Pros:

an absolute gift from the Universe.

Cons:

none

I have been using Lavender oil mixed with virgin coconut oil for a while now. I use it at nights after I have removed my make-up and in the morning before I go to work (I let it dry for a while before I apply my makeup}. I had forgotten what real skin looked like because I have had acne since I was a teenager, but low and behold there it was after using lavender oil/coconut oil. My skin is now toned and the color is now coming back to my face. I will stand by this product for as long as it stands by me and it doesn't seem like it will anytime soon.

Pros:

Brings all pimples to a head, including the ones underneath the skin! It really reaches down and pulls up all the impurities virtually over night!

Cons:

The only problem I've experience is that I can't use it under make up/foundation. No worries if you use it exclusively before bed.

It's easily the best cure for my acne I've found in years! I applied the lavender oil mixed with jojoba oil (1:1) before bed, when I woke up I had all my active pimples at a head and ready to be squeezed. On top of that I had several smaller ones that I didn't know about being purged from my skin. They too were able to be easily squeezed. Applied more of the oil mix and by the end of the day no more raised pimples!!! Even the pressed ones flattened and were drying. The next morning all the old pimples were still flat and dried, with NO NEW PIMPLES!! Easily the best thing I've ever found, PLEASE TRY IT!

Pros:

My daughter has been using lavender, bergamot and geranium oil, mixed with a carrier oil, from a natural therapeutist, so far so good. It slows the oil production by normalising the hormones in the skin and stops new spots forming.

Cons:

It takes a couple of weeks to work but you can see it working, slowly.

definitely worth a try. My daughter is much happier. She had tried virtually everything and this is the only thing that has worked.

Pros:

Works fast, easy to use, natural, afordable

Cons:

a little drying but your acne is gone so who cares?

Clears pimples and scars amazingly fast! I've been using it every day for about 2 weeks and all my scars and pimples are well on their way to being history! It's the best thing I've ever used and I've used tons of creams and washes both cheap and expensive. I spent over 20 $ on a small tube of vichy cream to get rid of pimples and now I realize that was a waste, lavender works 5 times better and its natural! Use this and egg whites to clear your face! Also mix a few drops of lavender into your egg white and into whatever lotion you use on your face for amazing results. Oh, and if you're a guy like me only use it when you plan on staying in otherwise you'll smell strongly of lavender, use before bed for better looking skin every morning!

Pros:

Absolutely amazing. I stopped washing my face for a while and every time I used any topicals, they would just make my face worse. But lavender oil is the only thing I have tried that actually improves my skin.

Cons:

Strong smell. But the smell fades after a few minutes.

Definitely worth a try for any one who uses a basic, natural skin care regimen. I bought a bottle for 6 bucks a few months ago and it is about 1/4 full yet. Definitely the cheapest, best working face product. Great for your entire face (not eyes) and spot treatments. Make sure you by pure, organic lavender oil!!!!

Pros:

Reduced redness and pain.

Cons:

It did not decrease the number of new acne lesions.

Acne is an inflammatory disease. Anything that reduces inflammation is not a bad thing. Great cosmetic product, with a lovely aroma.

Pros:

Great smell
Affordable (Compared to many acne products)
Great anti-inflammatory
Noticeable difference in face within the day

Cons:

Don't get in your eyes!
Doesn't seem to help breakouts, just redness

I use lavender oil every day. Especially after the shower or after I finish the last step of my my regimen (moisturizing) to help the redness... It's also a moisturizer which is great, and if you happen to pick (I try so hard not to but sometimes I cave! D:) if you put it on immediately it really helps speed up the healing... This won't help prevent you from breaking out, though. It will only help with dryness from your treatments and redness. I can't say it helps heal old red scars though, it only seems to help with inflamed pimples.

Pros:

Nice smell, easy to find, not too expensive.

Cons:

Really set my skin off. Made my acne much worse.

I won;t be using this again and will probably avoid products which have this as a main ingredient. It's a shame. I was looking forward to using this after reading reviews but it really did not suit my face.

Pros:

Only used for 2 days so far, and its amazing. On the first day, all my pimples came to a head. I was able to just lightly squeeze all the puss out. This stuff works AMAZINGLY! Plus i had the best sleep of my life, i think its that wonderful smell.

Cons:

I always found it wierd that putting OIL on my skin would cure my acne, especially since i HAVE oily skin to begin with. But im so glad I tried this essential oil. No cons!

USE IT! I dilute mine with jojoba oil. 2 drops of lavender oil and 3-5 drops of jojoba oil for my entire face! that's all! I only put it on once before i go to bed and the next morning, my skin feels smoother and looks healthier. I don't know what this oil is doing, but whatever it is it's working!
