Pros:

Really helps stop acne!!
I haven't had any new spots since I started using it a few weeks ago

Cons:

Price (even though my dermatologist gave me a card so I don't pay more than 25 dollars)
it dries out your skin (but benzoyl peroxide is famous for that)

Great product if benzoyl peroxide works for you, and I will happily keep lotion companies in business if it means being break out free.

Pros:

Clears up acne
Less is more
Not too drying
Cost depending on insurance

Cons:

Bleaches fabrics
Takes a few weeks for skin to adjust

Acanya has been my little miracle when mixed with other acne fighting medications. I have suffered from acne for about 10 years now and nothing helped me get 99% clear. When putting Acanya with .05% tazorac gel and birth control, my acne has cleared up to basically 100%. I usually have persistant acne with at least one new break out everyday and with using Acanya I don't get new break outs. The 2.5% bp is subtle enough that it doesn't dry the skin out so much it's always chapped and the clindimyacin helps to fight p.acne bacteria. *If you are going to be put on Acanya be patient because it takes a few weeks for your skin to not be so red and irritated. Once it acclimates your skin will be flawless. Ask your derm. about gradually going onto it like every other day for the first 2 weeks and then use it every day!! I highly reccomend this product :]

Pros:

Works great

Cons:

Says it expires very quickly
It's really expensive without insurance

I had skin issues -understatement-for years. I tried many products and my derm was talking about putting me on something very strong which I didn't agree with, so I got a second opinion and was I introduced to acanya gel. For the first two or three weeks I was using it once a day and wasn't noticing a difference-it was really dissappointing. But toward the end of the fourth week I noticed that this product was working like a charm. It seriously cleared everything up and I swear it is the reason I have not had a cystic breakout in close to 8 months-I used to get these suckers about once a week. I truly think it is a miracle in a bottle and if you are suffering with acne just give it a try- I really hope it works as well for everyone as it did for me, we deserve it!! The only cons are that it is expensive but in my opinion soooo worth the price tag; the other issue is that the bottle says it expires in 2-3 months. I refrigerated my bottle and it lasted me and worked great for close to 8 months. Has anyone else has this experience with acanya? Anyway, I hope you'll give it a try and I hope it's a miracle for everyone else too!

Pros:

Nothing so far.

Cons:

Dries out my face bad. Burns when I put it on, and leaves my face looking red and irritated.

I have been using this product for about a month now and so far I haven't had anything good to say about it. My face is flaky and hurts. Even just putting on moisturizer burns because of this. So far I am not a fan. Keep in mind I have only been using it for a month. It could get better.

Pros:

Not really anything to be honest. Comparatively cheap I guess?

Cons:

Did absolutely nothing to my acne during the 2 months I used it. If anything, it made my acne a little worse.

I used Acanya for 2 months, expecting it to clear up my moderate acne after reading some pretty good reviews. Basically, it didn't change a thing. Very disappointed, as my acne is now worse than it was when I started on it. Pretty much Acanya did nothing for me. Like absolutely no difference at all, whether good or bad. Skin stayed the same throughout the 2 months I used it, besides a slight flare up I've had the last couple of weeks,

Drastic Results Already

Pros:

Cleared up Acne
No breakouts

I started this using on my face about a week ago and have already noticed a change. I wash twice a day with cetaphil DermaControl wash and moisturize with the cetaphil DermaControl moisturizer. To fade the dark marks my dermatologist prescribed a Hydroquinone and fluocinolone acetonide.
