Changed my life
Started this about 3 months ago.. But using tissue as well to peel off.. I had adult acne and cysts in my cheeks.. My whole chin and cheeks were covered and every pore was a blackhead.. I done this twice and my entire face cleared up.. I could say I've gotten less spots in 3 months than in one week before.. I went a bit overboard at the start and done it too much and dried my face out.. But I now do it every 2 weeks and its ye perfect balance. Basically you get tissue and split the sheet so it's really thin.. Cut it to pieces for your face as cheeks.. T zone.. And your chin!! Then you get a whisked egg white and pretend it's glue and glue the tissue to your face.. Wet your face with egg.. Stick the tissue and pat it (so you don't break the tissue) with more egg.. Then cover your whole face in egg.. I usually do 3 layers (mind the tissue) The tissue shouldn't be visible.. If it is. You have used too much.. Let it dry.. Takes a half an hour.. Then when it's Rock hard. Peel it off.. You will actually not believe what you see. The contents of every pore on your face is on the tissue.. Millions of dots.. Some massive blackheads.. If you do it in natural light you can really see it.. Your pores can't get blocked if there is nothing in them.. My pores have shrunk to almost nothing as well! This is really really unbelievable

Pros:

Easy and practical, old American remedy, smooths skin, retains elasticity, purges pores of dirt, oil and pus, reduces redness, makes skin lighter, makes skin look more youthful.

Cons:

A bit messy and lightly drying, which takes a little getting used to.

My Mother told me about one of her most precious secrets while she was a teenager in the 70s. It was as simple as beating egg whites up in a bowl and applying them to your face as a mask! It is so simple, and instantly your skin feels rejeuvenated, healthy, clean and in the process of healing. Here's what you do: 1. Crack one egg and seperate the white into a bowl. This can be done by getting both halves of the cracked egg shell and transferring the yolk back and forth between them. The yolk should stay in one of the shells while the white falls in the bowl. Seperate the yolk and store it in your refrigerator, don't waste good food. Or, you could make scrambled eggs after you apply the mask! 2. Whip the egg white vigorously with a whisk or fork until it becomes a bit frothy, with bubbles on the surface. 3. (optional) Add a drop of Tea Tree Oil in the egg white. You can get Tea Tree oil from your local health food store. It usually comes in a little glass bottle and runs from $5-$15. Tea Tree Oil is a natural anti-microbial from the Australian Tea Tree and has been clinically tested to calm and clear acne breakouts. The anti-microbial properties of the Tea Tree Oil along with the proteins of the egg make the mask even more effective. 4. Apply egg whites to face. Smooth over face gently. The egg white will start to dry and tighten skin. At this point, take some more egg whites and spot treat problem areas and large pimples. 5. Go to sleep. Rinse mask off in the morning. Your face should feel calm, smooth and refreshed and breakout should be significantly reduced. Follow these simple steps and your breakout should clear up in no time!

Cons:

NONE

I have been using eggs regulary for about 3 months( i started in November of 2009 and now it's January 2010 ) and they work great for me. I find that the next day after an egg mask my skin is alot smoother and there is no red splotchess. it only costs me about $3 a month and I use it at lest once a week on Tuesdays and whenever i feel i need it ( that time of the month for instence ) What i do ( u don't have to do it the same way it's your choice how you do it this treatment might not be for everyone so if it's not working for you I would recomend either a honey mask or Burts bees ) HERE IT IS STEP BY STEP 1. separate the egg white and egg yolk and peel that translusant layer from around the egg ( this includes the air bubble ) it may take practice to remove from egg shell. 2 then i beat the egg white till it is all bubbly and apply it to my face 3 wait until I cannot smile 4 wash a bit but not completly then I apply the skin to my "problem areas" ( my nose and cheeks) if u can't get skin off it's ok just skip to yolk. 5 wait till skin turns a solid white and peel off 6 wash face DON'T DRY 7 apply yolk to face wait till u can't smile 8 wash off well ur skin will feel tight for at lest another 2 hours NOW U MAY DRY = D 9 ( optional, which i personally don't do ) apply your favorite mosturizer 10. Your done feel great dress up apply some make up ( if u wear makeup ...I wear makeup but only lip gloss and a bit of mascarra just cause I like the natural look = ) style your hair and feel special = )

