Cons:

if you dont like the idea of putting egg on your face

my nose used to have lots of blackheads all over it and after i tried the mask it not only got rid of the blackheads but my pores appeared smaller and it even cleared up my acne. i use it at least twice a week and my face is baby smooth and soft. And also its really easy and cheap to get.

Pros:

Softer Skin !
Sweat Bump Killer !
Toner !
Smoother !
Cheap !

Cons:

None actually, only if used the wrong way.

So I have been using this "Remedy" for at least a month now. In this month I found there is a way to use it and not to use it, well at least in my case. The first 2 weeks I used it, it was phenomenal, I tend to sweat a lot ( I am very active, 2 hours of working out, 6 days a week). So in consequence, I have nasty little bumps on my chin, sides of my nose, forehead, and sides of my face. Sort of like combination skin. The mask made some of the bumps go away and made my face softer, at least in a way people began to notice. Then I got carried away....I began to leave on the mask when I went to bed and holy crap. I woke up with twice as much sweat bumps than I originally had ! I thought about it and it might have been because , my face started to sweat in the heat of the night and with the mask and sweat combining, bad effects happened. So the bottom line is if you are going to leave the mask on at night, make sure it's cold and you have the ability to sleep on your back ! I also think rubbing my face against pillows and such irritated my bumps. Extra: -The peeling skin on the egg shells kill off the pimples more than the mask itself -The yolk didn't really moisturize my face and it felt kind of awkward putting it on. :P

Pros:

Feels like it's working when you've got it on
Cheap to make
Makes quite a lot so you can use the same mix another time (but don't leave it too long because it will go off!)

Cons:

Quite messy to make
Makes face all hard (but actually i don't mind that!)

I have quite bad acne on my cheeks and some scarring, so after researching homemade remedies i decided to try this. So i'm sitting with it on right now, and my face feels solid, no different from any other mask i've tried. This is what i did: Put some olive oil on face because i heard it works, then cleaned face with soap and water. Then i mixed up 1 egg white with some honey and lemon and mixed until it went sort of bubbly, and put it all over my face, then i put some egg shell skin on the worst areas. To everyone that says it smells bad: i don't know what you did differently but it smells all right to me! So i'm sitting with it on right now and I'll wash it off in a minute and let you know!! OK i'm back. I let it dry (about 20 minutes) then washed it off with soap and water, and although i wouldn't say my skin is glowing i noticed it seems more even and i think my spots have gone down, and there doesn't seem to be much scarring. Basically I'm definitely going to try this again, and i hope this review has been helpful! Good luck!

Pros:

Makes skin soft
Pores are tightened
Dries pimples
Smoothes skin

Cons:

none besides it tightens the skin which feels really weird, but once you wash you if off your skin feels relieved..kinda like that feeling you get when you take of a tight pair of shoes after a long day :)

Great treatment for your face. First separate the yolk and egg white into 2 bowls apply egg white all over your face avoid eyes, nose and mouths leave on for 15 minutes wash off with warm water then apply the yolk all over face again avoid eyes, nose and mouth leave for 15 minutes wash of with cold water pat face dry disinfect area around the sink where the egg may have been, including your countertop, faucet, handles and bowl of sink with disinfectant wipes or spray..this get rids of any bacteria and the smell the egg can leave behind.

Pros:

`tightens pores and skin
`clears blackheads and shrinks pimples
`tones skin
`reduces redness

Cons:

`a bit itchy
`takes a while to dry
`messy
`egg white is drying
`gloooopy x)
`frozen face :P

it's a really good cheap treatment, although i only used it once, today. what i did was; i cleaned my face with a light cleanser, no scrubbing, no towel. i took an egg and seperated the egg white from the yolk. i kept the yolk and the shell. i squirted a bit of honey into the whites and using my fingertips and glopped it all over my face, making sure it didn't go into my eyes, mouth, or up my nose x) i peeled the egg skin from the shell and applied it to where the problem areas were. after drying (which can take a while), i use water and rinse it off with my hands. then i take the yolk, and in the same way, using my fingers i applied it to my face. this dries faster. it moisturizes the face after the egg whites. i rinse it off and wow. my exclamtion mark button isn't working the moment, but if it were i'd be using a hundred of them. it's wonderful. i used a q-tip after and applied, topically, a bit of apple cider vinegar (organic, with mother). and then, not as drastic an amount as dan uses, i apply some benzoyl peroxide. (just two pearl sized amounts) and some moisturizer. :) hope i helped. (; good luck.

