Pros:

Green tea quinches my thirst. It is a great change from plain water. Now when I crave soda pop or coffee I just drink a cup of iced green tea. Less calories and is way better for you.

Cons:

None so far except I have to use the restroom more often due to the amount I drink.

I started drinking green tea about two weeks ago. I have found it has clearly had an effect on my acne. I have not had any new breakouts and it seems to clear up old acne that was lingering. I have tried many thing to clear up my moderate acne and this seems to be working the best and the fastest.

Pros:

Health benefits, cheap, soothing, tasty

Cons:

none!

I've tried rubbing the warm teabag onto my face then sweeping a piece of ice over my face afterward just recently. It makes my face feel very fresh, and Ive noticed a lot less red irritation on my face, it seems to help my acne disappear a few days faster, and it wipes off the excess oil off my face, which means I dont have to wash my face as often and theres less irritation and dryness. Im going to try a green-tea face steam once a week too to see if it helps any too. My acne isnt completely gone, but it seems much easier to manage and keep under control this way.

The miracle for acne!

The ONLY miracle for acne!!!!

I have acne on my face, pimples, red inflamed skin, and really bad back acne. I have tried really everything possible on earth to cure my acne. But nothing helped. I have tried Vitamin C, zinc, b5, different teas, fish oil, chlorella, vitamin a, vitamin d, and many many more. Nothing helped.

Now i am drinking green tea. After only two! days of drinking 2 to 3 small cups of organic caffeine free green tea, my acne is all gone. It is so amazing and i cannot believe how well it works. The redness is gone, less oil on the face and no new pimples, plus the old ones fade away so fastly! It's just amazing. It works like nothing else. It's my miracle cure. Finally found my cure. Hope it helps you too. I recommend to buy caffeine free green tea, because the caffeine tends to make my skin more red. Only the caffeine free tea works for me.

Amazing!
In the last year my skin had been getting increasingly worse: I started breaking out on my scalp, chest and shoulders and also suffered from cystic acne on my face. I tried drinking more water but it wasn't helping. I found these reviews and started drinking green tea straight away. I always have it at home but only drink it a few times a week, my preferred drink being black tea with milk in it (a true Brit!). I changed to loose leaf green tea (like in the picture shown on the left) and the result was apparent the next day, my skin looked less angry. I am now on week three and my skin has completely cleared up, apart from one tiny spot next to my mouth. The redness and inflammation is almost all gone and I think I will be confident enough to go out without makeup soon! I have been using it as a face mask: sometimes I get powdered green tea (matcha) and mix it with aloe vera gel, sometimes I just use the tea by itself on plain cotton wool pads. I'm so happy to have found this natural healing method! I still use the regimen and have been doing so for years, but it has become less effective over time. I'm hoping that green tea will help to clear the cause of my acne so I won't need to use the BP any more. So silly really, I've been brought up with Chinese medicine and I always knew that green tea was cooling, which meant it counteracted the effects of spices and fried/roasted foods, but for some reason I never thought of using it as a treatment. Well now I've started using it I won't be returning to my milky tea! I'll just have one mug a day and then the rest of my drinks will be green tea. I'm averaging about 4 large mugs a day. I've got a whole variety in my cupboard, from flavoured ones to matcha. My favourite is jasmine tea! Give it a go, and if you don't like the taste, try a different brand, but I would recommend good quality loose tea rather than bags, which are just full of tea dust from the bottom of the batch.

Green Tea definitely works - Make sure its quality though!!
This definitely worked for me- it could be the combo of cutting out my daily coffee and replacing it with green tea, but either way I know this has contributed to my glowing skin. I have been drinking several cups of green tea for about two weeks now, and I noticed immediately a decrease in sebum (my skin gets very oily), and I haven't had any new breakouts occurring. I'm really happy with the results and will continue to drink this daily. Word of caution, make sure yours is quality green tea, not lipton or something as you may not get the best benefits out of it. I am using a company called sphere jasmine green tea (loose leaves), straight from China. Pricey but a little goes a long way, delicious and not to bitter, highly recommend.

Pros:

Tastes great

This is my experience and that must be taken into consideration when reading this as all skin is different and different things work for different peoples skin. Around two years ago I started to get quite a few black heads and a few puss filled spots. fast forward a year later and I started to break out really bad with a few cysts here and there. It was at that stage that I really started to research how to controll my acne and one of the first things I found was green tea. For the past year I have been drinking the stuff religiously trying multiple differnt brands (But mianloy drinking TickTok decafinated green tea). During this time I have tried different topical lotions (benzyol peroxide which helped clear my black heads up and clindamycin which worked well with a strict vega diet of absoultly no grains, sweets, cakes deep fried foods and all thta crap) Bottom line is it didn't work for me but I'm still drinking it because I love the stuff and it tastes great. It's inexpensive so i will recomend anyone to try it as you have nothing to loose.

Pros:

Takes out the redness when applied to the face.

Cons:

None :)

I read online that if you let green tea brew and cool down and let it get strong (I leave the green tea brew 15-30 mins) and apply to your skin it will take out redness. Also drinking it is good.
