Pros:

It works on my super sensitive skin, with all cleansers my face usually goes red and stays red, but with this one it goes red for the first 5 minutes, and then completely calms down! No redness at all!
-It's completely non irritating
-The smell is fine (Just like a regular soap)
-Also kind of helps with acne scars
-The bar lasts a long time

Cons:

-I find soaps harder to apply and I feel like I'm wasting the product when too much lather is produced and It ends up going down the sink. I like liquid face washes for this reason.
-If your skin is not sensitive and you have quite a bit of acne that you want to get rid of, this product probably isn't for you
-Doesn't completely clear skin

The main feature of my acne is my irritated, red cheeks, which also happen to be oily. :/ But with this cleanser, it happens to take away the oiliness without making it irritated! A+! I have two red acne marks on my cheeks which look totally small but can completely take over my cheeks and give them a red glow. But with cleanser, I've seen that the acne marks have been less effective at radiating their usual redness. And I've only been using this for a few weeks! I only got a small sample, (Thank you generous Lush consultant!) And I've been using it for around 2 weeks, it's still the same size! If you do get a bigger bar though, cut it up into small pieces to avoid wasting it and use one small piece at a time.

Pros:

Smells nice, no packaging so good for environment

Cons:

Makes acne worse, made my face burn!

I tried this thinking it'd be really good since most Lush products are fantastic. No such luck sadly, it made my face burn for some reason! It really irritated. Not for me.

Pros:

This soap really worked for me, my acne doesn't look red and angry as before, and is keeping my skin behaving for the last six months. It is a great alternative cleanser that wold not over dry my face.

Cons:

It leaves a white residue, that I don't mind because is working for me, but this residue will go away after using a moisturize.

I like this soap a lot. I have been using it for six months now and I just wonder if is going to keep on working, or I'll have to go back to the never ending search for a cleanser that works. Also that inch 1/4 bar I bought last me for 14 weeks, which is not bad for the price. Give it a try, and if you visit a Lush store, and sure they will let you have a little free sample.

Hmmmm?

so i visited a lush store last 2 weeks, and i was supposed to buy the herbalism, but they're out of stock so i asked the lady if what is the best substitute for herbalism and she recommended me the fresh farmcy. at first i was really not sure if im going to buy the product because the reviews says that it dries their skin, and it causes them to break out more, but silly me, i still bought it along with the mask of magnaminty and tea tree water toner, the soap has a very pleasant smell which i like its floraly. i like the smell, but the results, not really it gave me cystic acne, and dries my face to the point that the skin in my eyebrow is flaking. and the edge of my nose is flaking along with the sides of my mouth which shocks me because this soap is advertised as a soap for sensitive skin, and even people with eczema can use it. hmmm i dont really know. i think the oils in this soap is what is causing the breakouts and the fact that its a powder based soap makes me want to refund the product because this is kind of expensive for me. but anyways what doesnt work for me doesnt mean that its not going to work for you either. so if you are not allergic to any of the ingredients give it a try. but its a no no for me

Doesn't make it worse
I tried this for a period of time but I think my skin is too sensitive. When I wash my face with only water, bp from the regimen and moisturize, my skin is the happiest. This cleanser didn't necessarily make my skin worse, I actually liked how balanced my skintone looked, but when I had used this for a couple of months it just felt unnecessary and I still had small white under-the-surface bumps. I think this cleanser could work wonders for people who are not as sensitive though! Just make sure you wash all of it off.

Left residue and caused acne
I really wanted to like this product but I really hated it for my skin. In fact it made my skin worse. The only positive was that my skin looked less red because of the calamine. I still had existing acne/cystic acne and it did nothing for it but made it worse. It clogged my pores and was terrible to wrinse off.. I always felt residue left over even with a toner. Just bad all over for me.

Pros:

Calming, got rid of pimples at first, all natural ingredients, affordable

Cons:

wouldn't recommend using it everyday, drying, my skin became immune to it because after a few weeks it just stopped working.

lush has quirky natural skincare and all they're stuff smells super good but fresh farmacy was a little bit drying. It worked really well in the first few weeks and after that it worked ok but definitely not as well.