Acne tips
Egg white mask works. But you must clean your face well, before applying the mask. People who suffer from acne, use Neutrogena bar of soap. Neutrogena has special bars soap for your skin type. I found the bar soap is better than liquid form. Leave egg white mask for 15-20 minutes. After the processes of the mask, then clean your face with warm water. When face has been wash. You always want your pores to close, in order of preventing pimples from breeding in there. After face has been wash, immediately use chilled witch hazel to help shrink pores and as well cleanse the face area. There are different egg white mask. Look on the internet which would work for your type of skin. To keep skin moisturizer, use natural oils. If you use a product from the store can cause your acne to flare. I found pumpkin seed oil put moisture in your skin. You can buy pumpkin seed oil in gel pill form. Apply the amount that is needed for your skin. When it has absorb in skin. Then apply Sunscreen to face and neck. Must becareful which sunscreen you use. Kiss My Face sunscreen is more natural. Aloe is good to heal acne flares just consistently rub on area every day. It will do the job. So, that you won't be bored. Do this procedure when watching TV. When face heals, use key lime juice freshly squeezed and rub several of layers of juice on face. It will help close pore and whiten dark spots on face. You will have to wash your face afterwards. You will see the glow on your face. I had terrible acne and my face has cleared from using natural elements. If people breakout you must make sure your face is very clean. Clean pillowcases help, change pillowcases every day. Keeping pores from getting clogged which cause acne. Also, if you have serve acne drink a gallon a purified water a day. Stay away from greasey food. Eat healthy to balance hormones levels. Unbalanced hormones can cause acne. You will see the change after 3 weeks. I hope all this info help you.

If you really appreciate yourself
I've always suffered from Severe acne! Imagine not even the strongest prescribed medicine was able to help me! I spent so much money trying to better my face going to dermatologist putting the randomest things on my face not eating junk food eating nothing but vegetables you name it ! I got so frustrated I practically ruined my relationship of how insecure I was! I couldn't look at my face in the mirror because I almost cried! I always did my makeup in the dark just because that was how I felt confident looking at myself. I was so paranoid I thought people were staring at me. My life was a living hell! I recently started putting more attention to my face researching what was good and what wasn't. I came across this egg white mask and it gave me beautiful results. However let me inform you it is not just the mask that helps its how much you contribute to your face and how much you really want to have beautiful skin. My routine: get one egg and separate the yolk from the egg white. In a bowl throw In the egg white and a forth of lemon. Mix it until the egg has turned nice and fluffy. Wash your hands and apply all over the face . Leave it on for about half an hour without touching the face . After the time has reached wash with warm water and finish off with cold to close the pores. Use a non comedogenic moisturizer and apply sunscreen if going to the sun. Here's a tip if you really want to take care of yourself eat healthy and get a fiber that will clean the inside of your stomach. This has really helped me and I really hope it helps you its never to late to feel confident!

Pros:

*Nice tightening feeling when dried!
*Tightens up pores.
*You can feel it working
*Very cheap and easy to get hold of!
*Reduces redness!
*Reduces size of pimples
*EVEN gets rid of annoying "sweat bumps"
*FAST RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!

Cons:

*Some people can be picky about the smell.
*Difficult to apply. (Recomend using just your fingers or a cotton bud.)
*The tightening feeling annoys some people, but doesn't bother me :)

First of, i LOVE this website :) I first came upon it looking for garlic reviews, but that's a whole other story ;) I have had tiny bumps on my forehead (sweat bumps, i think?) and also some light - mild acne in that area since I was 13. I am now 16 and in the past 3 years I have tried everything. And i mean EVERYTHING. You name it, I've tried it. My parents have spent too much money on expensive products which only let me down. But let me tell you, I am SO amazed by the results of this "remedy." AND.. I've only done it 4 times!! I never review anything, honestly I don't have the time, or well.. I'm just lazy haha. But this is amazing.. PLEASE try it - you won't be dissapointed!! :) So what I do is crack the egg in half and collect the yolk in one bowl and the white in another. To the white I add a few drops of lemon juice, and stir it well. (I know some people add honey.. but I haven't tried this yet!) I then apply the mixture to my face and leave on for upto 30 minutes, depending on how much time I have. But no less than 15 because it takes about that long to dry, sometimes longer! (Warning: you can't talk or drink once it's set, haha!) After 30 minutes I wash it off in my nightly shower. When I get out I wait 5 - 10 minutes and then apply some yolk. I only bother leaving this n for 15 minutes or so. Wash it off, hop into bed. In the morning the results are TREMENDOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly, I am so extatic that I've come across this. After FOUR TIMES of doing this everybody noticed how clear my skin was becoming.. Radiant, bright, smooth and best of all clear! :) Please try it everyone, you won't be dissapointed! I have been doing this every night so far, but that's okay since it's the first week - I plan to only do in 1 or twice a week as if a treatment is used too much your skin can become "imune" to it. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE GUYS :):):) good luck to all!

