Pros:

Cheap, easy to use, safe on skin

Cons:

May bleach coloured fabrics

I've used this for a couple of days on an outbreak of tropical acne on my chest. It has helped to dry out the pustules but hasn't helped the associated redness of skin. No new pustules seem to be forming.

Pros:

Zaps pimples quickly (not as quickly as lavender oil!)

Cons:

Damages skin

Ok people, everyone, please use this on your skin at your own risk. I am in my early 20s and have normal skin with occasional breakouts, so I thought I would give this a try. It worked ok, but it was not worth what it has done to my skin. I have nice complexion, except for light patches caused by using this stuff a couple of weeks ago. It's not noticeable to anyone else, (I think) but I can see it up close and that is NOT ok. I am afraid of how long it will stay. It could be worse for someone else, who knows, and obviously it works fine for others. Bottom line is that there are so many other cheap natural remedies for pimples (decaf green tea bags are cheap and very effective for me) try those first. This is a great website to do research. USE THIS STUFF AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Pros:

lightens scars, on OLD scars only

Cons:

Destroys new skin cells that are growing to heal the scar, thus the scar forms.

There may be an initial bubbling which seems like something good is happening, BUT ITS NOT. It causes a scab to form, and it also destroys new cells which are being made to heal the scar, and a scar is made. I would recommend that when there is a scrape, pimple burst, etc. that you moisturize, put honey OR aloe vera to promote cell healing, and cover it with a bandage, it prevents a scar from being formed. Pros:

Works pretty well. Stops puss/bleeding. Bleaches skin. CHEAP!!

Cons:

Watery, big bottle, stings on open wounds,

My skin's pretty stubborn and this stuff gets me totally clear (along with BCP, retin-A, and antibiotics) Except for a bunch of bumps on my chin that won't ever go away!! But other than my darn chin everything's good. **If you skip it one day, you'll break out.

Pros:

Price, Easy to use, Dries up pimples fast

Cons:

Hard to travel with, WILL BLEACH YOUR EYEBROWS AND HAIR LINE!!

I've been using HP for about a week... At first it worked really fast and my face seemed much clearer. I think I over used this, so please use this only when needed. I was using this a few times a day which I think is way too much. I have a tendency of over doing it when I find something that works. I am also doing the Baking Soda face scub too...It seems to be helping quite a bit. Hydrogen Peroxide will absolutly lighten your eyebrows and hair line so be extra careful. Don't freak out when it bubbles up on your face...It's only doing what its supposed to. DO NOT PICK AT YOU FACE!!! Major problem I have...always have to pick my face. Now I am paying the price so please if you do this STOP!! I know it's hard but stop it immediately!! Luckly I don't have scars but I got lucky with as much as I mess with my face. Good Luck!! :)

Pros:

Doesn't dry out face much
Doesn't smell
Your body also naturally produces it!

Cons:

Bleaches your skin a little bit...but that's it.
PACKAGING SUCKS
It's hard to soak a cotton swab without dumping the whole damn thing

Give it a try. If you get the undiluted stuff, make sure you dilute it to around 3%. Also, It doesn't kill GOOD bacteria like Antibiotics do.
