Pros:

Nothing anymore..

Cons:

Ditto what the others have said about the new formula

I tried the generics of the old formula (target brand, walmart brand, CVS brand) and all of them are great for sensitive skin, but the moisturizing capabilities just aren't there. Switching to a new brand.

Pros:

nothing....

Cons:

gave my skin a bumpy texture, irritated the sensitive skin around the jaw, broke out my forehead, stung my eyes and nose, smelled like sunscreen, greasy and heavy

Oh, how foolish I was to assume that a new look didn't mean a new formula. I felt instant burning on my skin, and looked in alarm at the ingredient box. My holy grail to soft, smooth skin was gone. Although marketed as an improvement in UVA protection, it's not worth it anymore. I've resorted to an Avon moisturizer that does maybe a 1/3 of the job the old Olay moisturizer did. It breaks my heart that they would try to "fix" something that wasn't wrong in the first place. I do hope they'll give us the old formula back...

Pros:

NONE, unfortunately. They need to change the formula back.

Cons:

I knew from the first application of the new formula I was in trouble. Didn't even have to look at the ingredients to know they messed around with the formula. Olay, I hate you now. Grrrrr.

This USED to be my moisturizer. I bought a bottle of the new formula a few months ago and the FIRST time I put it on, I turned into a sensitive skin nightmare. Blotchy, red, dry, cracking skin. Whoa. I tried it one more day with the same results. Even though I don't put moisturizer near my eyes, it made my eyes burn so bad I couldn't see and I had to wash my face less than an hour after I put it on. I'm sure if I kept using this cr@p more than I did it would bring back some cystic acne. Bleh. IMPORTANT! If you knew and LoVeD the old Olay, PLEASE call 1-800-285-5170 Monday through Friday, 9:00AM-6:00PM ET to speak to an Olay rep. Tell them you've been having a bad reaction to the new formula and you need the old formula back! ALSO-I found CVS (and I'm sure other stores) have a generic version of the old Olay formula. There is something just not quite right with the CVS formula, so I've been using up my Olay stockpile, but if anyone else has tried the generics post about th

Pros:

can't tell if it has prevented sunburn, which I guess is a pro.

Cons:

Everything! I used this product for four years with great results. Nothing else worked as well as Olay sensitive skin. Now the formula has changed and it burns my skin and turns it red.

Worst "improvement" ever. I used to use it to remove eye make-up and now I won't put it anywhere near my eyes. so disappointing. Bring back the original formula!

Pros:

Many, non oily.

Cons:

None

This product moisturizes well. Shannon's comment should be omitted from the board because she didnt use Olay, she used Walmart brand, which contrary to what she said is NOT the same, if it was the same it wouldnt be $4 and runny.

Pros:

Moisturizes, good consistency, doesn't make my face excessively oily after a few hours. Light fragrance

Cons:

Just the stigma of a man buying Olay lotion.

I have combo/oily skin and have I've tried several moisturizers..This is the only one so far that seems to moisturize without making me greasy and has SPF

Pros:

This product has nothing negative with it, if you're using the old formula. They changed their product in May 2009 to a new formula that not longer has the old active ingredients, but 4 new ones. Can still find old product online.

Cons:

The new product sucks- if you see the Olay website, users of the old formula are very upset because of the change. The new product is greasy, and makes many people break out. But the old product is tried and true and works fabulously.

New product sucks, old formula however is amazing. It doesn't smell like sunscreen, like the new formula does, and isn't fragranced. It is non-comedogenic, and is very light and non greasy. It provides great moisture throughout the day, while giving you basic sun protection. All around amazing, staple product. Although new formula is being sold at Target, Safeway etc., you can still find old formula product online!

Pros:

SPF, Light-ish

Cons:

Not moisturizing enough, changed active ingredient, oily, doesn't take care of flakiness

I've been using this product for about 4 weeks and it hasn't worked to well for me. I bought this in July and i checked in on the Dan's recommended product list and it says that they changed the active ingredient from zinc oxide to avobenzone which has actually been causing me to break out a bit. It also hasn't taken care of my dry spots or my flakiness even after I mix jojoba oil with it. It makes me face shiny and oily and balls up when I put it on about 15 minutes after the BP. No matter how long I wait, it always balls up. I wouldn't recommend you to get this.
