Pros:

I thought it was working initially as it seemed to calm my skin down but then my skin gradually got worse...I got pimples in areas where I have never had a pimple before and I didn't even put the medication there (although I did in surrounding areas)

Cons:

Definitely made my skin worse!! I would never recommend this product (or most BP medications) to anyone with even remotely sensitive skin! It can potentially do more harm than good.

It may work for some but I for one will never use a BP product ever again! The lingering red marks take MUCH longer and are MUCH more pronounced when treated with BP. I hardly had any red marks (they were mostly light pink) when I did absolutely nothing to my skin (except wash it 2x a day) and now, after clindoxyl, I have the worst skin I've ever had in my life! I noticed the worsening of my skin and stopped using it after 2.5 weeks.

Pros:

doesn't smell bad!
doesn't burn or sting!
simple!

Cons:

none!

bottom line, i've been using it for only a few days and my skin is already looking better! i usually have breakouts all the time and i usually wear pounds of face make-up to try and hide it! but after using this for only a short while, i have a feeling i won't need to anymore! my pimples are going away and they are less red, my skin is also less oily! try it! i'm also on pills from my doctor!

Pros:

Worked really quickly and I don't get many whiteheads or anything like that often.

Cons:

I still have blackheads under my skin that need squeezing, as it doesn't bring them to the surface. Can dry out the skin a bit, just buy some good moisturizer.

Good product, not very expensive, and it works. I find it works better than Differin and Proactiv, so its worth trying out. As long as you have some sort of lotion you're set. =D

Pros:

It does really improve your skin, it makes it go away almost totally.

Cons:

After some time, the effect stops and you're in the square one again... Sigh.

It does help for some time, but then the effect stops completely. My acne is kicking back in. So if you are looking for a temporary help then this is your choice. But dont expect your skin to stay clear for ever.

Pros:

Seems to be working but can't say for sure as I just started using it 4 days ago. However, my sister said my face looks much better and she asked if I was wearing makeup (which I wasn't!) and that was after only 3 days of use.

Cons:

Somewhat expensive but hopefully my insurance will cover it! Either way, still cheaper than many other products on the market.

The reason I wrote this review (my first ever) is not necessarily to rate the efficacy of the product as I haven't given it enough time to work yet. I wanted to write the review as I have experienced little to no dryness or redness from the product as of yet (and I was fully expecting to so I planned to stay in for a few days). I believe the reason for this is because I always wait ~15 min after I wash my face before applying the product. Your skin will absorb less of the product this way but at least side effects are minimized. Please try this before giving up on the product as this method may work for some.

Pros:

shrinks pimples fast and skin looks much more clear

Cons:

doesn't make them come to the surface so the bumps stay there forever and i had to squeeze them out!

it's the only thing that works for me but too bad this doesn't let the pimple come to a whitehead, anyone noticed this?

Pros:

Used clindoxyl in combination with proactive had mild acne cleared it up.

Cons:

It took several weeks to see results (4 weeks). Only had a few zits (3-4) after a week of using the product I could count 15 new ones! Skin became dry, flaky and red.

Affordable used this product with procative 3 in one solution. Clindoxyl at night and the 3 in one procative solution during the day. White heads are gone and scars are clearing.

Pros:

It worked really, really well for the first year or so.

Cons:

After the first year, I've began struggling again with acne. I find Clindoxyl doesn't let the acne come to the surface, so I always had permanent white bumps under my skin - they weren't especially visible, but I could see them.

When you first use it, it will turn your entire face red. I found this out the hard way - ended up going to school looking like I had the weirdest sunburn ever (and people noticed)! But once your skin gets used to it, it goes away. I found that due to using this, my skin was never smooth, there were always bumps and it always felt 'rough'. I have been using this for almost two years and felt that it just wasn't helping that much anymore. It did work REALLY well for the first while and I do recommend it. Just be careful to hide out for the first few days if you don't want people to ask why you look like someone poured tomato soup on your face (true story!)
