I've used this product .. And there's no pimples at all ..you should try it if you are suffering from moderate acne really effective but the only side effect it has it'll dry your skin completely along with a good moisturizer it'll really works wonder. And yes have patience for about 2 months may be u dont really see any results at first but after a month you'll see noticeable difference .. Hope it will help u :)

horrible!!
used this after panoxyl face wash being discontinued- its the worse thing ever- applied only at night it coats your skin with a plastic layer and makes it so tight its impossible to move your face. I feel because of its gel-like consistency it never really soaks in it just sits on your skin? not nice! would not reccomend!

What an ignorant amd close-minded review. You rate it 2 stars and "horrible" based on its consistency only, but not on whether it actually works or not. And how tf do you know whether or not it actually soaks into the skin? Are you a chemist to know the interactions it has with your skin when applied, beyond a superficial level when initially applied? Maybe if you would have had the sense to wait it out and study how it works for you, aside from its "consistency"(because of course, you only bought it for how it "feels"

I've been using this for 3 weeks. My skin was mild acne beforehand, both on my face and my back. After a week of use, my face broke out terribly. Then, my forehead cleared up nicely, and my nose is ok. However, my chin and cheeks are awful! I've become so depressed and it keeps getting worse. I don't know what to do anymore. I don't want to stop using it in case it eventually works, but all it's doing is making my skin break out worse. My back has cleared up very well though and I feel more comfortable in bikinis/backless tops etc.

Mine was the same! Had 4 weeks of horrendous acne but it did then clear up and stay clear :-)

Pros:

Have seen none as of yet - Reading other pros keeping me at it though!

Cons:

Very dry skin, peeling. Soreness at times. Soreness when I have to exfoliate all the peeling off!

Haven't seen any effects as of yet, bar the dryness. Have only been using it for a week however, so will give it another few. Definately don't use under makeup!

Pros:

Not entirely sure as I've only been using it for a month.

Cons:

Makes skin very dry which is causing irritation. My skin looks worse than it's been for a while but that may be due to initial purging. Would like to add that I'm using Isotrex, not Isotrexin (no added antibiotic).

I'm hoping that within another month I'll see a big difference. I've been on Roaccutane before and loved what it did for my skin. But I was 'made' to come off Dianette and switch to Yasmin. Since then my skin hasn't been very good but has got progressively worse over the past couple of months. I initially went back to my derm to ask for another round of Roaccutane but he said my skin wasn't bad enough so prescribed Isotrex gel. Before that I was using Differin gel, which did nothing, and Retin A which I found slightly better. If Isotrex doesn't work then I'm going to 'demand' another course of Roaccutane as I'm almost 26 and fed up of suffering with acne. I'm also reluctant to use moisturiser as I'm afraid it will further clog up my pores.

Pros:

Works very well, effective, clears skin, makes skin less oily

Cons:

Peels and leaves skin dry. More moisturising than usual required.

I had moderate acne on my chin, cheeks and forehead, and after a about a month of using this, I saw a big difference. My skin was clear, and seemed brighter and more radiant. After about another month or two, my skin was peachy and glowing. And best of all, completley clear. Well worth it.

I've been using isotrexin+benzac ac togetger as my doctor advice. First applying isotrexin and then benzac ac. Using both of them gets inflamed acnes dry but also my skin gets dry extremely and some areas have redness and irritation! But I've decided to be patient and wait for my skin become familiar with it:)By the way insolation is deadly while using these..

Pros:

Cons:

for the past 3 weeks it seems to have stopped having an effect and my spots are getting progressivley worse again.
Also dryed out my skin in places.

worked quite well for a while but lost effectiveness for me fter a few months.

Pros:

helps your acne.

Cons:

risk of lossing your health in many diffrent ways.

I've been using isotrexin for a few months. When my doctor perscibed me isotrexin I read many good reviews here and wanted to give it a shot. It did really work, cleared my acne mostly (not completely) and I was happy UNTIL I had an eye problem about a month ago. I went to many eye doctors and they coulnd't figure out what it is. I also had hair loss that scared me. Long story short, after many doctor visits and a terrible month with eye blurrines/irritation/pain, I found out that the problems are side effect of Isotrexin. I had no idea how dangerous Isotrexin was. It has the same ingredient with accutane and this ingredient is banned in the US. I stopped using isotrexin and my eye is getting better. Hopefully I'll get my hair back, and hopefully it didn't do any other damage.. Bottom line: NOT WORTH the risk!

Cons:

stings like mad when you first put on..don't put to much on this makes your skin peel and iritate also which i did with BP

only bin on it for 2 days but skin isnt irritated (once a day at night) i reccomend. it is similar to the bp
