Notice a difference straight away!
Ok so I'm 25 years old and I have always had very clear skin. People used to compliment my skin a lot and would even stop me to ask what products I use. However, In the past 2-3 months I've had a major breakout, mostly on my cheeks. I would say it's been mostly mild-moderate acne but it's definitely knocked my confidence down as I've not been able to figure out what's caused the breakout. I went and spent £100 on products from Clinique, Kiehls and other brands and it only made my skin worse. I started breaking out more, and my skin became incredibly dry. I even changed my diet, and cut out on eating all dairy products. One of my friends informed me of Aztec Secret Clay and I ordered it straight away on Amazon for approximately £14. I watched many YouTube videos and read reviews before it arrived, so I was very excited to test it. I used it yesterday for the first time and guys, it was incredible! I mixed it with apple cider vinegar until it became a paste. Some people like the consistency quite thin while others prefer it thick (there is no wrong or right). I applied it on my face and it took approximately 10-15 minutes to dry and to feel your skin pulsate! I felt the mask work ' it almost felt like someone placed a vacuum on your face and it sucks all the dirt out of your face! The skin feels tight and you can feel the mask doing it's job! I kept this on for 35 minutes. I washed the mask of with hot water and then applied some sudocrem after directly on the spots. I think it'll be best to apply oil after as your skin can become dry. However my skin felt soft and it looked glowing. I noticed IMMEDIATELY that the redness on the spots had gone down and the pimples had become dry. There were some new pimples on the surface but that's nothing to worry about ' it's because the mask is pulling all the bad bacteria out! The only reason that I haven't given it a 5 star is because I've only used it once so I need to use it a few times to see if the results are noticeable.

Pros:

softens the skin, purifies, clears acne, clears blackheads/whiteheads, heals skin, can be purchased without a presecription, natural product

Cons:

tightening sensation when the clay dries may be a little uncomfortable

I found this at the Vitamin Shoppe. Mix this clay with unfiltered apple cider vinegar (aka organic or with the "mother" in it) this type of vinegar is in its purest state and has a cloudy appearance. Using regular vinegar does not work. By doing so you activate the ingredients. I loved it. I have adult acne and it has done wonders.

QUESTION
Just wondering if I am able to use this mask while on the Acne.org regimen plus glycolic acid? Would it be fine if I used the mask only once a week to kind of balance it out and not mess with the regimen and glycolic acid? I have really oily skin but not that sensitive. I don't have acne that bad I mostly have scars that's why I'm using glycolic acid.

AMAZING!!!
Guys let me start by saying i never ever write reviews, so this product has amazed me enough that i just had to write one. I only ordered this product 3 days ago and it arrived yesterday and ive used it ONCE yes once and the results are phenominal already. Ill give you a little background on my skin, for 4 years ive had acne on and off but mostly ive had closed comedones and i never knew what they were until recently, ive tried squeezing proding and scraping the contents out of these bumps but alls it does is inflame it and make it bleed which turns into a scab and looks 100x worse. Theres literally hundreds of these horrible things all over my forehead, temples cheeks and chin and have never even budged in the slightest in literally years! I used this product today guys and it brought all of the contents closer to the surface and after i washed it off i squeezed about half of them out already after one use, its like a miracle guys these bumps have not budged in years yet after one use of this amazing product half of them are gone! It brings all the nasty gunk out of your pores to the surface so they can be extracted. I mixed the clay in equal parts with Braggs Apple Cider Vinger in a plastic bowl with a plastic spoon because it reacts to metal and the clay loses its good quality compound, it feels great on your skin and pulsates you can feel it purging the skin, expect the face to get warmer too but this is normal, also your face is red for an hour or so later. But after it if you want to get rid of closed comedones or blackheads, take a blackhead extractor tool and they pop stright out! Then clean the face again and apply a toner and moisturizer, i found an another amazing product which has also worked wonders in the matter of days and its called silver serum, its cheap and a little of the product goes a very long way. It gets rid of bad bacteria whilst putting good bacteria that has been stripped from the skin because of the mask back into the skin which stops you oveproducing oil. Sorry for the long review guys but seriously get this product you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Did u wash ur face with cold water or warm water?

What you had, were they white heads? I have so many stubborn ones and nothing has worked for me. Please let me know!

