Pros:

None that I could find.

Cons:

I thought it would clear up my skin really good but it made it worse.

This product contains zinc, which I am allergic to. I had no idea and started using this product a lot and got puffy eyes, along with red bumps and a small rash. Don't use this if you are allergic to metals such as zinc or possibly even aluminum. This product contains 10% benzoyl peroxide too, so it dries your skin out like crazy.

Pros:

It works, it's cheap.

Cons:

It can make your acne worse than it was in the beginning (I used to use this product and it was fine and didn't make it worse, then I used Proativ, which is the BEST but it's expensive and I've bought this in the meantime until I can get proactiv)

I just bought this product again today and I washed it off and it made my face sting and burn and have redness under the acne which has never happened before, although I'm not sure if it's the product or the product combined with a natural face wash I used. The burning stopped but unfortunately there is shadows of redness all over my acne. It's getting worse grrr. I hope this works. I read this thing about the real cause of acne is hormonal imbalance which is caused by the livers inability to flush away all the excess hormones. acne is evil!

Pros:

Clears and prevents most of my acne. The little I do get isn't very noticable and goes away quickly.

Cons:

Still have trouble with oilier spots such as my nose and forehead.

Pretty good, I have to take medication for it too, but much better than anything else I've tried.

Pros:

Really clears skin! Tingly clean feeling. Does prevent acne!

Cons:

Kind of drying because it does have 10% benzoyl peroxide, so use a moisturizer or lotion after washing.

I really love this product! I tried everything. Proactiv, Nuetrogena products, Acne soaps... This is the only thing that has worked for me on a consistent basis. And I know if you used proactiv like me and it dried the heck out of your skin because of the massive amount of benzoyl peroxide, don't be afraid of this product because it has 10% (proactiv has 2.5%) But, you have to remember, with proactiv you are actually leaving the benzoyl peroxide on your face, and it soaks in. With this clean and clear you wash it off, so even though it sounds like a high percentage it doesn't dry my face out hardly at all compared to proactiv.

Pros:

Does the job its suposed to! Gets rid of Acne.

Cons:

Bp makes ur eyes water first few times, but u get used to it.

Well worth it. Gets rid of breakouts, and drys up pimples. Be careful though if you have sensitive skin, the BP may be a bit strong. But I am commpeltly clear thanks to this stuff! I use it to prevent the acne as well, not just to clear it up. I use it up to 4 times a day, cuz of oily skin, so it can be a bit pricy.

Pros:

Worked for me a few years ago and went back to it recently because nothing else works as well for my skin. Very affordable.

Cons:

Hurts if you get it in your eyes or even just near them so be careful!

I only use it around the areas where I break out then wipe it off with a cloth before rinsing with water. I find that this is the best way to avoid getting any in my eyes and also since I have dry skin, I am only treating the areas where I get acne and not the entire face. Also, I don't know if this is only in Canada, but the BP content is 5% (as opposed to 10%). 10% seems a bit much.. This product worked for me as a teen and now I'm in my 20s and I have returned to it and am quite happy with it.

Pros:

cleared up my forehead

Cons:

Cheeks look worse and BP may not be so good for your skin

This product worked well for me as a teen so I thought I would try it again. I guess my skin is different now because it is not working even after 4 weeks. It has really dried out my skin and I am getting to the age where I cant afford that. (I'm starting to see a loss of firmness from all these products.) I've found that the peroxide in most acne products makes my spots from previouos breakouts darker. I've even read that the reaction it causes in your skin is simmilar to what happens when you're exposed to the sun. I've since stopped using products with that ingredient and my spots have really started to fade (its been less than a week) before they would look darker after I'd wash.

Pros:

It's cheap, but you get what you pay for in that respect.

Cons:

Highly irritiating, non rinsible, ineffective.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! The menthol will burn your face and sting your eyes, even if you use it as directed, the thick cleanser doesn't rinse easily, and worse than that, I haven't noticed any change at all.
