Pros:

- Does not clog pores
- Moisturizes so well
- Gives skin a whole new clarity overall

Cons:

- Takes a long time to liquify if crystallized

Raw organic honey is the safest bet, sometimes i use it with cinnamon, sometimes with an egg yolk, sometimes alone and once with milk. I've never found an on-the-shelf moisturizer that did as much as honey and i never will cuz im done looking! I live in southern Canada were we have a cold winter every year and that wind and -35 celcius can wreck havok on skin, making you look older and just unattractive. Honey is just amazing, and i think we'd be blown away if we discovered just how many God-made natural remedies there are! If its crystallized, you can use it as an exfoliant and if you put it in hot (not boiling, cuz that pasturizes it) water to liquify, its sheer moisture and is completely safe with acne.

Pros:

Worked great. Reduces redness and makes skin appear cleaner.

Cons:

sticky but im sure you knew that

I used it for the first time and saw noticeable affects right away. My skin was dry but after 15 mins. of the mask it was silky smooth. I've tried many creams and found that they do more harm than good, atleast for me. I went to the doc and she gave me cream and it made things far worse so I stopped using it. I still have a little acne but it was far far worse. I found the best cure is lifestyle change. Eat fruit and vegetables instead of chips and candy and exercise and stop worrying because your not the only one. I have also found drinking green tea to be helpful. I use to have quite a poor lifestyle. No exercise and a very very unhealthy diet. I pulled a complete 180 though and eat healthy and exercise for atleast 45 mins daily. I know its hard for some to change their habits but I'm certain once you've adapted to a healthier lifestyle you will be pleased.

Pros:

Reduced redness and inflammation of the skin. Reduced both Inflammatory and noninflammatory acne on my face; reduced pustule and papules and prevented whiteheads from getting bigger.

Makes skin very soft. Great moisturizer for skin!

Cons:

Sticky, the honey will drip.

I applied an abundant amount of pure honey to my face and within a couple hours my complexion was clearer; no redness, pimples reduced in size.

Pros:

Comforts my skin and reducces the feeling of having pimples as it calms inflamation. Keeps skin soft and healthy so pimples are less likely to form. MOSTERIZES my skin

Cons:

None

Honey Is the BEST product for ance I have ever used. I put it on about 3 times a week right before I take a shower and have it wash off in the shower. I do this only on days on which I do not shave to avoid irritaion.

Pros:

leaves skin soft and silky makes pores less visable

Cons:

if you put it on to thick it will drip and get u messy

i boil water over the stove ... then remove it and put a towel over my head and the bowl of water and get close to the hot water but not to close that it burns but close enough that the steam goes staight to your face.... then once the pores are open and i do this for about 5-10 min then i pat a lil with the towel and with 2 drops of lemon in the honey mask thin layer on for about 20 min then rince off with cool water Enjoy!

Pros:

It has worked wonders for me. I use it every night. I wash my face and then apply it as is and leave it on for at least 20 minutes then rinse off. The key is to put a thin layer also.

Cons:

None at all, love it!

Its amazing, my skin has never looked better. It doesn't magically work over night, it takes awhile of using it..as with anything really but once you consistantly use it, it keeps your skin clear. I get a pimple here and there, but they go away fairly quickly. Remember, use a thin layer...the thicker you do it the messier and it doesn't seem to work as well.

Pros:

works, cheap

Cons:

some people can have adverse reactions, so be careful to try it on a small area first

dont leave it for too long, only 15 minutes is enough, start 5 min first day, to just see what happens to ur skin :) i mix it with starch (corn or whatever) so it is not runny.

Pros:

It's a natural product, so you know what you are putting on your face.

Cons:

It's sticky to apply
It doesn't look very elegant, so you may want to hide from others while it's on.
It takes patience

I have been using honey to get a more even skin tone. I had dark blemishes on my cheeks caused by an anti-acne medicine the docter prescribed (resorcinol). Before applying the honey I spread lactic acid on the dark patches. Then I mix the honey with a tad lactic acid. It's my guess the acid helps the bleaching properties of the honey. In the past I've worn the mask overnight, but this was too much of a hassle. So now I wear it during the day time. My dark patch on the left cheek has become significantly smaller. It's a bit more difficult to fade the damage on the right cheek, since the blemishes are more red there. However, I will continue using it because it makes my skin feel incredibly soft!

Pros:

It's very hydrating, alleviates redness, and leaves skin deliciously soft :)

Cons:

Doesn't help too much with actually getting rid of acne...
Also, it drips! Very annoying and it is hard to spread around, but hey, that's just whining.

It will make your face more pleasant overall and it will let your skin rest from the barrage of acne meds. Deff try this if you've recently done something to inflame or severely dry out your skin, it will be very soothing. But make sure to use organic honey, as everyone else is saying.