Sorry guys I've only just seen your comments, I wash with the warmest water I can stand at first, this gets the mask off easier and also keeps your pores open so you can extract the gunk out what the mask has brought to the surface. Then once I've washed it off I go to the mirror and use a clean comedone extractor to get all the stuff out of my pores, then once that's done I rinse my face with cold water (this will close the clean pores up) and moisturise, then I'm all done! It works a treat

Pros:

Shrinks pores, gets rid of blackheads, smoother skin, dries up pimples

Cons:

dries face out, a little uncomfortable

I've only used this clay twice and already it's doing what it says it does. After my first time, my pores were definitely smaller and the blackheads on my nose were GONE. It also does a good job smoothing your skin - bad habit i know, but I just can't stop touching my face! My texture's that smooth (: A few pimples definitely started to dry out, and the second time I used it they were even more so. I think if I keep using this stuff two, three more times, they should be gone. One thing I'll say is that this stuff does dry your face out; you definitely need to have a good moisturizer handy. Using this is a little uncomfortable at first, but I think it just takes time getting used to. I've been suffering with acne since the 6th grade (I'm now a sophomore in college) and I feel like I finally found a product that works for me. I'm so happy I came across this stuff; I love how it's all natural and it honestly works like it says it does. I can't wait to keep using this mask, and (hopefully!) watch my face clear up!! Just buy it, it won't hurt to try. (:

I love this miracle.
I had normal acne while growing up but once I was 17, my face cleared up. I then got the most stressful job of my life and BAM the acne came back worse than ever. After trying everything (it's embarrassing being an adult with acne), I found someone who said this mask was good. I bought 2 lbs of it. I used it last week and as soon as I washed my face off, my face became smooth as a baby's bottom, I felt it pulsate too while I had the mask on. It looked so clear! So I'm hooked on it, I use it very often, in fact, I'm using it right now. I even had my brother use it and he loves it. Honestly, you need to try this miracle mask. It can clear your face effectively in just a night. Over a week you'll have a clear face!

Cured my acne
I'm a 39-year old man with moderate acne for 20 years, off and on. After 6 months of bad breakouts, I started used this clay once a week and the results were immediate. Very very infrequent/minor breakouts ever since, the least I've had in years.

Pros:

Refreshing
Pulls out toxins
Cleared my skin after after about week

Cons:

Messy
Can be drying (read "Bottom line", I mix with Coconut oil to prevent drying)

I've been using bentonite clay for about a month now and I really feel like it has helped my skin a lot. At the moment my skin is completely clear except for one small under the skin pimple that started to come up. I don't expect it to even come all the way up, as the clay has been pretty much keeping my skin clear. Okay, so this is what I've been doing. I mix equal parts Clay and Coconut oil and use the mixture to exfoliate my face. It won't harden at all; it will feel like diluted paste. The clay will bead up slightly, but if you are noticing huge clay chunks, you may have used too much clay. I scrub scrub scrub...its not irritating at all...the coconut oil soothes and the clay exfoliates. Next, I put a little water on my hands and rub that all over my face, this turns the clay into a mask. I leave that on for 5-15 mins. The mask doesn't get overly dry or irritate my face b/c of the coconut oil, but it will still harden. Then I rinse the mask off and tone with diluted tea tree oil. My face isn't typically really dry after this process, but if it is, I'll dab a bit of jojoba oil or light moisturizer on it. That's all...my face has been feeling so soft, clean, and refreshed! Side Note: The first 8 days of using the clay, my skin broke out a lot. The clay pulled out all the crud. That being said, I don't think I really have to tell anyone one this site the importance of doing the internal work along with the external. Hope this helps someone!

Pros:

clay masks draw toxins and impurities
tightens pores

Cons:

messy
hard to get mixing proportions right at first
can be drying if you don't add moisturizing ingredients like honey to it

I cannot live without clay masks at least 2 nights per week. Now that I am in my early 30s and my acne is finally subsiding, I am totally into taking care of my skin and making it look it's best. I had cystic acne breakouts from age 12 to age 31 that left me with large pores and dull looking skin. Now that the worst of my battle with acne is over, I'm looking at ways to improve my skin. I was really bummed out to hear that there is nothing that can be done to shrink large pores, but I still wanted to try to make them better. What I've found is that while it's true that you can't make large pores disappear, you really CAN tone them up. Number one is keeping them clear. I use an extractor tool on my nose once per week to get blackheads and plugs out. This in itself makes those pores less noticeable. Clay masks like this one also help pull impurities from the pores and tighten them up-and while the effect is temporary, when you keep doing it consistently at least a couple times per week, your pores tone up and over time start looking smaller and tighter. Ice is also really important. Every time after I wash my face with warm water, I use a frozen water bottle on my face to close the pores back up. I am convinced that consistent use of clay masks and ice "exercises" the pores and they eventually tone up. My skin looks the best it has since I was a pre-teen. I'd say my pores are %50 percent better than they were before I started this regimen. They are still noticeable, but they aren't huge. I've also been doing dermarolling for collagen induction, and I don't know what part that plays, but I really feel like the clay and ice make the difference.
