Pros:

Smooth/Soft Skin
Glowing Skin
Heals Blemishes
Lightens Scars (slowly)
*Use with Honey

Cons:

Makes a mess in the bathroom
Must use consistently (EVERY NIGHT) to see results

Cut the lemon, add a drop of honey, and rub it directly on your clean face in a circular motion. Leave on as long as possible. Honey helps lessen the stinging, and I think it works better this way. I have severe cystic acne, and this has taken the "topical" stuff away. This was the only treatment my skin had responded well to since antibiotics (which I refused to keep taking). I was still getting some cysts, but my skin had not felt this smooth in seven years. I won't say it's a cure, but I have been on "The Whole 30" for 13 days now, which seems to be curing the cystic stuff. I've found changing my diet to be the best choice I've made in curing my acne. I will continue to use this mask and hope it lightens the scars, which are now my biggest problem. (It has lightened them some, but it's a slow process). My routine, if you're curious: -Eat a Whole 30 diet -Wash my face gently with warm water, a wash cloth, and organic soap nightly(something natural with the fewest ingredients possible) -lemon&honey mask nightly -moisturize with pure aloe vera (from the plant) daily

Pros:

Evened complexion a bit
Reduced pimple size

Cons:

If you drink it as well it can cause tooth decay if you don't drink it right!

So I've been on Accutane and my face was finally starting to clear up, then I got mono and my doctor took me off Accutane and put me on steroids for a week right before school! I broke out TERRIBLY, and I was so pissed that I suffered through a summer of Accutane only to have worst skin by the start of school. I started drinking about a shot of lemon juice in the morning and at night yesterday as well as applying it on my face twice a day. So far the results have been great and have stopped my break out from getting worse and has also taken away some of the redness from the 4 big pimples I now have on my cheeks. I have one more day before school starts so I'm hoping it will continue to make my acne go away! So far so good :)

Pros:

- Exfoliates your skin
- Reduces a lot my acne scars
- Helps a lot with blemishes and acne
- You need to figure out what kind of lemon is the best for you (the regular one or the green one)

Cons:

- Stings a little bit

I finally found my remedy! Yay! I had severe acne with cystic acne covering my whole cheeks. My dermatologist helped me so much with prescriptions (a gentle cleanser cream from Avene, a topical cream Epiduo Gel and antibiotics). My acne has reduced, but i was still having some cystic pimples. But my skin was sooo oily, and the reason was the topical cream. Noow, in the morning, i wash my face with just WATER (about 15 times), then moisturize. In the evening, i use a micelle solution for babies (Bioderma H2o) with a cotton pad, until it is clear (just 2 cottons pad , and about 8 when i'm wearing foundation) theeen another cotton pad with the milky liquid from oatmeal (i mix water and oatmeal, then i "press" oatmeal and then you have a sort of milk). The benefits of oatmeal for our skin are amazing. After that, i rinse my face with water only (about 15 times). I moisturize, wait about 2 hours and apply LIME (the green one, not the yellow one). My skin is now 95% clear, and my scars are fading :)

Pros:

Great clenaser
Removes acne scars
Smells good
Leaves skin refreshed
Works as a toner
Draws out impurities
Removes oil

Cons:

DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE DRY SKIN BECAUSE IT MAY STING

also, you should use a moisturiser after use

I used it on a cotton pad as a cleanser and it removed the impurities in my skin. I also used a cotton bud to remove acne scars. Lemon juice is a good thing to use if you have: blackheads acne scars uneven skintone (red marks, spot marks etc) oily skin acne/ zits

Pros:

reduces hyperpigmentation
shrinks pores
gets rid of new pimples
cheap and natural

Cons:

made my face red
made my skin sensitive to the sun

I have been applying lime juice (I am in Colombia and cant find lemons) to my face for 3 days and the red spots on my cheek have improved significantly. My face has gotten really sensitive to sunlight though, so I would recommend using the juice at night. I put the juice of a quarter of a lime on my face, wait 15 minutes, and then rinse it off. Then I use cetaphil cleanser, acne.org bp, and cetaphil lotion. My pores are also smaller now.

Pros:

Cures acne
Lightens and removes scars
Smells nice

Cons:

Does not stop outbreaks
May "burn" a little, if not diluted

I've fought with mild to moderate acne for years now. But thanks to this natural remedy my acne is almost completely gone. My skin is smooth to the touch and only some very light blemishes is all what's left. Here you can look at my progress: [link removed] used a special procedure, though, which is a bit too detailed and too long for this review, so if you want to know everything, feel free to email me: john.brandon55@[link removed]

Pros:

Reduced Acne Scars Almost Immediately!
Reduces Redness
Reduces Breakouts
Smells Good

Cons:

Stings SO MUCH
Slightly red skin

This is amazing, I JUST did this tonight and my acne scars are already faded slightly! Amazing, I've tried Proactive, Accutane, and Tazorac but lemon juice is BY FAR the best! Very cheap too!, all you do is take a half lemon squeezed into a bowl, tip a cotton ball into it and apply to the skin, let it stand for 5 - 15 min then apply a warm cloth to skin, you might feel it sting again when the cloth is applied, but that is only temporary. And make sure you wash your face with any cleanser you use before you try it out!

I tried several different products and nothing seemed to work.I apply lemon juice with a cotton ball on my face and sleep with it on. Ive been doing this for about a week and my skin looks so much better. My skin hasnt looked this good in months.

it clears skin

It works. I use it at night, right after I wash my face. Straight from the slice. I leave it on all night long. Nicer skin in the morning.

Pros:

Clearer skin, helps fade red marks after using consistently and for a long time, smells fresh, is natural and easy to use. You can use freshly cut slices or the bottled juice!

Cons:

Burns at first but after using for awhile it's not as noticeable. You need to be consistent and use it daily for measurable results.

When I was growing up breakouts for me were pretty rare, with only a blemish here and there. That all changed a couple years ago when mostly my cheeks started breaking out. I had no idea why! I tried just about everything: wearing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide to bed at night, drinking more water, monitoring my nutrition, washing my pillowcases and bedding, face masks, herbal treatments, changing my face wash, switching foundation brands, I stopped wearing blush, cleaned makeup brushes, tried Proactiv, etc. Last October I was really getting depressed knowing my wedding was 8 months away and my skin looking the way it did. I also hated the red marks that were all over my cheeks which made them look even worse. I then started washing my skin with lemon juice after removing my makeup using a regular face wash. Now, 6 months later, the marks have really faded and my skin is finally clear again! I can now be confident on my wedding day knowing that my pictures will show the real
