Pros:

- clears up skin better than 95% of other acne products
- doesnt burn skin, or acne spots
- can be applied to open or "popped" pimples

Cons:

- leaves skin a little bit tight when applied (very little)
- dries skin a little bit, but that is somewhat the point of this treatment (to kill bacteria and dry up red spots)

good product, recommended trial of this treatment... majority of users have good results for people with skin problems like me that none of that commercial neutrogena, oxy, biore, or clean and clear work for, and make skin worse sometime this product is different and recommended, remember its a topical treatment, just a cream to be put on spots hopefully its success so far with my skin, stays long term !

Pros:

Clears up back acne fast! Cheap since covered by health insurance:)

Cons:

your body gets used to it after a while

Works but not a good long term solution

Pros:

- clears me up
- health insurance covers it so it costs nothing
- nice spot treatment or all-over when breaking out

Cons:

- drying
- texture is on the gooey side
- must use frequently to see results

more pros than cons overall. wish the texture was nicer and didnt give a white-ish paste look so i'd be inclined to use it during the day with make-up. clears me up without costing tons of money. happy overall. should probably use it on a regular basis to keep the breakouts on the downlow

Pros:

My acne has cleared tremendously, with very few and minor remaining zits, due to this product. I used 2.5% BP before, but I had to stop because it was incredibly expensive for such a small bottle.

Cons:

-product dries out skin a bit so a moisturizer is recommended
-product can bleach clothes and hair

Since I live in Canada and therefore can get this product with a prescription for only $11, the product is definitely well worth it. It has worked well and consistently for the 9 months I've used it, with absolutely no down time or skin irritation. I highly recommend it.

Pros:

Cleared up acne really well :)

Cons:

Hard and difficult to use on back or shoulders if you have acne anywhere other than face, tends to bleech clothes or pillow sna dbed sheets, effects stop when you stop using almost immediately.

I was prescribed this before I tried the birth control pill. i really liked it but I developed a tolerance to it after a about 2 years of taking it. I took a break from it and now I just use it as a sort of spot treatment for any breakouts (like if I went out to the bar and wore a heavy make up and had a few pimples the next day) and it works very well. I liked that using this my acne didnt have to get worse before it got better. Also made face more sensitve than it aready was to sun, and if I ever put it on jsut before putting a shirt on in the morning, that shirt alwasy presented with a bleech like effect around the neck and sometimes on the shoulders.

Cheap Easy to apply

Cons:

Hasn't really done anything and I've followed instructions perfectly for 3 months

Has not worked for me at all
February 1, 2009

Pros:

Clears up really really quickly and gets rid of excess oil

Cons:

Dries it out a little too much, but that goes away within a couple of days of continued use, makes skin itchy for about a week

It's a good product, well worth the initial pain and grief
December 18, 2008

Pros:

Works fast, No smell, Easy to apply

Cons:

Bleaches fabrics, Dries skin

Only been using for a week, already seen improvement (mostly in whiteheads), seems to lighten marks from old pimples, not too drying so far, covered by most extended health care plans.

Pros:

My doctor originally prescribed me Retin-A but I found it was irritating and drying up my skin too much, Ive been using this for about a month now and I definetly have seen an improvement.

Surprisingly it doesn't aggravate my skin, I recommend it!

Pros:

Works within days.
Cleared up my pustules (the big, red, pus-filled ones)

Cons:

Caused dryness, redness, irritation but that decreased the longer I used it.
Didn't work on my comedones (the tiny, skin-coloured bumps)
Bleached my pj's

My doctor gave this to me the first time I went to him about my acne. I used a thin layer all over my face every night and it got rid of my bigger pimples. However I was still left with lots of tiny bumps on my cheek. My doctor prescribed me Tretinoin to get rid of those but my skin got too irritated when I tried to use both every day. Now I just spot treat the bigger pimples with Clindoxyl when they pop up. They are usually smaller by the next morning and are totally gone within a few days. I've used this for about 2 years but I ran out of it for a month before I could get my prescription renewed so now I'm going through the getting irritated by Clindoxyl stage again. My pharmacist recommended that at first I just use it for a few hours in the evening then wash it off and work my way up leaving it on overnight so that my skin can get used to it. I really recommend that to anyone who's just starting to use it so you won't wake up with a bright red, itchy face.
