wow

Pros:

Awesome
Pulls out acne
Completely gets rid of picked pimple scabs

I can't say I have very bad acne.. I have relatively clear skin, but every month before I get my period I get large pimples deep beneath the skin... (cysts I believe you call them?) Now every time I feel one coming I can't help myself but pick at it all the time, I really try not to but I can't help myself! And every time, it turns into a huge disgusting scab of grossness. I read about this product yesterday and went out to buy it because it was so cheap and I heard great reviews and figured why not give it a try. I applied it for the first time yesterday using apple cider vinegar (I heard it was more beneficial than water because this product can be drying and ACV can help restore some moisture) and my skin felt great afterward but I noticed a few more pimples and was very confused. So i went online and researched and saw that this happens and is good because for the first few uses it sucks up all the bacteria and clogged pores and brings them to the surface and within a few days everything should be cleared up. I just applied this mask about a half an hour ago for a second time, took it off and my big huge disgusting scab of grossness is COMPLETELY GONE. Now I specifically registered on an account for this website just to write this review and tell you all to go out and buy this product right now!! Incredible!

Pros:

Helps get rid of those bumpy clogged pores
Dries out spots over night
Ok for heavy usage - even with dry skin like mine
Clarifies healthy skin beautifully
Brings circulation to your face, prompting your face to heal itself
Contains lots of minerals
A lot of fun to mix
Easy to mix when using ACV
100% natural product
The sensation is kinda cool
Makes your skin wonderfully soft
Clears away blackheads and sebum plugs
Generous container and a little goes a long way

Cons:

Takes an hour or two to dry on me
Leaves your face bright red for about half an hour. Incredibly visible on ridiculously pale skin like mine!
The ACV smell is quite strong, but I don't mind it.
You have to scrub it somewhat to get it fully off
Clog your drains when washed off in the sink
Not as effective on body acne
Hard to mix with water
Your dad might call you a zombie Everytime you walk in a room
Can't talk whilst wearing it
Tightens like no other
Clay dust sp

I've tried this with both water and Apple cider vinegar. With water the mixture becomes dense and lumpy. With ACV (a shop brand version bought for £1 near where I live) it bubbles up and smoothes itself out with little effort on your part. Make sure to use none metal materials to store and mix! I was worried that the ACV would burn my skin and make it bleed like baking soda does, however this was not the case. I couldn't even feel it while the mask was on. I use wet cotton wool balls to remove this mask as just washing it off will destroy your towels and drains - obviously, it's clay after all. You'll be green and smell for a while then be bright red for a bit after that too. That's normal. I use this mask every night. It's extremely drying, bit nothing oil free moisturizer can't fix. I leave it on for as long as it takes to dry - usually an hour or two - then for half an hour after that. The pulsating sensation is strong but not painful or unpleasant. The blackheads on my nose and sebum plugs on my chin are instantly reduced. You can only see the difference in my whiteheads the next morning - the deep ones form a head, the shallow ones dry up and scab over and overall they look smaller and are less painful. I've been having some problems with lumpy clogged pores since trying to use shea butter as a moisturizer. Nothing has shifted these except this mask. It's turned a few of them into spots and basically flattened the rest. This means my skin looks and feels much smoother than it did before. At £7 for a good sized jar I'd recommend you try this. It's not an instant solution but it does provide quick improvement. I did not have an initial breakout as of such - well, I did, but it came from the pre existing clogged pores, so it was obvious that that was all it was, and it wasn't that obvious to be honest. Try it and see!

Absolutely in love!
I have sensitive oily/ combination skin and I am also as pale as it gets. I have had acne since I was about 14, it's been sparse to moderate mostly but I get painful under the skin pimples on my chin around the time of the month. Most products are too harsh and make my face worse ( I'm also, stupidly, a picker.. I just can't help it). But this product is amazing! It didn't irritate my skin and it makes my scars look better and the acne irritation less noticeable. I mix about a teaspoon of raw honey and 1/2 ACV 1/2 water. It really brings the under the skin pimples to the surface and eases the pain. It has helped clear my nasty blackheads and even helped heal the acne I've picked at. Also, what has helped me bring under the skin pimples out is to soak them with a hot but tolerable to skin washcloth for a few minutes and then apply the mask. This stuff is great for just spot treatment in between masks too. I've also started mixing 100% Argan Oil in with my moisturizer to help with my oily skin and to help with acne/ scars. It is non-comedogenic and you only need a few drops so it lasts forever! :)

Should I carry on using?
I used this product and it cleared my skin for a few days but after that my acne has become worse than before after using it several times. I'm so embarrassed to even go out the house it's that bad!! Will I ever reach a point where this stops breaking me out? ( it's been 5 weeks) Or should I stop using it?

Pros:

-Leave face smoother than before
-Feel it working
-Clears up acne

Cons:

-Messy!

I've used soo many products to control my acne and this mask has reduce so much of the inflammation! My skin becomes smoother every time I use it (every night). I mix the mask with apple cider vinegar & leave on until my face is completely dry & cracked & then wash off with warm water & soap. I use Carly's Clear and Smooth's natural soap before & after I apply the mask, which gets all product off. In the past I've used proactive, murad, acnefree, blue light therapy, antibiotics, prescription topical treatments, nature's cure, carly's clear and smooth, dan's over the counter regime, eliminated dairy, gluten, sugar, put on birth control, I've seen 4 family doctors, 2 dermatolgists,1aseticain & the list goes on... Also I've continued to keep dairy, all gains & sugars out of my diet. I've never seen such quick requests with Aztec Healing Clay! If you suffer from horrible skin like I did please try using this every night it may be your answer to clear skin! I'll post back next week for an update!!

IMMEDIATE RESULTS
I have had acne for YEARS now and not a lot has helped. Only recently started using retinol which definitely worked to minimize the acne (you might want to consider that too). However, my pores are huge, I still break out, and still have a few scars. I bought this just recently and after the first use, like right after I washed it off, my pores shrank! The day after, I also noticed the redness from healing pimples went away, and my skin was so smooth. It's definitely worth trying.

amazing!!
I never normally write reviews but I thought I should this time. I had moderately severe acne, I had alot of pimples on my forehead, my chin, someon my cheeks, and these weird ones above my lip and under my nose? But anyways, I bought this stuff thinking maybe it would help out a bit. Little did I know, this stuff was my miracle. I didn't see results the first time, nor did i the second. But by the third time I started to notice a difference and my skin has been getting better ever since. I mix it with equal parts apple cider vinegar and add a few drops of tea tree oil. I strongly recommend this.

Do you mean mix it with the mask or use it before or after?
July 20, 2010

Pros:

Purges oil, pus and impurities from pores, Softens skin, Improves all around texture of skin, Alleviates redness, Diminishes pimples

Cons:

A little messy, A little uncomfortable

I'm going to get to the point. This mask is excellent! It is so powerful, it literally sucks all of the impurities out of your skin. I mix about two heaping tablespoons of the clay with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and smooth over my skin. In about five minutes, you feel the mask tightening your skin, and your skin actually pulsates! I leave it on for about fifteen minutes and wash off with warm water. If you leave this mask on too long, you may start to look like an elf from the forest, because the mask tightens the skin very powerfully. That aside, this is one of the best masks I've used to combat oil, redness and pimples. Use it about twice a week, and you will see a difference in the clarity of your skin.
