Pros:

Definitely helps fade hyperpigmentation, but does so slowly, you really start to see improvement after 4-5 weeks.

Makes your skin ULTRA SMOOTH

Cons:

I can only find it in a small 2.5 oz bottle size

Did cause mild irritation the first few times especially, and caused very light redness for an hour or so after application for the first couple weeks.

If you are willing to ease your skin into it, and get used to the immediate irritation it causes until your skin is used to it, it does wonders for mild/moderate hyperpigmentation and smooths out your skin.

Pros:

Works well. Light and not too shiny. (I never even noticed a smell.) Great thing: they have SPF for day and a non-SPF for night. Am very pleased to have an alpha hydroxy that keeps my skin looking fresh while keeping my pimples away.

Cons:

It's no Eucerin, but it definitely takes the place until Dan finishes up his magic formula.

I tried the Cetaphil and wasn't happy with the fact that it lacked the Alpha Hydroxy. I was a devout Eucerin user and was totally bummed when it went away. I am very much looking forward to Dan's moisturizer but will keep on using this product until Dan's is available. Thank you Dan for making all of this information available to the public. You are so appreciated! The regime truly works and you have done so much for my self-esteem. It's really tough looking in the mirror and despising what you see and not being able to do anything about it (except take medication which is worse for you in the long run). I rave about acne.org and will keep on buying your products, not only in gratitude, but because THEY WORK! :-)

Pros:

Smells good, not harsh, see results almost immediately

I just started using this in place of my old moisturizer and I love it! The redness in my face (from acne) has started to subside, my skin glows and feels smoother. Highly reccomended!

This is not a product for sensitive skin. I've used both the cream and lotion for a long time and always been happy with the results. I have thick, tough, oily skin. If you don't, you might have stinging, redness and a host of other problems. It does fade red marks and aid in the turnover of skin cells. I love it!

I LOVE IT!

I get complimented on my skin, and it's the perfect balance if you use the suggested amount.

Pros:

My 60-year old skin is on the dry side. This miracle-working lotion evens out lines, keeps my skin glowing and smooth. I use 3 pumps, morning and night. Use it under Healthy Defense light tint during the day.

Cons:

none

Because I don't have acne or oily skin, I can't respond to some of the reviewers' comments about it being too oily. I love this stuff. I only use it during the day in the summer months because of sensitivity to sunlight. HIGHLY recommend!! I have used this for 10 years.

Pros:

none

Cons:

stings, makes your skin red, burns, expensive, doesnt help with flaking, irritates skin, will make you break out and leave red marks

I tried using this and I have pretty sensitive skin, used at night after bp which I use twice a day and it burns, stings and made my face really red. seemed to irritate and caused major breakout. beware if you have sensitive skin!! I now use the CereVe skin products which were recommended by my derm and work a lot better then this stuff

Pros:

Some areas of my face have evened out

Cons:

Scent is too strong, burns my eyes. I have been breaking out with cystic pimples, not sure if it is product or not. Skin looks and feels greasy after application.

Have been using for about two weeks, not sure if I should keep using product. May not be for me.

Cons:

SMELLS LIKE FEET!!!!!!

I Like this lotion, but it smells like feet. So, I can only stand to use it in the evening.

Pros:

-Has AHA in it
-Smells nice
-Moisturizes your skin

Cons:

-Not enough AHA in the product which might not help clear up your skin completely
-Not enough sun protection in it
-Stings upon application of zits & near eyes. Makes your face look shiny

I bought this initially for the sun protection and the added benefits of AHA. This doesn't have enough AHA for some people so it might be not be as affective as an 6%/8%/10% AHA product. I think it smells nice. It does moisturize but doesn't leave me feeling greasy. The reason that is look oily on your skin is because it's got small glitter particles in the lotion. Put some on top of your hand and blend it in and you can see the glitter particles. I wear primer over it to make my face look less greasy and a dusting of powder and it works for me. I will likely use my bottle up but only use it in the winter because it doesn't have enough SPF protection in it and AHA makes your skin light sensitive. You need a minumum SPF 30 for protection-especially in the summer. If you try layering a higher SPF over top of it, the sunscreen that you add just balls up on the skin. Not a bad product if you have light to moderate acne and scarring. I have moved on to a higher AHA and
