Pros:

- Great for post zit-popping
- Clears skin

Cons:

- Smells and tastes bad
- Burns
- Dries skin
- Takes some time to see results
- Can be counterproductive if used too often

I used to use HP twice a day like you would use a toner (apply some to a cotton pad and wipe all over face) but I think it was too much for my skin (note I have sensitive skin) and caused all these little rough bumps and some whiteheads. I think this happened because using it that much irritated my skin. I switched to using it once a day at night (sometimes skipping a day) and it's much better. I've found that it's amazing for popped zits. I used to pop a zit and then the next day it would be back with no improvement. Now, I pop the zit and pour HP on it and the next day it's dried out. Many people say it's better to use a cotton pad/q-tip to apply HP rather than to pour it directly on your face, but for me pouring it on a just-popped zit is much more effective. However, be SUPER careful if you do it this way, you don't want to get it in your eyes, hair or clothes. For that reason, I wouldn't pour it on a zit on my forehead, but I do for pimples on my cheeks/chin/etc. Also, doing this may cause the infected area to turn white. This happened to me tonight, but I put some warm water on a tissue and held it on the white skin for 10 mins and it was much better. Just be careful and educate yourself on the proper usage and precautions of HP!

Pros:

Can see it working
Is less drying than other acne medication
Does help create the puss to pop a pimple

Cons:

have none
stinging is not that bad

Its worth a try. However, no matter what, pimples takes time to disappear. But over drying makes them looks worse and more red.

Pros:

Dries up pimples.
Helps with healing process.
Non irritating.
Cheap & available.

Cons:

Definitely not a long term product.
Can be over drying.
Really doesn't help with deep cystic acne.
Doesn't help with fading scars or hyperpigmentation.

Everyone's skin is different I have combination skin and I get whiteheads and cystic acne. This really didn't help me it dried up some pimples but if you're looking for a cure or a long term type of product then I suggest keep looking.

Pros:

Helps initially.
Kills bacteria.
Reduces oil.

Cons:

Not good for your skin in the long term.
Quite harsh.
Makes redness worse.

After dealing with acne for like 7 years I'm desperate and will try anything, so when my mom said to try it I did. I used this all over my face for a couple weeks and it cleared my skin a lot within the first week but after that it was no longer amazing. The bottom line is that it is probably good for spot treating stubborn pimples occasionally but it's not magic or anything unfortunately, and there are definitely way better things out there for your skin.

Pros:

I had blackheads everywhere. And the occassionally zit. but the main thing was the blacksheads on my nose, chin, forehead, and its like they were spread to my cheeks it was bad. I figured what do i have to lose. Two day already see improvement.

Cons:

It can dry your face out, but just rinse it off after about a couple minutes. Then mousurize!! It also will bleach your eyebrows, BEWARE!

Works, a work that you can feel. The deep clean. I used everything in the world for acne. Who knew like the best solution was in my first aid cabinet!! I dont know if and or what the side effects are though. I have senitive skin pretty bad, and it didnt bother it!

Pros:

-Cheap
-Heals cystic acne very quickly

Cons:

-None that I can think of

On Monday of this week I had 2 huge, painful cystic pimples and was at a loss about to do. Since they were bleeding and painful I cleaned them with HP and went to bed. When I got up they were about 60% gone! Today is Saturday and not only are they completely gone my scars have diminished greatly. It cost me $1.20 CAD for a bottle, so give it a shot!

Pros:

Feels refreshing, low price, large quantity, simplicity.

Cons:

dries out your skin but with a good moisturizer you should be fine.

I just got off of Dan's Regimen and it worked but the effort was too much and BP kept shedding my skin like crazy. I have tried everything else too: oxy, anti-biotics, scrubs, washes, lemon juice, urine therapy, just everything. Hydrogen Peroxide is only $1!!!!! It's been about 4 days now and I'm starting to see less acne. Some spots are starting to break out more but I think it's just the initial response to starting out. It's so easy and fast to use. I apply it with a cotton ball on twice a day and put on moisturizer afterwards. Wish me luck!
