Zenmed : Derma Cleanse System

this review is not for the derma cleanse system but its for the therapy kit for combination skin from the same company. this therapy kit was the most gentle yet effective acne treatment i've used. there is really something to using herbal products instead of harsh chemicals to treat acne.

I didn't see a place I could review the acne therapy kit which is what I used, not the one with the vitamins. The therapy kit comes with an exfoliant instead of vitamins. I was torn over which 1 to order but since my acne really isn't that bad, basically monthly breakouts really, I went with the topicals alone because I didn 't feel I needed the herbal detox the vitamins claimed. The 3 steps smelled great and did really feel good on my skin. the "exfoliant" which replaces the usual toner step was alot more gentle and not stinging on the skin than others I use. I do notice a change in my skin. It's not as dry and the acne even during hormonal times is smaller and if I apply the acne gel directly to it it goes away quicker.

used this for the last 4 months. skin is alot better than it was and i was lucky not to get that initial breakout everyone talks about. all in all pretty good stuff.

I will say it again even though everyone else has already said it - this does take a while but it WILL work if you give it a chance. If u have acne severe enough to require something other than basic over the counter medication then you have something going on in your body that will take time to get rid of and since you are using herbs it will take a couple of months. This is a blend of herbs that works well to get rid of junk in your body. Ask any herbalist or nutritionist and they will recommend several or all of these herbs to clear your body. The topicals it comes with are gentle and effective but the capsules are what will work on your acne. The negative reviews I am seeing here seem to be because people are only giving this a few weeks for it to work or are seeing some extra pimples that come out after the first few weeks. This is normal and means it is effective and working and you should not panic and stop or you are going to be back at square one with your acne. I did a ton of research and saw a naturopath and nutritionist to help with my acne that I had for over 10 years quite badly and saw that other than harsh medications which will damage your organs and cause some disturbing side effects, that herbs are the best way to go. I chose this program based on the fact that they have been around for a while and all the reviews I've seen from people that have given it a chance are extremely positive. My acne is now gone, and yes it did take about 4 months, but it was done safely and effectively. I highly recommend this system to anyone struggling with severe acne like I was.

I keep taking it month by month but I do keep noticing a difference every month. My acne is going away and even some scars and bumps. there is no redness or peeling on my skin and it looks nice and healthy

My daughter is 16 and has had moderate acne since she was about 12. Her dr wants to put her on antibiotics like tetracycline but I don't want her to have all of that in her system. I did a lot of research and found zenmed. She has been using it for about 5 months now and is seeing significant results at this time. It did take a while but we were expecting that based on the reviews we had already read. She is experiencing no side effects and I am pleased that her acne is quite clear at this point. I would recommend this as a safe alternative to anyone who has been recommended antibiotics

The pills in this system are incredible. They are like magic. I can not believe how good I look and feel. They not only cleared up my acne but I swear they made my hair shinier and I had a weird small rash on my leg that had been there for months that disappeared! I'm going to continue taking these even though they told me I didnt have to because my acne is now gone.

I bought the zenmed kit in Dec. and after trying it for a few weeks, I couldn't continue due to a horrible rash of bubble-like pimples all over my chin. I contacted them on Feb. 17 to obtain return info. They told me how to return it and I did so the next morning. They have a 60-day "People Pleaser" guarantee. I never received a refund. After contacting them again, I was told I now didn't qualify for a refund bcuz they didn't receive my return until Mar. 16th. I'm not buying it. It shouldn't take a frickin month to receive. The manager I spoke with in customer service was very cold and clearly could care less about an unsatisfied customer.

Combined with a healthier diet and exercise, this took about 8 weeks to start working. I used the cleanser and gel twice a day and took the pills 3x a day. Up until that point, I would still get giant zits on my jawline and I was afraid it wasn't working. But now my skin is almost cleared up, and those giant zits aren't nearly as everyday as they were. The pills lasted two months, everything else lasted over three. Now I take 1 pill at night and also purchased the aha/bha complex and botanical acne mask. I really started noticing a difference with the mask, which I also use as a spot treatment at night. When I can see/feel a zit forming under my skin I put the spot treatment on and it keeps it under control. At first I was hesitant to purchase something so expensive, but it lasts a long time. Besides, I would spend way more to have clear skin again.

These capsules work like they should - they detoxify your body and get the bad stuff out first then repairs your skin so its clear after that. I am quite impressed with these capsules and although the initial breakout sucked because I wasn't looking for more acne - it ended up clearing up my acne totally so I guess it was worth suffering through that 2 week period.
