Pros:

Significantly clearer skin, much less oil production. Cheap, even if using three tea bags a day.

Cons:

Can be messy when applied topically. Have to apply it three times a day, at least.

I've used green tea topically for the last three months and it has done wonders. A few suggestions: *Use decaf green tea. Caffeine makes acne worse and when you apply caffeinated green tea topically, the caffeine absorbs through the skin. If you are only using it topically, the caffeine provides no benefit at all. *If you're drinking it, also skip the caffeine. *The topical effects and not related to the consumption effects. Green tea works topically whether you drink it or not. *Find a green tea that is decaffeinated naturally, with CO2 not with chemicals. Chemical decaffeination strips out a lot of critical antioxidants. *You can (and probably should) use green tea with benzoyl peroxidize. If I use anything else with BP, in inflames my skin and I break out. That's not the case with green tea, which is extraordinarily anti-inflammatory. *I apply green tea in the morning & night and layer GT over it. In the afternoon, I wash with water and re-apply GT. Works wonder

Pros:

drinking green tea is helps, but washing your face in it is even better. steep the tea for a long time; the hue should be dark brown. you can use it cold or hot. wash when you normally wash your face. atleast twice per day. acne clears up daily.

Cons:

tea may stain the bathroom. a bit time consuming if you're really busy. a pain to lug that big bowl up and down the stairs. but it helps. it's worth it.

nice. wash it, not drink it. though drinking is nice and proved to relax the body and mind.

Good source of antioxidant
Good for your overall health but didn't cure my skin issue. It gave me hyperacidity. I suffer from acid reflux if I drink it 1s a day.

Pros:

Its fairly cheap, and easy to get your hands on it. I really like the taste (especially green tea with lemon).

Cons:

I wouldnt say its cleared up my skin.Infact, id say its become worse now, after drinking no other type of green besides green (and redbush tea at night)

I used to have really bad skin when i was younger, but after going on the Pill (Marvelon), my skin cleared up an awful lot. Since becoming a vegetarian my skin has been a lot better. I started drinking Redbush tea at night, just because its tastes so good, and i found my skin was getting better! So i started drinking green tea a little more often, but since drinking it instead of normal tea and milk, i find my skin is now worse. I tend to find a lot of my spots are at the lower part of my face, which ive heard is hormonal, but it certainly didnt used to be this bad. Im in two minds whether to continue with the green tea, or to just stop and hope itll go back to what it was before. My skin does feel very smooth, but i have more spots now than before.. Not very impressed at all!!!!

Pros:

Green tea does reduce SBHG,which traps free testosterone. (Acne is an androgenic disorder). This means lower DHT and 5 alpha reductase levels. Drink a large pot daily. Use Niacin 250mg, B5, B6, and zinc daily with a meal. Ignore skin irritation.

Cons:

Men may suffer from Andropause, eradication of acne is great, but say good bye to that super sex drive and super erections your used to!!! Any rebound will bring back the drive AND the acne.Been there done that. You cant have one without the other!

Acne can be defeated! Detoxify your blood, eat clean, take niacin 250, b5, b6, zinc and drink a big pot of green/black tea daily. But say good bye to that great sex drive.
