Pros:

It works when you first use it, then after it doesn't.

Cons:

It made me break out like crazy all over!
too pricey

I know everyone has different type of skin, i have combination skin and nit did not work for me at all! it made me break out even more then before, i already returned it and got my money back. Bottom line I do not recommend this product at all! and i definitely regret using it.

This a product is one of the many acne products i have used in the past but it is one of the most effective. After using the effaclar duo gel and foaming face wash my skin appears smoother and redness has decreased.

Pros:

- Gentle; didn't sting
- Helped control oiliness

Cons:

- Expensive
- Takes a while to get absorbed
- Did not make much of a difference to imperfections

It was generally a waste of money as it didn't do much to help the condition of my acne. Although it did help to make my skin a bit less oily. Also, I have sensitive skin and it didn't cause any sort of reaction or dryness, which is good. I think this product is worth a try if you are willing to spend the money on it, and also if your acne severity is only very light to perhaps moderate. Good luck! :)

Pros:

Controls oil and prevent acne. It works

Cons:

Seems that the acne comes back when stop usage.

I wear a lot of make up, this product helps to clear the pores, makes the skin looks healthier and prevents acne from forming. But, I still do have the occasional one/two huge zits. To combat this, I use Effaclar A.I as a spot treatment. The acne seems to die down the next day or two. The two products works well together. I also use Oil of Olay moisturer after. Probably, the only product that works on my skin. Try it.

Pros:

It makes your skin nice and cool. It clears the blemishes

Cons:

It's kinda pricey and I'm a natural person so i would they ysed less chemicals and more natural ingredients

Give it a try for sure!!! I use the face wash (effaclar) and the effaclar K Daily renewal fluid. i also put pure tea tree oil on my pimples and it dries them up well. However, the lady at the store tested my skin and said it needed moisture so you may wanna check out the effaclar H. I'm working my way up to it, next month i'll buy it. Ps. I started using these because the lady gave me a sample of the effaclar K, so maybe get a sample first and try it for a week, dime size will do the job and you can see the difference. Remember pimples also get worst during PMS time so it may not be the best time to test a product, wait till after.

Pros:

nothing

Cons:

dried my skin..broke me out

didnt work for me ...I used it for almost 6 months now together with effecklar Ai and Effecklar cleanser...I thought it was just purging my skin...but am breaking out like crazy..dried my skin...my skin was a lot better before i started... I tried Proactive but developed immunity to it...it only took 3 months for proactive to "purge" my skin and then cleared it on the 4th month... La Roche Posay is expensive too....It might probably work for other but definitely didnt work for me....Good Luck!!

Pros:

Smells nice.

Cons:

Bad reaction - dried my skin right out and created a burning sensation. Never had a reaction to a product before.
Too expensive for such a small amount!

Maybe it works - but not for me. No change in acne because I couldn't use it long enough to find out. It dried my skin out to the point that it was painful.

Pros:

Good consistency and packaging.

Cons:

Caused severe allergic reaction (contact dermatitis rash) on my face. Did not diminish active breakouts (rather, it exacerbated them).

If you have sensitive skin, be cautious when using this. I found my skin to be EXTREMELY sensitive to the fragrance used in this medication.
