

Actually works
Cheaper than a facewash
Smells nice

Cons:

Stings a little when applied
Stings more after shaving/with open cuts

Brilliant, I was sceptical at a simple lemon being able to tame my acne but it worked! I just cut the lemon into slices and squeeze it onto my face and rub it in, brush my teeth to ignore the stinging which isn't that bad, then wash it off with water simple! I found to use it each night a lemon will last 3-4 days and it really worked for me!

Pros:

~ lightened acne scars with in 2 weeks
~ decreased acne breakouts (toothpaste works great for drying acne. place little bit on the breakout dry in the morning)
~ evened out skin tone

Cons:

~ burns for a few seconds after application

i wanted to get away from chemicals and i heard this on doctor oz. i wash with johnson & johnson head to toe baby wash (good enough for "new" skin, good enough for my skin). i then apply lemon juice from the bottle using a cotton pad and apply apricot oil as a moisturizer. after two months my skins is looking just as good as it did when i used the prescriptions from my dermatologist. best part this is sooo much cheaper.

Pros:

It really works!

Cons:

It is sticky on the face. Stings. You need to use sunblock/moisturizer.

It really works. Actually, acne is very hard to treat. I have used a lot of topical medicines like proactiv, tretinoin, clindamycin, even feminine wash but to no avail. Sometimes these medicines work but after a few weeks, acne starts to go back. So its really is frustrating. I tried ACV but somehow its not consistent so I tried to use lemons on my face. Although it stings specially after you shave, it is very easy to use and is available at a local market/grocery. It is very consistent, although I do get a few pimples now and then but really I love this fruit. It also improved my skin tone and my friends do recognize the difference. I just wash my face with water then topically apply the lemons and rinse after an hour. Sometimes I just leave it on my face until morning. I recommend this. There are no quick remedies, you just have to stick with something that works and voila you'll have a clear skin you've been dreaming of!

Pros:

gave me results

Cons:

stings - so Dilute it: 50% water, 50% lemon juice if you're putting it on ur face. However, I was able to put PURE lemon juice on my back.

I have a lot of "red spots" from old acne on my cheeks and so far it has faded them and made them smaller. It cleared up my chin from acne, it decreased the black heads but they have not disappeared. At first it gave me a bit more acne before it started working, but it was very little and didn't bother me so much. when i stopped using it for 3 days, my chin broke out again so i'm back on it now! I have been using this for 4 weeks

5 stars from me. i've had bad redness from years of acne marks and in a short amount of time, lemon juice has really lighten up my skin / post acne marks & i feel a lot more confident as my skin looks sort of "normal" with no redness. im still learning about using lemon juice topically but i currently leave it on my skin over night. - if you want to try this treatment, i would do some research first. (some people recommend using it overnight, some say 10 mins max and others say use it three times a day ?) -i am unsure of the side effects so i might not use it as much now but iv'e read something about avoiding sunlight when using lemon juice?

Indecisive
I am experiencing acne since the age of 14 (17 now) i realized that anything with benzoyl peroxide in it causes my skin to burn. For example i used acneterminator and it caused my skin to get red and dry. Should i still use lemon or should i stick with the remedy of honey & Ice?