Pros:

Reduced Redness and inflammation, moisturized skin, made pores smaller, made skin smoother

Cons:

It smells absolutely disgusting

I've been using this every other night for a few weeks now and it seems to have improved the condition of my skin. I'm not sure it has done anything for my acne itself, but I haven't had any new break outs either. I LOVE the way my skin feels after using this. It's as soft as a babies skin! Well, ignoring the bumps from acne :P I also saw improvement in the redness and inflammation of existing acne. The biggest problem is that it smells disgusting when you first put it on. I put honey and lemon juice in the mix (honey for moisturizing, lemon juice for bleaching of past acne marks) but it doesn't do much to mask the smell. If you've ever smelled a sheep, goat, or wet hay, that's pretty much what it smells like. I'm not sure if organic, free range eggs would smell more like grass or not but I'm going to try and find organic eggs and find out. Bottom line, I will continue to use it because I like what it does for my skin but if you have a sensitive nose or stomach, beware!!! And if you love eggs, you might find yourself not loving them as much anymore.

Pros:

- Tighter Pores
- Brighter, smoother complexion
- Shrinks pimple sizes
- Eliminates some pimples

Cons:

- A bit itchy while drying
- Odor (I'm personally OK with the smell, but some people might be grossed out by it!)

I split the egg whites and yolk into two different bowls and I save the egg shells. For the egg white, I add some drops of lemon and a teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar (not regular vinegar!). Then I whisk the egg whites till it gets all foamy and I use the foam and put it on my skin. While wet, I peel off the white skin that's inside of the egg shell and rip them into small pieces to put over the big pimples I have. Then I reapply some foam over the pieces, kind of like paper mache. I usually leave it on for about 45 minutes and then peel off the egg skin. The big pimples get REALLY small! It's crazy and amazing. Then I wash off the egg whites and apply on the egg yolk for moisturizing and Vitamin A, which is good for treating acne. I've only done this for two days (once a week) and so far, the results are really good. Way better than any products at the drug store. It wouldn't hurt to try. If you have dry, sensitive skin however, I don't recommend putting in the lemon and apple cider vinegar because they're a bit acidic. I have very oily skin so it wasn't a problem for me.

Pros:

-Insanely good at removing redness on skin
-Softens skin
-Evens out skin tone
-Reduces and prevents acne.
-Makes your face overall look fresher and brighter
-Also great for reducing bags and dark circles.
-Easily available and cheap.

Cons:

None really, although at first applying the mask is a bit disgusting due to the fact your putting egg on your face, luckily it dries in very fast.

Minor purging of skin to begin with, few tiny spots on forhead, but these went after subsequent application of mask.

I can't believe how amazing this is, seriously. I've been using acne products for ages, all sorts of stuff and it's funny that the very best (or at least one of the best) solutions was right under my nose. I didn't think much of the idea of sticking egg whites on my face, but really the results are phenomonal. If you want to know what I do I simply: 1) Grab a bowl 2) Crack open an egg half-way 3) Slosh the yolk and egg whites between each cracked egg shell so the yolk remains in one, during this the egg whites will slip out into the bowl. 4) Stir the egg whites in the bowl until it's bubbly. 5) Apply generously to face. 6) Leave the egg whites in a fridge, normally I can get roughly 3 masks from 1 egg just don't wait to long because it'll go off quickly. Every night I start by applying a egg white mask, I leave this on for 30 minutes and rinse it off. I'm amazed at how well egg whites work as a mask, it feels like a real mask, it dries very quickly and gives a tight feel on your face. The smell believe it or not is really nice once rinsed off. After doing this for the first time, I immediatly noticed my redness had reduced, which I loved but sadly I also noticed a few pimples had come through (only tiny ones) I was worried but assumed it was due to purging. I decided to apply another mask and leave this one on all night. I woke up and aspected more acne but I WAS SHOCKED!!!! All I mean literally all the redness on my face had gone, the spots that came from the first application had gone and other spots had completely gone or reduced. Seriously I've struggled for redness on my face for almost ever. I also had dryness that wouldn't go away no matter how much I moisturized, after applying the egg whites over night I was AMAZED that it didn't dry my face like other masks but removed the dryness. Night times used to be the danger zone for me where new acne would form, now since applying this every night,

Pros:

- makes the blemishes fade within days
- dries your acne
- tighten you skin
- feel fresh and soft
- perhaps can clear your acne too

Cons:

Acne might come back if you stop using it

Before i start talking bout how amazing this mask is, i gotta tell you bout my skin first. I'm 18 and I'm Asian. I've been having acne since i was 12 and I've experienced many types of acne - black head, white head, little bumps and some nasty breakouts - you name it i have it. I've used this mask before cos my mom told me too but i didn't like it cos i thought it was messy but now i change my mind. So here is how i use it. Break an egg and take a bit of the egg white, use a clean fork to stir it til you see the bubbles. Use a cotton pad - those you use to remove make up - to spread the egg white on your face. It won't be messy this way. I normally use it after the shower at night and leave it on til the next morning. You can leave it on for an hour or two and wash it off that's fine. For me, the egg white mask is like a light barrier between my skin and my pillow. I've been using the egg white by itself every night for 3 nights or so and the blemishes start to fade. Highly recommended !