Pros:

-Tightens Pores
-Fades Redness
-Rises puss
-Smooths skin

Cons:

-It's like cementing your face!

The egg mask works great for me, so far, I've been using it every Saturday. You skin is noticeably softer, less red, and any puss rises from the surface. The trick is to: -Separate yolk from whites, KEEP SHELL -Apply whites (wait 10-15 mins) -Wash off whites, PAT dry -Apply yolk (acts as a natural moisturizer, again, wait 10-15 mins) -Once dried, peel the inner skin from the shell and apply to zits, pimples, blackheads, ect. (Basic problem areas) -Wash off yolk, PAT dry -Voila! P.S. Please do this in the bathroom, in your own home, you probably will be laughed at. ; ) Good luck!

Pros:

-reduced redness
-improved skin tone
-minimized pores
-helped clear up acne! yay! :)
-worked FAST!

Cons:

-absolutely none!!!

My face broke out really bad recently and I have been FREAKING OUT, trying to find something that'll help it look good again, fast. I am sooooooo glad I tried this. On top of my regular skin care routine, I did an aspirin mask once in the morning and once at night, and then this egg mask (once with the yolk, once without) once a day, and I can't believe how much better my skin looks!!!! After just one day of trying this my face looked about 100 times better. I didn't think it was possible it could help so much and in such a short amount of time! It's seriously like magic. If you're thinking about trying this for the first time, DO IT!!! It's amazing.

Pros:

-tightens skin/pores
-softens & smoothes
-feels refreshing (once washed off)
-noticeably reduces redness
-brings pus to the surface

Cons:

-while the mask is on, it makes it really hard to move your face to do things (such as talk or drink)
-kinda of stinky
-can kind of be a little itchy, but that goes away after awhile.

My mask: -egg white -a little bit of egg yolk (about 1/4 or 1/5 of the egg yolk) -a bit of honey -a bit of lemon juice i mixed all of these together until it become frothy, and i applied it with a cotton ball. After, I applied some of the egg skin to my "problem areas". I left this on for quite awhile (about an hour) then rinsed off with warm water and a washcloth. This is my first time using it, and I immediately noticed that my skin was softer, a little bit less red, it helped dry out the oil (my face gets REALLY oily), it helped bring some of the tinier pimples pus to the surface, and it dried out my pimple quite a bit for a first application. It also helped to mosturize my skin without making it oily. I live in Florida, and during the summers it gets really hot and humid, which leaves everyone with a breeding ground of dirt, sweat, and other gross things clogged up in there pores. I'm am very please with the first use and how much it has done, and I'm going to continue using this mask, especially during the summer, to combat my acne.

Tightens pores

Evens skin tone
Reduces Redness
Heals pimples

Cons:

Goopiness

I just started diligently using the Acne Regimen treatment and am suffering from red, peeling skin and a few cysts. When my skin burns and my face is peeling, I worry about the effects of putting such a strong chemical like benzoyl peroxide on my face. I know it is effective and that after a time the redness/dryness will reduce, but still.... After reading numerous reviews abot the benefits of egg masks, I decided to give it a try. The morning after I applied the mask (whisked egg white with honey til it bubbled) I was pleasantly surprised by the reduction in redness and the smoothness of my skin. I have been applying it for the last 3 days and my skin seems to be getting better and to have calmed down. I'm adding lime-juice now to try to whiten some of the scars left my acne on my back and face. Try this! But give it at least a week to see if it is effective for you. With so many simultaneous acne treatments it may be hard to see which one is working.
