Pros:

Does moisturize and the AHA's seem effective.

Cons:

Super greasy!!! I got stuck wearing this at a summer wedding outside and it made me look so shiny and gross. SPF is counterbalanced by the exfoliators, so it really needs more SPF, of you should only wear it at night. Smell irritates my eyes/nose.

Tried Oil of Olay product that was similar and it worked great without the cons!

Pros:

-Best moisturizer out there. I've used quite a few, but I like this best.
-Helps speed up scar fading process with AHA.

Cons:

-Expensive. Small bottle-$10
-Fragrance. Personally I love it, but I know a lot of people who hate it.

My face is full of scars, so i scoured the internet for a good solution. I stumbled on AHA, a chemical that that doesn't exfoliate, but supposedly unglues the first layer of your skin off. sounds crazy, but i was getting really frustrated with my scars. I can tell that it is def helping. Give it a try and see if you like it.

Pros:

it does what it says. It makes your skin exfoliate 4 times faster than normal

Cons:

it makes your skin peel like crazy. I don't even want to get out of the house!

I haven't read this in anyones review, but i have noticed that when I apply it, a few hours later I am peeling like crazyyyyyyyyy. I do not have sensitive skin. I know that after all the peeling is gone, then beautiful skin will be revealed underneath, but as of now I look like - lets just say its not a look you can sport while going to the grocery store. However, I broke out with a couple of pimples the other day, gobbed this stuff on at night (very gently) on my pimples after Dan's BP and in the morning the redness subsided a lot.

Pros:

makes my skin smooth and more even toned.

Cons:

Causes a bit of burning and redness.

I use this combination with a number of treatments and my skin is almost close to perfect. However, this is a harsh reg. for pple with sensitive skin. Morning wash face with cetaphil normal/oily face wash. apply 5% benzagel on troubled areas. wait at least 10 minutes and then apply neutrogena healthy skin lotion. Night wash face with cetaphil normal/oily face wash. wait 30min and apply stievamycin to get rid of post acne marks.

Pros:

scars fading and acne is at bay with this and bp.

Cons:

first 4 weeks made my face oily looking and red after application. takes getting used to.

reduces pimples in combo with bp. scars seem to fade quicker. BE PATIENT it does not work over night.

Pros:

Definitely helps fade hyperpigmentation, but does so slowly, you really start to see improvement after 4-5 weeks.

Makes your skin ULTRA SMOOTH

Cons:

I can only find it in a small 2.5 oz bottle size

Did cause mild irritation the first few times especially, and caused very light redness for an hour or so after application for the first couple weeks.

If you are willing to ease your skin into it, and get used to the immediate irritation it causes until your skin is used to it, it does wonders for mild/moderate hyperpigmentation and smooths out your skin.

Pros:

Works well. Light and not too shiny. (I never even noticed a smell.) Great thing: they have SPF for day and a non-SPF for night. Am very pleased to have an alpha hydroxy that keeps my skin looking fresh while keeping my pimples away.

Cons:

It's no Eucerin, but it definitely takes the place until Dan finishes up his magic formula.

I tried the Cetaphil and wasn't happy with the fact that it lacked the Alpha Hydroxy. I was a devout Eucerin user and was totally bummed when it went away. I am very much looking forward to Dan's moisturizer but will keep on using this product until Dan's is available. Thank you Dan for making all of this information available to the public. You are so appreciated! The regime truly works and you have done so much for my self-esteem. It's really tough looking in the mirror and despising what you see and not being able to do anything about it (except take medication which is worse for you in the long run). I rave about acne.org and will keep on buying your products, not only in gratitude, but because THEY WORK! :-)

Pros:

Smells good, not harsh, see results almost immediately

I just started using this in place of my old moisturizer and I love it! The redness in my face (from acne) has started to subside, my skin glows and feels smoother. Highly reccomended!

This is not a product for sensitive skin. I've used both the cream and lotion for a long time and always been happy with the results. I have thick, tough, oily skin. If you don't, you might have stinging, redness and a host of other problems. It does fade red marks and aid in the turnover of skin cells. I love it!

Pros:

evens skin tone, lightens red marks, etc.

Cons:

irritates skin, bad smell

This stuff is good at lightening red marks, and evening skin tone, but if you're experiencing irritation, you should try to find the sensitive skin product of this. In the O.C., they sell it at drugstores like CVS. But because it's for sensitive skin, it doesn't have SPF.
