I bought the Derma Cleanse System as well as the Botanical Acne Body Mask. I enjoy using masks for acne and even though this one was formulated mainly for the body you can use it on the face as well but I found that it was a little too harsh for my skin as I have a mild case of rosacea as well as acne so I could no longer use the mask and don't have any acne on my body so I phoned them for return info and sent it back. I wasn't expecting to get my money back because you always hear of all these scams but they refunded my money about two weeks later! I continued to use the Derma Cleanse System on my face and the gel was gentle enough that it didn't irritate my skin and the capsules worked to get rid of my acne. I am on my third kit and extremely happy with the results and all the great service I have received from this company. SO happy none of this is a scam!

Takes quite a while to see results, it can get expensive andI may be the only one but I don't really like the smell

I am yet another one of those people who have tried EVERYTHING for my acne. Murad worked for the first month but then stopped, Pro-active dried me out, Exposed didn't work at all, OTC stuff made me too red, prescription stuff made me sick, and other home remedies were a joke! I wasn't going to bother to try zenmed because I figured it would just be another product that didn't work or dried me out but I thought oh well and tried it anyway and was amazed that there is actually something out there that helps my skin!

Pros:

Gentle, effective, and natural.. lasts a long time! (twice as long as they say!)

Cons:

Takes some time, and possibly an initial breakout. Expensive (there are coupons, though! Sign up on their email list.. or go to retailmenot dot com and search zenmed dot com.. they alwayss have a $10 off any purchase!)

I used this for.. i think five or six months. Severall people commented on my skin looking soo much better! It didn't dry it out either! Most stuff i'd been using would dry my skin out, and over time, with so many chemicals, i'd caused my skin to produce excessivvee oil! So, at first, this kit was really hard to use, because it wasn't drying out any of the oil! I felt so gross! But after, i think three weeks, it started to continually improve. It would go up and down and up and down, esp the time of month, but after like 2-4months it was consistently and significantly clearer. I ran out right before my wedding and started using cheap stuff. Now it's been a couple of months, and i want it back! I've stopped wearing makeup, so i am hoping it will clear it completely this time! ps. I would wear makeup and bronzers and blush and switch ALL the time.. so bad for your skin, i know! This allowed me over time to slowly ease off of makeup! No other product has done that since proactiv 3 years ago.. but that stopped working so well after a year! And gave me HORRIBLE break outs after i got off of it!

A touch expensive

I'm glad I waited a while to post this review because if I had done it in the first 6 weeks it may have been negative. I didn't see results and had trouble remembering to take the capsules and the smell isnt bad and it's not very strong but I didn't really care for it. Anyway I had bought enough for 3 months so I continued and was surprised that around the 6 week mark my acne completely turned around and cleared up!

I've heard it takes a while to see results

This has helped somewhat with my acne but most of all it has made me feel really healthy! I have asthma and some other problems caused by smoking and since using these capsules I have felt so much better in my body.

Wish it automatically came with a moisturizer

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Believe me - these are fantastic products! Don't be discouraged about having your skin get worse a few weeks in or not seeing any improvements for a while because it took me 4 months to see ANY results at all and I used it for about a year and am SO clear now and I am finally able to leave the house without makeup or a hat to cover my face!

Pros:

The Derma cleanse system worked great for me. I have had acne since I was 17, I have tried everything from clearsil to proactive nothing worked like this did.

Cons:

little pricey, was not a fan of the smell

it worked for me.
