Pros:

very gentle, no fragrance, affordable

Cons:

not good for acne prone skin and/or oily skin

I used Cetaphil cleanser for about 5 months before realizing that it was actually clogging my pores, making my skin oilier and not cleaning my skin well enough (and I don't even wear foundation!). However, my husband whose skin is perfect and who is on the drier side loves this stuff. It was just too heavy for me. After that, I tried Neutrogena Fresh foam face wash and that was too drying. Finally I switched to Purpose gentle face wash which works very well for me. It gives my skin its perfect balance. I checked "no" in the "recommended" area simply because most people visiting this site is acne prone and on the oily side and would probably not benefit from Cetaphil. However, it is a great product if you are lucky and blessed with good skin. Also do not forget to wear a high quality suncreen everyday year round as most of the skin problems are kinked to sun exposure.

Pros:

nothing at all

Cons:

Made my skin inflamed fast,to light of a cleanser,felt like water,cost way to much for no reason

Bottom line is this stuff sucked i was better off doing what i did in the first place and that was a tip from a friend who washes her face with warm water and thats it. When I washed my face wit warm water it was cleaner than how it is now,and now i've wasted like 10 dollars on nothing. Very disappointed.

Pros:

This is a pretty good product, um have been using it for a while after looking at it here. I used to sue Clearasil but that was over drying my face way too much this barely dries it at all but feels ok.

Cons:

I would say this is too gentle as well. I just saw they came out with one for normal to oily skin which I may try to see if it drys a bit more but to jsut get your pores clean this will do it. DOnt use it expecting your face to be all dry and hard it

I would get it. If you have oily skin you might want to try the oily skin version and see if ti works.

Pros:

This cleanser did not irritate or overly dry my skin.

Cons:

However, it did make my acne worse.

If you have dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin, I would not use it if your aim is to clear up acne.

Pros:

Great cleanser, it doesnt leave the face too dry, real gentle

Cons:

its like rubbing a liquidy lotion on your face but i got used to it the first day of use

Really recommended for Regiment.

Pros:

Feels like your skin is being cleaned, leaves no dried up flakes. 5 for fragrance because I can barely notice it

Cons:

When it's on your face it feels disgusting. Definately will take some getting used to, and watch out when you first get it, it may not be as thick as you expect it to be.

I recommend it.

Pros:

absolutely perfect

I buy the bottle with the pump, more cost effective. The perfect cleanser for me, but I sometimes alternate with the gentle cleansing bar for more lather. I use differin at night, and this combo has given me perfect skin

Pros:

Doesn't dry out skin

Cons:

This stuff is way to runny. It seems like it doesn't lather at all. Not only that, but it smells horrible.

Not worth it. Although it's gentle, it doesn't feel like it cleans your skin because it is runny and has no lather. Also, I can't get past the smell.

Pros:

Cons:

doesnt do anything at all. my acne justsatyed the same

this might work for some people, but it definitely did not work for me. ive been using it for 3 years. it didnt change a thing
