Dryness, redness - not good for sensitive skin
If you have sensitive skin, stay away from this product. People who have normal or tough skin will probably benefit from its drying effects, but all this clay mask did was give me huge, red splotches of irritated skin even when I only used it for 2-3 minutes at a time. And it did next to nothing to actually dry up active spots. Total waste of time.

Maybe just spot treat with it. Leave it on overnight. 🤗

this product works...but
There's no doubt about it, this product is highly effective. For a while I ws using it nightly and really seeing results, receiving compliments, etc. HOWEVER it is so messy and inconvenient. I never thought I'd be one not to use an effective product because of inconvenience, but my mum actually asks me not to use it, and she cares about the state of my skin more than I do! Also, whilst it does clear up breakouts and blackheads, to a degree, I'm not sure how effective it is at preventing breakouts and blackheads.

Pros:

Super squeaky clean face, scars and hyperpigmentation look better after one use.

Cons:

HARD TO GET OFF and bright redness afterwards that lasts for a tiny bit.

If you've never tried this then you've never truly felt your face as clean as it can be. I have extremely oily skin and this stuff made it seem way less oily even after a couple of days. I don't know how some people can use this super often but I do like it occasionally. Maybe once every couple weeks or so. I like honey and lemon masks every couple days because it's not as irritating. I don't know if I would try this if you're on the regimen either. It's pretty harsh.

I don't know if this product is for me
So I have used this product three times, and everytime I use it the next morning my face looks worse then the day before. I prior to trying this I was using retin-a micro and my skin was a lot smoother and clearer then it had in a year, but after using the Indian healing clay my skin isn't nearly as smooth 😞

Irritated my sensitive skin
I was really excited to use this after hearing such great things, so when it arrived mixed it together (ratio 1:1 clay to water until the right consistency) and left to dry for around 20 minutes.I have sensitive combination skin which has slight blemishes to the nose, chin and both cheeks. After about 10 minutes, I could feel it pulsating as it stated and it dried uncomfortably on my face.It was very hard to remove and hurt my skin quite a lot.Initially, I was quite happy with the results as it left my skin feeling very clean and smooth with the expected slight redness, but a couple of hours later a broke out into a spotty, red rash that covered my problem areas and was very painful. It may have worked better if I had reduce the time, but I feel like this is too strong for my sensitive skin.

You have to dilute the ACV (apple cider vinegar) with water, 1:1 ratio. I mix the ACV in a quart mason jar and keep it under the sink, along with the clay. I have found that the ACV mixes far better with the clay than water. i dont know why but it does. Whenever I mix the clay with water, following 1:1 ratio it always comes out clumpy, no matter how mich more water I add. I hope this helps!

Best Mask Ever
So, a little about me. I'm in my late 20's and I have adult cystic acne. I have oily/combo (more oily than combo) skin and I have had cystic acne since I was in high school. I have probably tried every drugstore product you could possibly think of to help my acne to no avail. This clay (in powder form) I can absolutely not live without. As many of you know, there is no product out there that will dry up your acne and heal your face in the 15-30 minutes, or a week for that matter, that you use it. So let's be realistic about what we expect from products. The first time I used this I mixed it up 1 Tb of powder and 1 Tb of apple cider vinegar and left it on my face for about 20 mins and then washed it off. My face was pretty red, but really soft. Over the next few days I saw some small white heads come up around my chin and little on my forehead, but they went away within the week. I have been using this product once a week followed by a toner and very good moisturizer for almost a year. I stopped having little white heads come up after about four weeks. I wouldn't use this more than once a week because it is drying and you don't want to over treat your skin either. (I have found that my acne prone skin acts much like sensitive skin.) I rarely get any cystic pimples anymore, maybe one or two every three or four months, and a few regular pimples every now and then. I leave the mask on for 25 mins or so, although I have left it on longer and honestly I don't think it really does anything different after 25 mins. I have noticed other differences in my skin as well: it feels tighter, smoother, more even toned, and less oily for a few days after I've done the mask. The only days I do not wear any foundation are the day of and the day after this mask because my skin just really glows. So my recommendation is to stick with it, give it 8 or 9 weeks of (one time a week) use before you decide whether or not you like it. If the "power of the mask" is too strong for you then take it off at 10-15 mins. or a little earlier. My mom with dry, aging (sorry mom) skin uses this on her face and neck for 10-12 mins and loves it. My younger sister with dry/combo skin uses this and loves it and my older sister with oily (non-acne prone) skin uses this and loves it. I promise, if you stick with it your skin will improve and you will love it.

Pros:

Slight improvement in skin texture sometimes

Cons:

No change in acne
No overall lasting improvement
messy

Not sure what all the hype is about. I tried this several times, both with just water and apple cider vinegar, and I didn't notice a difference in my skin. In fact, I think it made my skin a bit worse, and not because the clay pulled out impurities. I didn't feel it working, even when I left it on for 30 minutes.
