Pros:

Lol this is silly but I like the bottle...anyways, I enjoy using it as it is so soft and agreeable. I wash it off with water on my face, but I also wash my chest with this cleanser and just use tissue to wipe it off. Effective either way.

Cons:

Quite pricey. I paid around £6 for my bottle, but I am willing to splash out if it helps keep my skin clearer. Its also very nice.

Trustworthy cleanser. Highly recommended as it has helped my acne prone skin. Bit expensive but it is worth it and I cant find anything similarly non-irritating/non-comedogenic on the UK market anyway so I'm happy to stick with Cetaphil.

Pros:

Cheap, large quantity, no fragrance, not too thick or thin.

Cons:

Can be too runny, may leave your face feeling greasy (like water bubbles up on it)

This is a very gentle cleanser - but for some people - it may be TOO gentle. The consistency is like a glycerin wash - but it doesn't contain glycerin. It helped heal up some cystic acne because it was nice and gentle - but after that healed up - it couldn't keep the oil off my skin (too gentle) so it created small pimples overall. If you need something very basic - try this. But even Dan's cleanser dries a bit more than this - to help with removing oil.

Pros:

Very gentle, smooth on skin, doesn't burn eyes. GREAT for eye makeup removal. Non-comedogenic.

Cons:

Does not remove foundation.

This is without a doubt the best cleanser I've ever used, and believe me, I've tried them all! I went to the dermatologist at age 15 with horrible acne and he recommended I use this as a starter for any kind of "regimen". I've noticed that nobody else has mentioned that this stuff CAN be used without water. It works just as well for me, I just towel it off. It's GREAT for eye makeup removal, but as for face makeup, well... wear non-comedogenic makeup! Love it. Word of advice: Buy the generic brand (Equate, Walgreen's, CVS). It's cheaper and works just the same.

Pros:

- Very gentle
- Does not dry out skin
- Perfect for removing eye makeup! (I actually use it more as an eye-makeup remover now)

Cons:

- Does not remove all of my foundation
- Does not remove any dead skin on the face
- Says "foaming action" but it has never foamed for me

I really love this cleanser, but at the same I find that it's almost too gentle for me. It doesn't remove makeup or surface gunk as well as I'd like, but I'm sure it would be fine for somebody that doesn't wear makeup. However, it's FANTASTIC for removing eye makeup! It doesn't sting, and it works so much better than the oil-based removers. Too bad it doesn't work as well for foundation. So, if you want a *really* gentle cleanser, and I mean gentle, then I think Cetaphil would be perfect for you. Especially if you have sensitive skin.

Pros:

It USED to be a decent product as it did not contain SLS. I used to use this product but the ingredients seem to have changed right along with the packaging.

Cons:

Contains a lot of irritating ingredients:
Propylene Glycol and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate are both known toxic skin irritants. This product also contains a bunch of parabens.
My skin reacted big time!

Ingredients: Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Stearyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben. Cetaphil used to "brag" on it's old packaging that it was "Sodium Lauryl Sulfate" free and now it is the fourth ingredient on the list. How a product can brag to be "gentle" yet contain so many harmful and irritating ingredients is beyond me. Google all the ingredients and see for yourself.

Pros:

gentle, fragrance free, doesn't dry your skin out. Leaves your skin feeler smoother and like you cleansed it with purifyig water or somethig.. i mean the feeling of using a facial cleanser non-existent (the tightness) :)

Cons:

the first day i used it (kinda tye only time, my skin was free of make up. It didnt feel like a very good clean though.. Cuz i used water on my face first. unexpectedly watery.. is mine overdue?

VERRY suitable for sensitive (allergic reaction) skin and acne prone skin. Also good for people who do not feel brave enought o use cleanser due to all the chemicals included. Cetaphil is cheap n feels natural. haha feels like im doing a commercial lol i bought the 500ml pump pack cetaphil gentle skin cleanser for $10 at chemist warehouse btw <3
