Pros:

-Feels great on skin
-Lightweight, feels like my skin absorbs it nicely
-Does a great job moisturizing my skin

Cons:

-Makes me breakout

I live in a very dry climate (desert) and it is unbelievably difficult to find a reliable moisturizer. I bought this moisturizer hoping it may be the solution. It feels very great on my skin and I like the fact that it has salicylic acid so it helps battle acne. I have light acne, but for some reason, whenever I use this product I wake up the next day only to find myself with new spots on my face. I want to like this product, I really do, and it feels so good on my face and it actually does a good job moisturizing, but all-in-all my face breaks out the next day. I will recommend this product, you should try it. I just think I should pass on it because my skin hasn't been reacting to it the way I would've wished, but maybe you may have better luck. And for the price, its not taking a big chance

Pros:

cheap I guess

Cons:

Made my break outs worse

Made my break outs worse, but very gradually. a year later my acne went from mild to moderate/severe. It happened gradually so I didn't realize it was the cause at first .. But I quit using it and 3 months later my skin is back to normal, very mild acne almost none existent. .. only I have very minor scaring now. I don't recommend it

Pros:

lightweight/doesnt feel heavy, makes my face smooth, slightly moisturizes

Cons:

Makes my skin read, burns, tingles, smells weird, small bottle, expensive, makes me break out in pimples more often, doesn't blend into face well

i have very dry sensitive skin, so i think this product is more for someone with oily or combination skin that isn't sensitive. it's hard for me to find products that work, but i would recommend this to someone with flaky skin

good but I moved on from it
It's a good moisturizer but, I switched to a new brand. felt like didn't really work. I developed some small bumps from this one. I finished the whole bottle since I'm cheapskate. And therefore, I can really tell it didn't work for me at all

Pros:

Relatively Cheap compared to other products

Cons:

Dries skin out
Stings when applying
Makes skin red and irritated

I had used tried moisturizer for the first time while on Proactiv. It seemed promising, however it led to additional postules all over my face. I decided to give the product away and try something new. Then for some strange reason about a year later, i decided to try it again, this time however with Retin-A. Because of the salycylic acid it caused my skin to become more dry, flaky and irritated. In addition it didn't moisturize nearly enough to what i need from the drying effects from Retin A. Therefore large cysts had formed on my chin and upper cheeks. My regime was a salycylic Obagi face wash and this lotion in the AM. Nightly was the same, with the addition of Retin A .05%. This moisturizer could be very effective if you had very light or light acne. But with moderate acne, along with Retin-A, it wasn't a very helpful product. I have retired the product and am now using Cetaphil, Retin-A, and Neutrogena Moisture SPF 15 with better results.

Breaks me out.

Pros:

Light weight
Cheap
Absorbes well.

Cons:

Breaks me out.

Ive used this a few times over the past 2 years and every time I seem to break out from it. UGH, very annoying, it is light weight and rubs in well but the Salicylic acid in it seems to react with my skin.

Poor moisturiser
I have been using the product for some time and I've nearly finished the bottle. I do think that it works well to prevent further breakouts, but in terms of moisturizing the skin I think it has little effect and wears off before long, making my skin dry again. So, I would suggest opting for a better brand. By the way, I couldn't give my review a lousy one star because it didn't exacerbate my acne. Hope this helps.

It doesn't really do what it says?
I find that this moisturizer works well to somewhat keep acne at bay for me, but doesn't actually moisturize my face, it only makes it dryer. When I first apply it, it gives a very nice cooling sensation, and moisturizes for about 5 minutes. After that, my face is back to being dry, and applying more only worsens this feeling. However, it did not make my acne worse. Upon further inspection I see that it contains salicylic acid, which is why it keeps breakouts at bay but doesn't do much in terms of moisturizing. I've also notices that it sometimes leaves a strange film on my face which comes off in white waxy-looking clumps if scraped at with a nail. Overall, this product is eh. It is pretty easy to find a better moisturizer than this once, and I would advise you to keep looking to get a fully moisturized feeling face.

Not moisturizing enough
Irritating and drying, though it aborbs pretty fast and has a pleasant cooling sensation once applied. The 0.5% salicylic acid is definitely ineffective.
