Works great!
I started using lemon juice after reading online that it works well for scars. When I first started using it, it was a bit itchy at first, and my face burned, so I stopped using it. A little later, the scars got worse and so I gave lemon juice another chance, except diluting it with 2/3 water instead of 1/2 and adding more aloe to the mixture. The scars nearly disappeared in 3 days! I don't recommend using any other chemicals (a little bit of salicylic acid is fine, but benzoyl peroxide will burn) while using this, and make sure to stay out of the sun. Lotion is important as well because this will dry out your skin a little bit.

Pros:

Works quickly to lighten and brighten your skin, and help fade the spots! You will notice results within two short weeks.

Cons:

NONE!

Make sure that you are consistent and use it every night and if you can use it every day as well. The more it is used the quicker you will see results! And you do not have to rinse it off your face, you can simply wear it under your moisturizer and also under your makeup if you are a girl that is.

Pros:

Smells nice
Works!
Super cheap

Cons:

Itchy a little the first time
Can sting
To much can dry out my face.

I love this! After only two times doing this I see a differnce. My skin looks so much nicer and way more even in tone. What I've done it put the juice on a cotton ball, put all over my face and my shoulders where I also get some bumps and left it on for about 10min. Then I washed it off with a cool washcloth. Then I used honey on my face as a mask. Kind of a dripy mess, but it works! Just keep ur face over a bowl lol. Then I washed off the honey in the shower. The redness I had on my face and my shoulders is gone! Just be sure to but some mostioure back in your face after the lemon if you can't do the honey mask right away. I'm so glad I found this site I'd never heard of this before!

Pros:

faster results
Doesnt sting

Cons:

non so far

I found that using the actual pulp from the lemon works way faster then using the lemon juice alone. I allow the pulp to sit on my scar for about 10mins. then i wash it off before i go to bed. I see the scar is getting lighter and lighter every time i do this!! i'll update my results in some weeks or so =)

Pros:

-Chemical Free
-Great Smell
-Good Moisterizor
-Gentle

Cons:

-Stings for a second.
-Leaves my T-Zone shiny.
-Broke out on my forehead.

I used fresh squeezed lemon on my face for seven days. After two days I already saw a difference in the size of the flat pink scars. I'm a naturally really pale but the lemons seemed to give my face a darker glow which I loved! The skin that was unaffected by scars or acne ended up very smooth and my pores looked nonexsistant. However my current blemishes took WAY longer to go away when I put lemon on them. It seemed to prolong the healing process. My forehead also mildly broke out in tiny red bumps, not pimples, just some irritation. I started using lemon to fade my old ance scars. It seemed to work so I switched to all facial products to natural facewash and moisturizor and will only be using lemons on my scars to avoid further irritation on my forehead. Overall I would reccomend it. It's very cheap and chemical free! Can't get more natural then this.

Pros:

Effective if you stay with it. Cheap.

Cons:

Stings a bit and can leave your skin a bit sticky. A bit of talc helps with that.

I use it all over my body. Remarkable results.

Works well WITH tea tree moisturizer
If there is a story that never ends, it is my story with acne. I had it since 2009, tried so many things to get rid of it, went to many doctors but they didn't help much to the point I don't even care about my breakouts anymore. Just recently, I moved to a tropical place with bad water quality. Since then, my acne gotten worse and it finally caught my attention again. Went to a doctor first, got treated with chemical peeling only to have my acne even worse. A friend of mine suggested me to use lemon juice every night before going to bed and to use some moisturizer. I was hesitant at first. Since my skin type is very oily, wouldn't it gotten worse if I use moisturizer? Apparently not. Yes, lemon juice works like magic-- only after 6 nights of using lemon juice, I can see a big difference. But it's also important to use moisturizer since lemon juice can irritate your skin and cause more acne. Hence, the key is to look for the right moisturizer for your skin. I chose night lotion that contains tea tree oil and it works perfectly. I also use tea tree mattifying lotion for daily use. Unfortunately the mattifying lotion don't have SPF in it, so I have to look for sunscreen that works well with oily skin. I also drank 2 lites of water/day. So far, it works just fine for me. I hope this helps you too. :)

YES! USE LEMON!
I've had had acne for 2+ years now, and I've tried everything! I'm African American and brown skinned. I've used everything from black soap, to proactive, and I will say that lemon has been the most effective. I've used lemon once and I noticed a big difference in my acne and scars within one week. I plan to continue to use my facial scrub, and will use lemon atleast twice or 3 times a week!

I found this treatment through Pinterest! I'm trying to eliminate all of my eczema scars, but Pinterest said to apply juice for some minutes(didn't specify, so I did 5 minutes) and wash it off, I see everyone else has been doing this process overnight? Which routine is best for results?

Pros:

Makes skin radiant
Clears red/dark marks fast
Great for making stubborn pimples go away
Smells amazing

Cons:

Stings/itches at first when you put it on
Sticky
Makes skin lighter (not good if you're really white like me)

This stuff is pretty damn good. I mostly use it on recently popped pimples and red marks that are left. It made my stubborn red marks go away when I used it twice daily. I tried putting it all over my back for my bacne, and at first it did itch, but after a half hour it was fine. The next day my pimples were going away and the red marks fading. Haven't used it since because my skin is too dry for anything!
