Pros:

Completely cleared my skin

Cons:

Tastes bad! Really bad!!

I started eating abt 8 raw cloves of garlic a day and gradually increased it to 14. Having had moderate to severe acne, my skin has pretty much cleared out. I also take megadoses of Vitamin C(4-6gms). I absolutely have no more acne problems. Gr8 stuff!! Abt. eating raw garlic, my advice wld be to chew 1-2 cloves until it is crushed and then swallow it with a glass of water. PS: Don't put it on ur face. Its not meant to be applied topically.

Pros:

It reduces the size of the pimple
Skin looks better than before

Cons:

If you do not dilute, it will sting and cause a burn

I have been eating garlic for two days. I used my juicer to juice half of one garlic and one half of a cucumber. I mixed it and applied to my three pimples three times during over night. When I woke up the size of the pimples were reduced in size and not as red. I have to wait and see how eating two bulbs per day will affect my skin. I am on Gillette birth control pills also and they work but I still break out sometimes.

Pros:

Reduced amount of pimples on face and helped remove others.

Cons:

The smell has proven to be quite annoying. It leaves the skin red where the garlic has been applied for quite a while.

I've tried the garlic for about a week now. All the really ugly pimples on the left side of my face are gone and have not come back. I do get little ones here and there but with the application of garlic on them they are gone the next day. On the right side of my face three pimples have turned in to more like bug bites. They are slowly going away. I don't know if the garlic caused this. Though, nothing else has popped up there either. So far anything new that shows up each morning are tiny little pimples that disappear the next day after garlic is applied.

Pros:

Works great. Pimples disappear.

Cons:

Smelly

Use carefully. Never let it over night may cause burns. Use it for 5 minutes max and wash face. May be diluted with a bit of water. Worked great as opposed to all the expensive creams/ treatments tried before.

Pros:

Turns your skin, sweat and blood antibacterial (when swallowed raw).

Cons:

burns an empty stomach like crazy.

Garlic has a natural antibacterial chemical called allicin. Allicin is what causes halitosis after eating garlic bread. This happens b/c allicin is carried by the blood, still potent. I finely mince a clove of garlic and swallow it with iced tea or water like a pill. Because of the smell i like to do this at night, before going to sleep. Works even better when done before sleep and after waking up (after eating something). Garlic burns. Do not eat on an empty stomach. I tried garlic topically once and it burned like crazy. Comparatively, eating raw garlic is much nicer and is more effective (b/c your sweat is now antibacterial). BECAUSE GARLIC BURNS LIKE CRAZY, i only use this when i'm desperate and NEED IMMEDIATE RESULTS(like, before a job interview).

How did you do the garlic soap?
November 11, 2009

Pros:

Prevents other breakouts and possible breakouts.

Cons:

Burn scars if u are not careful

Do NOT use it overnight for sensitive skins. Unless your skin is less sensitive, feel free to use it overnight or u will end up with a garlic burn scar and its not a pretty sight to see. Use it for 5-20minutes for sensitive skins everyday for a week. It should work. Make sure u rinse and wash it thoroughly. Best to be continued with skin toner and moisturizer such as olive oil or maybe your own skin products.

Pros:

White heads are gone. Pimples are dried out quicker.

Cons:

Smell.

I've been using garlic for, what? going on three weeks now. I apply it topically to all of my face. I cut each clove into pieces and then run it over my skin. I leave the juice on over night, wash my face in the morning, apply the juice again, wait 20 minutes and then rinse it off. Also, every morning I cut up a large clove and swollow the pieces. I repeat this at night. It works wonderfully but if I don't stay consistent all of my progress is lost. I'm going to buy garlic suppliments to see if that helps. I want to stop doing this topically because of the smell and how long I spend applying it each day. Also, no one has any information on the possible long term effects of this. Wish me luck. I'll keep ya updated.

Pros:

Garlic wont cure your acne on its own, but it helps. Ive been taking some odorless garlic capsules for the past while and notice a slight improvement. Consistency is the key, keep taking them! Consume internally, don't apply it on your skin. Its chea

Cons:

That you have to buy it in capsule form to avoid the smell, and it costs more then buying garlic by itself in a supermarket.

Worth a shot IN CONJUNCTION with other products. Give it some time to work. Do not apply on your skin or you may get a horrible reaction, eat it!

Pros:

Dries up much of the acne first day. Left my skin with a glowing radiance the second day. I love it!

Cons:

Does leave a burning sensation for maybe the first half hour, because of the Allicin it contains. And it does make you smell lovely.....haha!

Pour a tbsp of Olive Oil into a small bowl, then crush a clove of garlic into it. Dip a cotton ball into the liquid and apply to face or problem areas. I think that the olive oil protects and soothes the skin while allowing the ingredients in the garlic to do its work. I am using it every night on my skin, and am also using the garlic that is left over to take internally. When you eat it, though make sure you just start with a tiny bit at first, as it can cause some "ickiness" if your'e body is not used to eating raw garlic. Garlic has powerful antioxidants that are destroyed when it is put under heat, so getting our bodies used to eating it raw is a great idea. Healing starts from within. Also, eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables can help to cleanse our bodies of the many toxins we are exposed to every day, and besides helping to clear up skin, they can help with overall health.
